would've been nice if the whole 'disables several late-game mechanics' thing was included in the description, or if the fork that fixed it still existed. it kinda sucks spending hours trying to troubleshoot a bug just to find out someone did it on purpose.

i mean giga still works with system scale, the mega structure models just break
You can remove this mid play through Im pretty sure.
I't will break ai attack ranges on giga craft tho, and any weapons added by giga wil also not have there ranges balanced.

Wasnt aware this removed attack moons and such. Been trying to build them only for them to disappear... I agree that's a deal-breaker. Had I known I would have just removed system scale.

I'm not sure if it's just my load order, but the ringworlds are all screwed up, some sections are big, and clumped together, and some are tiny but far apart. Also, the matter decompressor is way to big.

Thanks for working on this friend!, I value the time you've put into this. Is there any way the reactors for asteroid artillery and attack moons can be fixed? Or something one could do in their files to re-enable them even if buggy?

@akdude2000, same. I am too dumb to do what tony_sm does or even follow his instructions haha.

It might be best to hope he (or someone else with the Real Space team) picks it up after the next round of updates. That, or some one posts a guide for dummies like me lol

doesnt work. ringworlds are bugged, gas giants wit iggdrasyl complex not rendering properly, etc. if someone knows how to fix this, please help

Since this patch removes the reactor for attack moons, asteroid artillery, system crafts, and behemoths - it's a no from me. Sucks, I love real space/system scale but it just simply is not worth the cost of losing the best gigastructers the mod has to offer.

@akdude2000 There is another existing version up with my name on it. I'm happy to give it away to someone that wants to take this in another direction. I would be happy to help too. I do see that there is more than one direction for this mod to go. And re-enabling everything seems to be one of those directions.

sorry, was not really my intent. Mainly i was a bit frustrated because from what i could find i thought it said maginots moons and ast arty was disabled due to balancing reasons, which was frustrating.

Would it be at all possible to have them left in in there broken state, and just have a popup or sub mod to turn them off, or vice versa?

Let me be as brutally honest as I can be. No one tried to deal with those busted assets, and the rest of the issues that made the last version, a left for dead. Everyone now has their ideas, and even forks once these things were fixed. So once the real work is done, it's a free for all? And no one asks, they demand, or just do. What am I missing? This is an attitude I have not seen before on anything else I have worked on.

I had previously created a mod to re-add moons, maginots, asteroid arty, and decrease range of the crisis strike craft, and a few other small tweaks. My mod was based on tony_sm's work and and they asked me to remove my mod so I did.

@Lone Soviet. Then just run Real Space without ships in scale, and system scale. And run Gigas, but not this mod. It would be just fine

The moons now have reactors but no combat computers so they still can't be built I'm not sure if this is intentional but I thought I should let you know.

i tried using your mod, but the asteroid artillery doesn't work. Sometimes it just deconstructs and then I can't use the spot for anything else.
