It works for me just fine.
anopiko 13.9.2022 klo 11.59
@Venti does it work? Compatibility report says that it's outdated, but for me the mod works fine?
MaestroII 4.7.2021 klo 9.21
It works if you start a new map but i don't know it will refund for existing maps.
Manu 30.4.2021 klo 22.19

Boss -> build. Damn autocorrect
Manu 23.3.2019 klo 14.00
Why isn't this incorporated already? When you boss a City you plan King term. It'd be the first City building game that considers it. Actually it would be great if you could blueprint your city
pvt TOAST 1.7.2018 klo 20.48
should have been the way the game worked "off the shelf"
Ángel 25.5.2018 klo 16.45
Is this updated for patch 1.10 (Parklife)?
Venti  [tekijä] 28.3.2016 klo 12.09
I just tried it with Snowfall, and it works just fine. Nothing has changed in the modding API as far as I can see. I'm guessing the reason it's not working for you is that some other mod is changing the refund amount. Nothing I can do about that through the modding API, as the API isn't all that well thought out.

Train and metro tracks don't get refunded, and it's not easy to refund them in a robust way because the only thing differentiating them from the stations is the price. I don't see this as a major problem though, and I'm sure someone has made a 100% refund everything mod which would include the tracks.

It doesn't appear to work from the comments I read here, is that the case? I have both DLCs
iadnab 22.2.2016 klo 20.39
not working here afer I get the snowfall
Melvin 21.2.2016 klo 11.13
Does it work with snowfall?
Parasol 20.2.2016 klo 16.19
It does work with AD.
Elmer Fudd 9.11.2015 klo 16.46
strangely enough it doesnt work with AD or network extension roads
Havan_IronOak 27.9.2015 klo 16.05
Great MOD. Given that the drawing tools in the game aren't perfect. (and neither am I) this mod is perfect for me.

Any way to extend it to railroads as well?
KmR 26.9.2015 klo 10.24
Nice mod. It doesn't work with bridges unfortunately.
Ferret 26.9.2015 klo 1.17
@Tomwa: Nicely said. That is exactly why I want this mod. Feels much more like a city-sim this way.

"i honestly don't remember any government getting paid for destroying a road they placed :p"

I can't think of anytime a government mis-clicked and placed a highway through a residential district.

You are of course free to do it the way they do:

- Plan your roads for months a head of time
- Hire professionals to plan your roads using costly external software.

I'd rather just play the game.

Compatible v1.1.0
Pcav 5.5.2015 klo 13.01
It seems that the money that you get refunded are jsut there, not able to be used? :S
KevinLancaster 14.4.2015 klo 17.52
It doesn't seem to work with roads placed before a save point.
NotTheMama 14.4.2015 klo 13.12
great mod ..."it will never do anything else" yet i will give it a try XD will u extend this with buildings and relocation costs? then it would be totaly perfect. still a great mod nevertheless
ReginaRC 12.4.2015 klo 11.02
I had to come back and post a huge "THANK YOU" for this! I always make a lot of mistakes while road building and with this mod my Cims no longer have to pay for my ineptness!
Sergio 6.4.2015 klo 15.05
Yes!!! Finally!
Mirriky 31.3.2015 klo 6.45
Thank you so much. I lost my first three cities from road building early on and trying to get things right

Thank you for this.

Sorry, can't say for sure. It did work with proper hardness when I tried it, but it really depends on the order in which the game calls the mods. When two mods implement OnGetRefundAmount they both get called in succession and this mod needs to be the one called last.

I had a look at the disassembly of the plugin and economy managers, and the mods are called in the order in which they are instantiated, which appears to be random. So it might work and then break again when you add or remove mods. Until someone mods the plugin manager it self or Colossal Order fixes it, I can't guarantee this will work with other mods fiddling with the refund amount.
soranya 22.3.2015 klo 10.47
Thank you for the answer :)
soranya 21.3.2015 klo 7.56
Does this worktogether with Balance Mods like Proper Hardness?
Krauser 21.3.2015 klo 1.49
Nice
