Where do I craft ammo for the vehicles? I feel like I've searched every crafting bench but still see no ammo or shell options

So small thing - while it's very funny that they can, I feel like very young children(4 yo in my case) shouldn't be able to drive the vehicles just as well as adult pawns. I feel like preventing children younger than 7 yo from driving is quite logical.

vehicle framework does not and probably will not work with multiplayer for a long, long time

I'm having the same issues as drsavagethe1, i cannot seam to target a landing spot for any tile that is already loaded. mod worked fine for several days straight, until now

I find it a little strange the actual fuel consumption rate isn't specified, unless I missed it somewhere. Speed is detailed as c/s, but fuel is just left vague on each graphic.

Is there a setting I can adjust so vehicles can drive over mountains on the map? I always set up base in mountains and it always says no valid exit.

Hmm I actually removed both, gonna test it out when I have time, and file it... But i'm still playing on 1.4 since the save is old, could be that

Removing this mod fixes it? Or removing the vehicles framework?

Anyone else having the map not loading when selling your colony to do the arcotech ending? Removing this mod seems to fix it, also, adding it back after the map loads, apparently dont break nothing

I am having a strange error where I can fly the ariel vehicles only to other faction bases, but cannot land at other titles or world event sites, just faction bases. Also, I am unable to click on any tile that is loaded (colony or loaded camp), which prevents me from bringing any aerial vehicles home.

I checked the logs, but there are no logs to indicate an error. I wanted to check if other people were experiencing the same issue (possibly a mod conflict) and if they had found a way to resolve it. Love the mod, want to keep playing with it.

Just a suggestion, but right now ghouls and mechanoids can't be selected when forming a vehicle caravan, should probably fix that.

Is there an option to prevent pawns to repair or resupply started vehicles?
Moving vehicles can scare them off but they always turn back and repeat same stupidiness

I just reloaded the save where I finished constructing the Tank and now it decides to move as it should. I am so confused right now...

Found a Flame Tank Wreckage while on a quest. Decided to fix it since it was really close to my base. After it was ready I wanted to move it to my colony. For some reason the thing didn't move at all. I was somehow able to get it back home by sending my pawns via caravan. Upon arival the Tank appeared out of nowhere like the pawns were driving it the entire time. I still can't move the thing despite it being not broken and me starting the engine with a driver.

I sent out a vehicle caravan, and when it stopped at its location, the map did not generate and my game crashed.

@sheesh your issue is most likely to do with a sun blocker on your map. not sure if it's intentional or not but you cannot use vehicles if there's a sun blocker in radius of your base/takeoff point

is this mod low-key broken? the vehicles just refuse to move on the world map. "launching" the helicopters does nothing. they just get on the world map and dont move. making car caravans does nothing. the car exits the settlement and than just doesnt move too. is the mod broken? i need and explanation.

So, I cant include ghouls in vehicle caravans, either as passengers or not. Nor can I make them board vehicles

caravan vehicle refuses to actually accelerate my pawns
it's almost as if the game doesn't recognise I have a vehicle, a truck which is fully operational and manned by capable pawns, no one is disembarked. Please see my photos and check time spent in route. Many hours on the way but almost no movement. It started acting up recently, after I added sidearms mod and maybe also the imperial faction mod. Also, I believe the issue might be connected to the winter or the amount of pawns i have. but this has NEVER happened before even when I added powerful mods et cetera. The side weapons of my pawns got stuck inside the car cargo. Please see photos in my profile and help me. I feel so sad about my poor colony.

I can't use my vehicle (roadrunner) as a caravan. It says something akin to there is no path. My base aint close to a road, but i'm in a temperate forest tile. What do i do? Can i only use flying vehicles?

Great mod it's freaking crazy with the workshop screenshots AUTOSCROLLING however gets kind of annoying sometimes when you just want to see ONE WITHOUT having to click on them and the Toad bugged once landing on insect hive but it worked for a quest so that's nice lol crazy with that sometimes and They mentioned being able to purchase vehicles FOR T4 that would be nice if you could purchase MINIFIED vehicles or something, there are so many freaking car parts it is tedious sometimes with the garage bench to reset all the bills to make all the parts hahah but thanks for your work on the mod cheers :D

since i usually play tribal runs, i was thinking, if there is a way to add vehicles to the things caravans sell? i think it would be pretty cool if some car salesmen showed up from time to time

Fantastic mod of course, HOWEVER is there a reason cars like Hermano bug out and can't be driven or move at all with a driver while doing quests like worshipful village? When the villagers go hostile the car won't move at all which is extremely strange and sadly sometimes defeats the purpose of using vehicles lol it otherwise works well but found the strangest bug if it's even that, there's no red error text lol. @chrisque1 If it doens't move, try enabling the option to "auto-drive" without colonists in the the mod settings. A lot of the times a save->reload does the trick

Any know mod conflict that cause that the vehicle cant be drive? Yes I got a lot of mods. Yes could be anyone. Yes it has gas.? Yes its turn on. No Im not blaming the mod creators. Tnxs for the help

The big issue with vehicles is that pawns loaded as cargo can't eat. It means if you have an animal or baby in a long trip they will starve even if you have a litral truck full of food.

Hi, I have been trying to use artillery vehicles such as the scytherman but it appears that shots always land way before reaching the target, midway more or less, I am using combat extended and id like to know if this issue is due to CE or if its a known bug with any fix

Why are my colonists obsessed with loading chemfuel into bulldog? they put 600 chemfuel into it and they still put it all into it if i make more.

@Edgar Santiago came to say the same thing; Even though the fix is loading for me (Save -> Load Game -> Launch and Land Mosquito.... on the way back save and repeat). I was hoping somebody knows of an easier way to do this. Also if choosing to land in an unknown map, caravan gets deleted. Since my game takes a long time to load - as well as weverybody who has a huge modlist - its very impractical

So this has already happened to me twice, when I launch the mosquito to a destination and it generates the map to select the landing position, the green icon for landing does not appear and if you click on a location, the caravan gets deleted with all your pawns and cargo, the log does not show anything weird so at the time I´ve lost like 6 pawns and 2 mosquitoes in this way, not sure what it is causing it

Hi, I have a problem with colonists starving when they are like a caravan on the world map. I use roadrunner. The passengers sleep normally at night but neither (passenger and driver) want to eat. Is there something I haven't noticed (like allowing food on the road) or is it a bug?
