the Frisian mt is broken, when you form magna frisia it only gives one more mission and just removes a majority of the mt since the entire middle side just vanishes
Shotyew 17 Feb @ 6:54pm
I think the beaver fur trade mission is bugged. its counting provinces that dont even produce fur as eligible for the mission, but no matter how many fur provinces I own, it will not count 3 and will not allow me to complete the mission

I seriously adore your mod but unfortunately I'm having the same issue as Alpacalypse below, where both the Bataafs Republic and the Erfstadhouder Monarchy reforms are immediately repealed. I've tried to fix it myself for quite a while but can't seem to figure it out.
Valhalla 14 Nov, 2024 @ 4:24pm
Stage a dutch revolt decision doesnt do anything, it just lets me choose my new government system
Alpacalypse 11 Sep, 2024 @ 11:45am
Actually, both government reforms from that mission are broken.
Alpacalypse 11 Sep, 2024 @ 11:41am
The Statists Republic mission for the Netherlands is bugged. Selecting the Statists' event option to form the Bataafs Republic does nothing, as the Bataafs republic gov't option is instantly repealed when the option is chosen. I've tried this as Stadtholder monarchy and as Dutch Republic, and it's being done without the Winds of Change DLC.
Also, going Anabaptist crashes the game instantly for me, but that's easy enough to ignore.
Slug 29 Jul, 2024 @ 12:46pm
sorry, i am doing this when Philip is still ruling, and Charles is his heir, not when Charles is ruling. So for some reason he is becoming my heir when I choose to rule from a local dynasty.
Slug 29 Jul, 2024 @ 12:40pm
When staging the dutch revolt before Charles death, he is made into my heir. Is this as intended? I can almost always recall having dynastic rule after this and holding off on becoming a republic until I from Netherlands. I am unable to disinherit obviously and haven't tried playing the save on to test what happens, so if I am missing something like an event firing I am unaware.

The Mod has once again been updated to 1.37.2 and should no longer have crashes as well as some bugs being fixed.
daputintsevnov 6 Jun, 2024 @ 5:12pm
Very cool mod. Anabaptism is super :)

Unfortunately, two campaigns ended due to error (March 19, 1591). I tried to launch autosaves without any other mods, but still an error occurs on March 13
EdelWeiss 2 Jun, 2024 @ 6:47am
when will you update bro :steamsad: still waiting...
Petrus - PB  [author] 23 May, 2024 @ 3:13pm
The new missions are integrated into a new mission tree which includes old and new missions and reworks to the new missions introduced in the DLC, as long as you own the new DLC.

If you don't own the new DLC, you will receive the old missions instead.
Petrus - PB  [author] 23 May, 2024 @ 3:09pm
It's mostly up to date to 1.37. Just working through some leftovers which may leave it somewhat unstable.

The Beta build is there now:

EdelWeiss 20 May, 2024 @ 2:43pm
waiting for 1.37 update
WaspX 9 May, 2024 @ 12:48am
When is this likely to be updated for 1.37?

How would you integrate this with the new mission trees and stuff for the Netherlands in the new DLC? I feel like there'd be quite a lot of overlap or things which are outdated.
Petrus - PB  [author] 23 Apr, 2024 @ 2:20pm
I've disabled the VOC estate for now, it wasn't satisfactory and now has been added to the Burghers estate.

The event not being hidden has been fixed. It is now.
Many minor bugfixes and features being introduced.

Staging a Dutch Revolt should now work as intended, might have some minor bugs however.

Some missions have some added rewards and rewards are now more clear

Lots of localisation has been added
pedro_orfismo 23 Apr, 2024 @ 7:12am
Nope it's not. There's just something about the voc province annexation showing up uninvited.
pedro_orfismo 22 Apr, 2024 @ 11:28pm
I have the same problem with the event showing up. Might it be that a mod that changes event pictures interferes? Also can you get VOC as separate estate like nobility? If so, how do you it?
Petrus - PB  [author] 22 Apr, 2024 @ 8:42am
mhh, it should be hidden.
PurplPanda 19 Apr, 2024 @ 10:36am
Every few months, I get an event that says missing localization cede every province to the voc, even though there are no currently eligible provinces. It works correctly when there are, and I think it's to do with me colonizing in the region and the event just checking for provinces there and not doing anything when they're just being colonized.
Petrus - PB  [author] 14 Apr, 2024 @ 12:25pm
Mod has been updated with some of the suggestions and notes everyone made
Talshiar 1 Apr, 2024 @ 8:44am
The mission "Zamorin of Calicut" is a little bit tough imo. By the time I get there, Calicut won't exist anymore. Vijayanagar is expanding very very quickly to his south-west coast.

