Hello Sarg

I read that now seems possible use a debugging tool on 1.6 for save map buildings on xml, and if I understood well these would go in to vanilla map gen.

I wonder if it can be used to expand this mod or another vanilla expanded increasing the beauty of vanilla gen expanded in general (not only town).

Or if is not usable with this purpose.

It will display a bounding box once it is placed by selecting it. Unfortunately it can't display that box moving with the mouse when a location for it is being chosen, only after placed

ah ok...once i pick it up to place...how do i see the outline of the structure to be able to deploy it correctly? rn i just see the circle and it deploys not exactly where i would want it. thanks so much Sarg for the help and mod.

Ordering should make a droppod deliver the building either near the prefab catalog, or wherever you have placed a prefab delivery spot

how do i actually place these? i have the option to order or export. i am in godmode and have the option checked in the mod options to be able to place w/o silver but when i click on the structure and go to place there is nothing.

i'm sure i'm just being blind but if someone can help me i'd really love to place a temple. thank you!

I'm sorry, it's not something I'm interesting in adding. Any change made to a mod means hours I can't spend doing something I see as more useful for another mod. It's a zero sum game.

Well, i get your point but i build my 1.2 mod list new (the old one was somewhat popular: https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2295724271 ) and it is not because me.
People will ask and it will hit the gaming immersion. That kind of things add up.

Hm, i want this with the blueprint mod but only as helper. There should be no way to buy it. I had setup it to non console but there is no way to remove the "silver" button, or? I just want and need the "export" only button. Can that be added or have i overseen something.

To report back - i used Drag-Sorting https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3439730927 with it and moved the prefab button to the blueprint tab .. .worked like a charm

How did you determine which prefab was worth various orientation and not others?

I find it to be a very blocking point for colony design.

the prefab placer thing should serve as a column, otherwise it's impossible to place big prefabs under mountain roofs

Fix: Prefabs should never stack on caravaning screen
Fix: Prefabs will now always be built belonging to the player faction, even on hostile maps (this change requires an updated VE Framework, if you get errors, your VE Framework is not properly updated)

It seems any military/turret based prefab you take to an enemy zone and activate spawns the turrets all as hostile. If spawned in your own base tile it's perfectly fine.

When trying to take on a caravan they are showing up on the item list as the same: Small base on the go. versus the actual names of what was purchased.

I have a dispute with the non-rotateability of the prefabs. Namely, the 3-lane road is not rotate-able, but also doesn't have cardinal directionality buttons, so will only deploy in a E-W orientation.
