Hellow people - for everyone who have the "chunks white color bug" - check if you use the Sense Of Depth For Tall Buildings mod! If you disable the chunks in the mod settings of sense of depth you may solve it and the storage looks perfectly fine again ^.^ Maybe @soul could add this as an "soft inkompatibility" or sth. like that in the description?:)

Would you consider making the items in the cloth and wooden baskets be hidden inside them instead of sitting oddly on top of them? Or is there a setting existing to make this so? All other storage i can put contents in, with an amount number at the bottom.

Just wanted to drop a note to say this is my favorite storage mod. I adore the texture variety and the way it shows what's inside whenever possible. I don't mind my storage taking more physical room (due to the exclusive storage mechanics) if the appearances of the storage items are this cool, and I'm eagerly (but patiently!) looking forward to your plans for more tech levels.

why the stockpiles that only accept wood for example do not start with wood checked on? I have to build it then set it to allow wood, even when wood is the only thing that is allowed there. The same is true for the haypile, stacked chunks, and textile bundles

The lumber storing is a compatibility bug between the two mods due to the way Expanded Woodworking works. It is not the intended behavior.

This mod looks great! But I wasn't aware any mods added new wooden logs BESIDES Expanded Woodworking? It feels really weird for a neolithic tribe to store lumber at all.

Flour isn't vanilla. We don't have extensive mod compatibility yet.

Yes, we are still developing the mod. Most of the reported bugs arise from incompatibilities, which are not on our end. Therefore, the best we can do is wait for the authors of those mods to fix the issues.

Running into an issue where the stacked chunks don't color based on the stuff they're made of. They're all just stark white.
Otherwise, hell yeah I can't wait for the future sets!

also, is there a way to reset the textures of an object? the Stacked Chunk is really messed up and a.) doesn't say I have the chunks even if I do, and b.) displays a broken white color no matter what stone type is used to build it.

Will the medieval version have a meathook? I'm looking to stop using Reel's adaptive storage mod since it feels pretty overtuned and turns items I'd rather not be storage into storage, but afaik it's the only adaptive storage mod that adds a meathook :c

Having an issue with the wood piles. We can build them, but pawns refuse to put wood in them.

All storage objects need to be passable to prevent the standing bug / 10 Jobs tick; It happens when pawns can't get to a certain section of storage.

Incompatible with a mod called sense of depth. That mod breaks this one's textures. Though I will just uninstall that other one, but thought it was nice for you to create a flag.

@Rohzdear on that note, the mentioned incompatibility has been reported by multiple other mod incompatibilities and I believe Bradson is looking into the issue.
Don't ask when the fix will come. It will be ready when it's ready.

@Rohzdear CE changes a lot of aspects of the game that most modders simply cannot account for or won't bother to do due to the amount of possible additional work required. If I remember right, the Stacked Chunks won't change color while using CE, but you can check it for yourself.
The reason why its the CE team or community's responsibility to make patches for other mods is because our mod has nothing to do with CE. Our only responsibility is to make it work with vanilla. We can't go over every popular mod out there to check if it works or not and to what degree.

Why is this incompatible with CE? Is it the Cover the new storage building provide? I know the CE team is in charge of adding compatibility for other mods.

@Braincell that should only be possible when having some sort of corrupt install. If you used rimpy or rimsort, manually delete the mod folder there and then resubscribe to have steam download a clean new copy. Make sure GPU drivers are up to date or at least installed too

I found the cause of the white texture. it's a soft incompatibility with "Vanilla Factions Expanded - Tribals".

the Sense of Depth incompatibility makes it have two weird layers.. but there is one more incompatibility with one of the vanilla expanded mods that makes it have one white layer, I'm investigating trying to narrow it down.

it took more time than I wished but after extensive testing of 400+ modlist I found the culprit.

to me the incompatibility was with "Sense of Depth for Tall Buildings" mod.

going into that mod's settings, and disabling the sense of depth for the stonepiles added by this mod fixed it for me.. hope this helps others.

@bradson - maybe you can add this info in the soft incompatibilities description so it remains visible for others after this comment gets buried.

also I have to mention that lately I've tried every storage mod in the workshop, and to me this and Basic Storage are the best ones. can't wait for other modules. your work is much appreciated!

have anyone discovered which mod might be the culprit for making the stone piles from this mod appear white instead of the material color?

I've been trying to pin it down to no avail.

There is no documentation listing all variants, but the github page has the textures as png in the Textures folder. Defs/StorageBuildings/LargePot/GraphicsDef.xml has the selection logic for textures

1) Would LOVE to see more modules for different tech/styles! I love this mod :D Perfect for fresh starts in tribal mode.
2) Is there documentation anywhere of all the different textures the pot can show depending on what's stored in it? I've found maybe like... 6. LOL (love it btw, makes for a lot of unique and varied storage aesthetics.)