Is it possible to modify the mission? Maybe by discovering the south-west coast of India, you can get some permanent claims if Calicut and so one is no more.
Talshiar 1 Apr, 2024 @ 8:31am
Some more feedback: The mission "Master of Trade" does not work correctly. My trade income is 850, and you need 100 to accomplish this mission. The tooltip for this mission is showing me a trade income of 4.219 ducats. Maybe some percentages are mixed up?
Talshiar 1 Apr, 2024 @ 8:23am
Hi Petrus - PB, great mod! Thank you for all the hard work!

Some feedback: "Monopoly on Cloves". First option: My vassals, Cologne and Dutch Colombia, should get spices in all of their provinces (tooltip), but nothing happens. They are mentioned in case they produce cloves, right? So that could cause some confusion.

The Mamluks/Ottomans benefit from this mission as well. They hold the second province out of two for cloves in the entire world. Maybe you can change that.

The second one only shows this tooltip: add_opinion_to_east_indies_nations.
Petrus - PB  [author] 26 Mar, 2024 @ 5:00pm
Mhh, I will have a look.
minddrag 26 Mar, 2024 @ 12:35pm
I'm enforcing the stadholder republic in the netherlands missions and the government refom is enacted and then immediatly abolished. The orangist one works and makes me a monarchy, the other does not.
Locutes666 12 Mar, 2024 @ 6:25am
@tokicatch it's also very useful if you wanna tagswitch away from the Netherlands or if you started as Burgundy
Petrus - PB  [author] 12 Mar, 2024 @ 6:00am
There are a few, but nothing to really look out for
Conqueeftador 11 Mar, 2024 @ 9:21pm
Are there new government reforms with this mod?
Petrus - PB  [author] 8 Mar, 2024 @ 3:39pm
Its there for whenever your country does not have access to VOC indiamen. It was a workaround for unique situations.
tokicatch 7 Mar, 2024 @ 9:11am
possible bug

the mission "found batavia" states that you will get access to the VOC indiamen naval units but i have them from the moment i embraced the tier 1 gov reform or does this mission mean your VOC subject gets the indiamen?
Man O War 25 Feb, 2024 @ 12:28pm
Ah, I had no idea about that!
Thanks for the heads up as I was wondering why my error.log book could rival war and peace for a riveting read.
Locutes666 25 Feb, 2024 @ 9:38am
First off, Europa Expanded is a single independent mod not connected with the "rest" of the Expanded series. Those Expanded series mods are not compatible with Europa Expanded.

As to Dutch Domination's compatibility with Europa Expanded, the EE team does not keep compatibility with any mods into account, as such Petrus would be the one who needs to ensure compatibility. It may at this time still be compatible, but the EE team is working on a massive(!) update that also includes in its scope the Netherlands and as such the chance that these mods become incompatible is increasing significantly
Man O War 24 Feb, 2024 @ 4:21pm
Yeah, I had the game keep crashing on 02/06/1606 tho I modded the date to avoid it but it got unstable after that. This was a few days ago tho so I think mod may have been updated as my VOC estate stopped working but was still visible as "No estate".
Petrus - PB  [author] 24 Feb, 2024 @ 11:00am
it depends, forgot to check lately, but it has had moments when it was compatible and when it wasnt. I believe it ought to be compatible. Let me know if there are issues you run into.
Aaronnum I 23 Feb, 2024 @ 9:27pm
Man O War is asking the real question here, for I have the same one as well
Man O War 23 Feb, 2024 @ 9:40am
Hey, amazing mod!!
Just gotta ask, how compatible is it with the "expanded" mods (europa expanded, ideas expanded and so on).

