Report a translation problem
Thanks for letting me. I hadn't noticed that earlier. The tag has been added in the newest update!
@Das Mexikaner
Unfortunately the issue is common sometimes with servers when they abruptly stop during a mod installation. There can be other issues too, but the only way I was able to fix the issue when I had it was completely reinstalling the server.
@Vorpal Void
Issue fixed in the recent update :)
I copied the log output to pastbin to reference: https://pastebin.com/JxYhWKAT
Looks like this mod gets stuck in a loop where it tries to download an update from the Workshop and fails. I unsubscribed and resubscribed, but the issue persists.
The translation fix will be pushed on the next update
Maybe there's something else in play here, like an mod incompatibility (unlikely since two peeps had the same issue in a short time). It would be helpful if you record a video of the bug, send the bug log, or give me any additional info I can use
Kudo's and thank you for the work you do! If you need help testing, I am happy to chip in
Okay, so it's not "broken". Renaming works, but the UI element still freezes on screen. Clicking OK does not close the window.
Clicking cancel DOES
I have 2,000+ items renamed with zero issues other than this which is happening every rename action I've performed today. No names have been reset or vanish.
So click rename, rename object, click Okay (does not close window), then click cancel.
So it works still. Just a slight glitch with the window not closing when clicking OK.
MODDED ITEMS:
Some modded items will auto revert names. This mod cannot stop that. When you wear a sling, or other item that changes location, or a shirt with sleeves that roll down, etc. etc. item names will revert. Not a bug in this mod.
Whenever you rename any object, 2 errors are registered and the UI box for the renaming stays fixed on the screen.
You have to click "cancel" to back out of it.
I can assure you prior that no issues with the mod persisted on any server I have helped set this up on, and I've been using this mod without issue until today's update.
super-request a roll back. Issues with names not sticking are likely user end, not mod end.
Not yet. I was too sidetracked with other projects and mods. Anyways, I just pushed an update that hopefully should help with the issue, but I haven't had the opportunity to fully test it yet
Has the issue mentioned by j2dky been solved yet? I noticed their report was made in October 2023 and your last update was in September of 2023?
Probably accidental reference since I had to search up Stone Ocean!!
Is the issue still persistent? Perhaps its an issue from your side? I doubt its a mod-related issue
