That's fair. Still kinda sad though as I enjoy frameworld quite a bit (I like building tall versus wide and frameworld is peak that imo). Thanks for the info regardless. Crazy to see the level of reworks we got in general for pops/districts/jobs with 4.0

@kman11000: There's nothing concrete, but last I heard, Frame will be near the end of the todo list due to how it needs to do a lot of changes with districts and zones. Zones are also really difficult to mod currently without compatibility issues, so it 100% has to wait until PDX fix that

Figured it would take a bit but they are skipping frameworld in 4.0 and doing it in 4.1? I'm not in anything that gets info for their times/progress (usually use mod comments for it but Giga's is off).

Is work already ongoing towards getting Frameworlds + their related goodies updated to 4.0? I figure it is a nightmare given how much 4.0 changed pops + jobs + districts and wish any working on it lucky in sorting through it all.

@Graepix: Great idea, I have some funny ideas. Sadly I am quite busy for the next few months, and with 4.0 on the horizon, I'm freezing active development until then (since I'll have to rewrite everything then). But it is 100% going on my todo list

I'm probably the only person who'd ever use this feature, but would it possible to make it so that pre-sapients could be relocated to the frameworld? You can't abduct pre-sapients and frame outposts just destroy them, so there's currently no way to get non-devolved pre-sapients on the frame.

Thanks for the console command. I hadn't integrated any megas at this point and I had only been doing normal frameworld upgrades. I had the option to build a grand archive at the frameworld but I hadn't started it. I think suspect the grand archive or the planetary wonders mod was causing the issues, as I hadn't had this problem on previous runs and those were the only new things I was playing with.

@Tibs: That means that one of the flags wasnt properly removed. Have only the planet UI open and then type this console command 'effect remove_planet_flag = frameworld_upgrade' . That will fix the issue. What was the last mega that you integrated / last frame upgrade?

For some reason I can't integrate megastructures. Says 'Requires no major upgrade project in progress' but I have no upgrades in progress. Not sure if other mod causing issue

@Salem727: Strange, I did a lot of my testing in the past as an individualist machine, I can confirm the issue in a bit, but its 99.9% not something on my end, as daemonic incursion is in charge of all the setup.

Yeah it's only showing overtuned if my species has the machine trait regardless of gestalt or not.

yes, ive got the mbrain deposit on the frameworld. and its not that important. im tempted to abandon the game becasue a) the frameworld lags so much and b) i can only produce so little super tensile material.

i also found out how to use the celestial forger, there's just no way to use it in frameworld system for extra NDB goodness because i cant click the black hole :D

@Jeor Mormont: Its difficult to diagnose problems in the steam workshop comments, I can help you more easily in the Gigastructures discord, I have a subchannel there for this mod.

But for the mbrain district: can you confirm if there is an Mbrain planetary feature on the frameworld once the megastructure upgrade is complete (aka the label for the megastructure is gone)

For the research district: this is a voidframe question, and I havent heard of issues upgrading as long as the frame is properly upgraded as a whole.

presumably, the research district also doenst upgrade to the delta tier now. i also cancled the decision for the DM capital upgrade once (because i wanted to see how the imperial palace looks) and then the decision was also gone. had to fire the acot test event for the upgrade

@Jeor Mormont: I don't touch the planetary outpost output. I think there was a patch that hid the output on the map, but you hover the outpost itself it shows the output in the tooltip. I just tried this in my modded save.

The celestial reforger is in ACOT's re-imagining project stuff i think.

@Jeor Mormont: I only found about the ACOT stuff recently, look up 'celestial forgers' in the ACOT discord.

As for the planet dismantling, I dont remember if they ever changed it, or if it was like that way from the beginning.
what?? in the homesystem? simce when. ive been playing acot since forever and literally never come across it.

btw. it's my first time playing the frameworld for some time, was the dismantle planet decision removed and or locked behind the celestial assembly AP? i can only expand the frameworld via decision/ influence right now

@Westrian: Yeah, its a difficult line to thread. Frame and Knights both have penalties to pay early, with big payoffs later, so combining them naturally exaggerates both their strengths and weaknesses. Its not something I can change without going against the concept and 'balance' of knights

I removed the knights per pop because it was simply busted, but I think they are in an ok place for now, simply because a knight job becomes really efficient per pop once the quest is around 40% complete.
