@GreyAbyss I know this is late text but what do you mean by how to play with friends using mods?

do you mean this mod? or any mod in general?

because if it's the: how to play with friends with any mod in general?

Then what you do is go to custom world put in the mods, place the player setting to as many players as you want, the tag below the slider is to choose if you want the world to be accessible to friends or invite only or just yourself, and when your friends join, their game will automatically download the mods to join your world.

@Kevin!!! : Unfortunately I don't know what is in your save game that may affect the game like that. Even lower end PC's can struggle with certain aspects of the game.
As it stands, KeenSWH is continuously improving the game performance.

My game just kinda stops responding everytime i go a a bit fast. never did that before. is this also due to the game's last major update of using multithreaded physics?

Just to confirm, it looks like the stability issue is still there.
It does look like it's improved a little for some ships, but a small fighter with a connector added will freak out abover 200 m/s.

Yep, the new update has made my shuttle flying hell. Barrel rolling and flips past 200 m/s. No more fast long trips..... I thought it was my computer doing funny things and was about to do a reinstall. Now I will complain to Keen about it.... Thanks for the heads up, because your mod made the game great. Now I feel like I am stuck in first gear.... reminds me of the Garry's Mod updates... everytime a developer releases an update... it can break the add-ons. I wish the developers would take this more seriously, because add-ons like this really make the game play an amazing experience. Thank you for your effort in making add-ons.

@HerWonZiemniak : this happened due to the major update Keen released with multi threaded physics. I've read similaur complaints on all other maximum speed mods. I can only recommend that you log a bug with Keen.
The number one thing I keep hearing from Keen, is if no one is complaining, then it isn't an issue.
So you must make sure you log it with them through the appropriate channel to log bugs, and make sure they understand in detail what it is you do, and what game you are playing when it occurs.

Great mod but I have a problem, when accelerate with small ship at around 200 - 220 m/s my ship starts to rotate randomly and slow down about 50 m/s even with thrusters truned off... Any idea how to solve this problem ?

@Entemega : This mod does not run in the background doing any calculations. It only chages the configuration for maximum ship speed when you load the game. At no other point does it do anything, so it cannot directly affect Sim speed.
It is more likely you have another mod, like an Atmosphereic Drag mod that does not react well when maximum ship speed is more than 100.
I can check for any incompatibility issues if you can send me a copy of the world you are having trouble with, or a list of all mods you are using.

This mod is currently producing me a huge decrease on the Sim Speed (01.172 STABLE). When moving (>0m/s) Sim Speed goes down like hell. Mod removed. Sim Speed always 1.0. It happens in space and in planets. Please check. Greetings!

I can confirm the issue with the jetpack essentially the issue is that the player cannot accelerate past 111m/s but if the player is already moving past 111 the mod behaves normally. there is probibally a limiter somewhere you need to remove

Also the players walking speed needs to be looked into as above 111 m/s they cant walk inside a moving grid which makes no sense because unless there is constant acceleration a player inside a moving ship would not feel any sense of speed nor be pushed against the back wall

and i have another quite scary issue to add

when a ship accelerates to max speed ocasionally all the ships thrusters will simply shut off and there is no way to re engage them short of reloading the world

I apologize, I was wrong. For some reason it wasn't affecting my jetpack speed, but getting in a ship seemed to fix it. Thank you for the help though!

@Nic_man (Solus) Kenas Elhas Tyr : please recheck that you have correctly added the mod to your game world.

If it is still there, then you may need to use Windows Explorer and to the following path:
%appdata%\SpaceEngineers\Mods
Then delete any files beginning with this mod number, 380164935.

There should only be two of them.
380164935.sbm
380164935.sbm_midspace.Speed1000

When restarting your game, is should automatically download the mod again.

Max jetpack speed is always higher than ship speed.
It's the only one that cannot be modded, as it is derived from ship speed.
