It would be great if we could dynamically unlock star domains.
Sub-light engine upgrade, slight increase in star domain range;
Hyperdrive engine upgrade, slight increase in star domain range;
Only when (wormholes, gateways, psionic tunnels) are unlocked, allowing the expansion of the stellar domain through the portals.

要是能动态解锁星域范围就好啊。
亚光速引擎升级,微量增加星域范围;
超空间引擎升级,少量增加星域范围;
直到(虫洞、网关、灵能隧道)被解锁,允许通过传送门延伸星域范围。

@Mortarch Of Blood In theory, the mod should be compatible with most available mods, since it only changes two values that are barely accounted by other mods. It should be safe launching it with Real Space :)

Is it confirmed that this is still working post-Machine Age? (If so, you should probably update the version flag so it stops showing the error icon.)

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but with really large galaxies it can actually cause a crash when the sector gets too big. Beyond a point, turning off auto-sector becomes mandatory.

Hey @Pietrooperv, the mod only extends the amount of max jumps a sector can have. I think it is impossible to create a sector without planets, so you'll have to build a habitat there when you get the corresponding tech

@Petrocchi that works in theory, but what about when you have no other planet to initially create the sector? Does this mod address that?

For those who want to create sectors with capitals less than 5 jumps apart, just create a second sector futher than 5 jumps, then move the capital and edit the sector, this way you can make ajacent systems a sector each

Though, I've recently discovered that you can untick the "auto-expand sector" option when editing a certain sector to stop it from expanding to impossible amounts, which should fix literally all issues that this mod can bring (I'm not sure if I was blind or if this was a new added feature, but hey it exists). I'll add all this info to the description as well :)

just a heads up: i'm getting a CTD whenever i lose a station in a total war. this breaks sector continuity in the late game and the game does not like it one bit

Any chance we can get an addition to remove the limitation of sector capitals having to be at least 5 jumps apart?

@fan_of_Daniil_Andreev That's weird, it should work without major issues. The mod only changes two files - 00_core.txt and 01_other.txt in common/sector_types. Unless you have a different mod that overrides these files, everything should be a-okay!
You can try disabling every other mod to check if this one works, or rearranging your playset so it's somewhere near the top

@thecrazy13 Heyy, I've looked for a way to do this before releasing the mod and unfortunately couldn't find anything that can be tweaked to do so, which can suck, especially if you're playing tall :/
This value can be hardcoded, but I'm not sure, I'll try and look into it with more detail in the future

@Kosi Hey there, I apologise but I can't really do anything about it without reducing the sector jump limit, which I don't really want to since that's the point of the mod :/
You can, however, pause the game and create a couple of new sectors, assigning respective star systems to them to avoid any sorts of glitches
(Sectors will automatically add star systems to themselves when the game is running)

graphic glitch is really annoying. Can you maybe elaborate if you know how to fix it?
I was trying to have one big main sector. Since it is my core sector I cannot delete it. I removed lots of systems and added them back again. No change to the graphics glitch.

@greatswizard Hey-a, I don't think there is one. I'm not sure if it's possible either to change that on the fly, since there are no sector-related modifiers, but you never know :)

It was completely clear that this new sector manager will still respect 4 jump limit - players should actually read DD before acting surprised/disappointed

Anyway, it's awesome that such rules are moddable, your mod will make a fine addition to my collection

Kinda figured it out. Bug with a mod - a hyperlane changed, but it wasn't reflected in the sectors, so adding/removing from sectors got weird. Nothing on your end.

would be cool if the amount that could be added scaled with civics or governor skill, since I get why they don't want people having one mega sector with a level 10 governor across all planets, but 4 jump limit is hella annoying

I really wonder why they even removed the ability to create and Edit Sectors in the first place only to reimplement it now -.-
