Seems you haven't fixed the issue yet. As below:
xcv_mdlc_policies.txt
You need to delete line 241 which is just an x on its own.

I'm rooting for you, Archmage! I look forward to when you can get a fully working build(whatever features it may have) uploaded for 3.10 :D

Looks like there is a stray character in common\policies\xvcv_mdlc_policies.txt, line 241.
I had an issue with an odd bit of extra broken text at the bottom of my policies list. Removing that character cleared the issue.

So far I've got the original mod working without crashes or the bugs this one has, but the leader assembly screen and master intelligence screens are bugged to hell. Not crashing, but also not working. Going to be a lot of editing of leader classes, subclasses, and traits there.

Policies seem broken, weird programming gibberish in my policy menu and the policies related to ascension perks in this mod are unavaliable.

@willispower812 that lag was previously caused doe to the nanobot trait. Its applied as a world modifier instead of whatever Budding is vanilla wise, so it causes more lag tahn budding and AI weigh it very heavily. So any AI making robots will have it and it causes lag since it calculates per pop isntead of how budding works.

Alerting you, it appears this mod will cause lag for whatever reason, was notcing as I was doing a playthrough with it that the game got extra laggy, then I started a new one and it remained laggy to an extent, being jumpy

@Teachtaire It's normal to not be able to build cooling districts if you already have enough cooling for 100% planet efficiency. If your planet has the thermal throttling debuff, then you should be able to build cooling to get back to 100%, and then not be able to build more. If your planet is getting thermal-throttled and still can't build cooling, that's a bug.

I placed this in my load order there the original was but a few of the bits don't seem to work. For instance the perk where they die and come back. So not sure if it's the code or if it needs to be moved around in the load order. I do play with a lot of mods and have started two new games trying to work out what needs to be done. Not sure what help I can be. But if you need anything more specific please let me know..
Teachtaire 9 Jan, 2024 @ 6:50pm
I'm not able to build cooling system districts - is this intentional?

so glad to see a version of the mod coming back, as a MI main I find this to be essential, thanks for keeping it "alive"
willispower812 8 Jan, 2024 @ 4:18pm
I need you to know you are a life saver and I absolutely am grateful for your work
Kryzen 7 Jan, 2024 @ 5:16am
or make this mod compatible with the Production Revolution mod, which will help solve performance problems
Kryzen 7 Jan, 2024 @ 5:10am
well, the fact that someone continued to support the mod is already good, but I hope those functions that were removed may return over time, so good luck in the development of the mod
Archmage MC 6 Jan, 2024 @ 2:14pm
Ah, so thats why there are 3 broken lines of code inside the policy list.
Ravencroft 6 Jan, 2024 @ 6:19am
You have a little issue with xcv_mdlc_policies.txt
You need to delete line 241 which is just an x on its own.
Flying_Squid_999 5 Jan, 2024 @ 6:18am
Thank you SO MUCH for making this effort. I'll run this in my next playthrough and test.

@Ambi Looking at the file size, standalone.
Ambi 5 Jan, 2024 @ 4:25am
thanks for your work champ, is this a standalone mod or origin mod required?
Archmage MC 5 Jan, 2024 @ 12:15am
Finally, I'll do a playthrough with my standard stuff and tell you what I find. But I will say, removing the leader assembly stuff was a smart idea. It was always super, super buggy.
Shadowke76 4 Jan, 2024 @ 11:02am
my most favorite mod is back. thanks!!!
Liobuster 2 Jan, 2024 @ 8:13am
any chance you will manage to rebuild/re-add leader assembly? that was the best part of the OG mod
Ragnarok 2 Jan, 2024 @ 6:50am
Can I implement this in a save game? I thought the original was fine so I probably need to replace it.
Quasiguide  [author] 1 Jan, 2024 @ 1:03pm

ForsakenEcho 31 Dec, 2023 @ 7:32pm
Ah... a true hero here.
The Dank Lord [GER] 31 Dec, 2023 @ 5:06pm
Awesome dude!
I hope you will learn a tiny bit about modding while maintaining this mod so you can improve it and fix the still existing bugs (There is a game breaking on
I'm simply too lazy for it
Xelan 30 Dec, 2023 @ 11:52pm
really appreciate the effort, I hope this is here to stay  Would be even better if someone with modding experience could join, so things like core customisation can be fixed.