Thanks again, loving the mod.
Petrus - PB  [author] 19 Feb, 2024 @ 10:35am
No unique focus tree yet, it's in the works.
Underhuset 18 Feb, 2024 @ 10:01pm
Do VOC have a focus tree? Since I would love to switch to VOC.
FrostNova 2 Feb, 2024 @ 8:01am
in real time, so called '' faucet '' started in Belguim, at least in Antwerp as far as I know yet with this mod, we don't have chaance, we lost faucet event to Poland Aragon, mostly likely the turks. I kinda hope it fixed because at least it is somewhat historically not true, ( I know with faucet the dutch becomes even richer ) but still
Petrus - PB  [author] 31 Jan, 2024 @ 5:15am
Yea, I would like to have something similar. I don't like Antwerp's loss being inevitable. It was mostly due to the sack of antwerp and flight of protestants.

Though for sake of history that would be the correct way.
salatrin 30 Jan, 2024 @ 5:59pm
@Petrus - PB

I think i remember a long time ago when i played the BT(beyond typus) mod, they had a few events that started with Brugges being the main CoT and then at a certain year, Brugges declines(losing a CoT level and loss of dev) and Antwerp takes over the role(gaining the dev and CoT level that Brugges lost), and then at another point many years later, they decline as well ultimately making Amsterdam rise up to the main trade centre.

Maybe try something similar?
Petrus - PB  [author] 29 Jan, 2024 @ 5:20pm
Antwerp is meant to be Brabant's Port.
Antwerp wouldn't become the de facto center of trade of the low countries until around 1500s. Mostly due to Brugge's access to the sea silting up.

I've changed it to fish to show it wasn't as important yet, I want to modify the center of trade levels in this context as well.

Amsterdam has gotten similar treatment, it wouldn't become the major center of trade until Antwerp was sacked.

I can look into adding in a decision for owners of antwerp to make it get Glass, but if you play as Burgundy you can complete the mission for Brabant and as Flanders you ought to focus on Brugge more IMHO.
FrostNova 29 Jan, 2024 @ 8:12am
for that reason I use console to change antwerp produce glass in the first place but ..... not really interesting way to change the local good
FrostNova 29 Jan, 2024 @ 8:10am
Why is anvers(antwerp) originally producing fishes? I reckon it was a major center of diamond production already at 15th, not Constantinople nor danzig, ( barcelona too ), and it looks like? other countries except brabant cannot make Antwerp produce diamond by missions, need to wait till 1600. Is there any possibility of other dutch minors like flanders or holland do the change?
Petrus - PB  [author] 22 Jan, 2024 @ 7:59am
Ive been a bit busy,
I have to figure something out for Republican conquest of England. I personally would like to make the Republican be similar to an early French Revolution, where you can influence other nations to join.
PU doesn't make much sense and I want to add some protection for when the Orangists are in power so the union doesn't break. It is rather rough though and of course makes no sense if the dutch are statists as there is no prince of orange then.
Future: I don't mind adding in compat with Europa Expanded that is now also including NL. Disasters need help. Religion needs focus.
So there is a lot of stuff still needed, but I definitely am thinking of going for a more detailed EE is covering the same thing. So expect more Magna Frisia content, Gelren War Disaster, Peasant Estate, those kind of things. There are known bugs with UI mods compat. I've had to edit the Mission UI files, which is also something that EE has touched upon.
eqou 21 Jan, 2024 @ 10:43am
Still waiting for you to accept my request..
Archon, archoff 16 Jan, 2024 @ 8:36am
Love this mod, I always turn it on when i put on my wooden clogs for a playthrough of my favourite tall country. If i can make a suggestion it would be nice if the Republican dutch government also gained the personal union over ENG and GBR - they still have the statists vs monarchists mechanic so it makes sense, right? And it makes me feel like i'm missing out if i go republican :-(

May your polders be ever bountiful!
flappyjoefrommexico 13 Jan, 2024 @ 3:13am
any plans for the next update?
Petrus - PB  [author] 25 Dec, 2023 @ 7:22pm
Oh sure. That sounds good. I have not seen the issue on my end, but I know that since 1.36 that there were some issues with other mods not being updated fully to the newest version that caused conflicts with the mod.
