Check original mod, I will delete any further questions related to the original mod
Also, I was using a bigger modpack.
On further testing it seems, this bug was caused by another mod, and if I remove all other irrelevant mods, then I can use the oxygen tank as expected, and it works correctly again.
I'm very sorry for disturbing you, as it's not the fault of the overhaul mod after all.
I'm doing some further testing, as I'm not sure which of the other mods caused the issue, and I'll write here which was the culprit.
I think it might be of interest of other users, who might use both of these. Or maybe the information can be mentioned in the description or some sort of a FAQs or known incompatibilities
Did you put an oxygen tank in the hazmat ?
https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Hazmat_Suit
Ask the original mod author, not me
Situation: I’m standing in the radioactive zone, wearing a hazmat suit, from the vanilla game
Expectation: I get less radioactivity, than if I wore nothing.
What happens: I get the same amount of radioactivity, as if I wore nothing.
I tested it standing in the same point, for x time. Once wearing the suit, once wearing nothing.
The relevant radioactivity settings were set to 0.9
Interestingly enough, it works as expected with the gas mask, it reduces the radioactivity.
I might be wrong. Do you think I might be missing something, or doing something wrong?
I don't understand why you report such a thing, when it has nothing to do with my mod, again, and you are already aware of the option for it
Protections are not 100% efficient, even the hazmat. You can change that in the sandbox options
I still get the same radiation as if I had nothing on. Do you know what could be causing it or what information I need to help me figure it out?
And all this in MP
Definitely not one of my best mods lmao, this is a simple addon that adds more features to an already existing mod that did LITERALLY 99% of the work. If I had to chose one of my best mods it would simply be The Last of Us Infected easily and nothing else lmao
That's a good idea but I can't put a date when I'll actually work on that because this mod is secondary priority in my mods. Issues with the counters are from the base mod
https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3269061047
Because there is natural drain of protections by default
Understandable yeah, the mod is truly hardcore and isn't fitting for every players. The use of geiger counter and such is mandatory to play this mod. I'll implement something to see the zone once I come back to the mod but rn getting back to my principale project of reworking The Last of Us Infected :)
Only hazardous zones ? Like keep the overhaul ? That's not possible
But if you mean removing hzazardous zones AND my overhaul I don't know. I would assume yes but make a backup in case
Np :)
Character have from 1 minute sick and dye 1-2 hour
Can explain some one what happening?
No idea, check the base mod page, my mod is only an addon to it
Hmm idk shit about this field so might have to ask others who know more about this
I have no idea how the original mod handles the map thing and I haven't played the mod enough to see what's to change
and make it use regular map instead
