Description
Description
Feeling lonely amidst the apocalypse? Now you can rename everything -literally- and have your own recognized buddies of inanimate items and vehicles!

... or you can just rename your containers like any sane survivor and keep your base neat and organised

Compatibility
  • Other Mods
    • Rename Containers mod by Coach - It is highly recommended that you use this mod if you're looking for the ability to only rename containers. Otherwise, it's not advised to have both mods enabled at the same time

  • Game Version - Tested and works on 41.73+. Not tested on earlier versions.
  • Multiplayer - Functional in multiplayer
  • Pre-existing saves - Can be added to your pre-existing save.

Known Bugs/Issues
  • Doesn't function as it should on Steam Deck

Thanks for letting me. I hadn't noticed that earlier. The tag has been added in the newest update!

@Das Mexikaner
Unfortunately the issue is common sometimes with servers when they abruptly stop during a mod installation. There can be other issues too, but the only way I was able to fix the issue when I had it was completely reinstalling the server.

@Vorpal Void
Issue fixed in the recent update :)

(Bad referencing, you don't put the tag B42 on your mod so when we filter b42 only it wont apeard)

Seems like "Rename stack" function is not defined in translation files. It's context:addOption("Rename Stack") in code, but context:addOption(getText("ContextMenu_renameStackButton") expected.

On B41.78.16, whenever I try to host a game, this mod is causing a "Server has stopped during launch (NormalTermination)" error. The only other mods running with it are Mod Manager and Mod Manager: Server.

I copied the log output to pastbin to reference: https://pastebin.com/JxYhWKAT

Looks like this mod gets stuck in a loop where it tries to download an update from the Workshop and fails. I unsubscribed and resubscribed, but the issue persists.

If this works for B42 you should add the Build 42 tag to it

Just fixed the translation (supposedly). I couldn't personally test it since I am doing more mod updates in B41, but please let me know if ti works correctly in B42
