@Yaomingsi https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2809011245 Found it! I had the same problem as you.
Maufla 13 Jan, 2024 @ 8:53pm
I got A problem, why every time the tram gonna get into the station, it will slow down and act like a caterpillar only move forward each time a little, while the departure act normal, much thanks
adidas.levy 7 Oct, 2023 @ 12:58pm
Hmmm something is not working.. The platform is hollow or empty.
Yaomingsi 11 Sep, 2023 @ 3:28pm
I can't seem to find the pedestrian paths that you were referring to for this station? I am using your other pedestrian assets but it still elevates the ground. Plz help
clus  [author] 5 Jul, 2023 @ 12:29am
Yes it is ... You can find the info about how it works in the "Overview Guide".
Saibotic 2 Jul, 2023 @ 5:16am
Is it possible to change the wires?
CC22A 20 May, 2023 @ 9:06pm
By the way, Clus, your link to the pedestrian pathway is not working. I can't click it on this page
Claudius Aetius 7 May, 2023 @ 12:36pm
Many thanks! :)
clus  [author] 7 May, 2023 @ 8:36am
changed ;)
Claudius Aetius 2 May, 2023 @ 7:04am
You are using "[DEPRECATED] Adaptive Networks (AN) V3.16 [DEPRECATED]", consider change this to the new updated one.
clus  [author] 5 Feb, 2023 @ 11:23pm
Hi. Cims don't walk over the rails ... as you've figured it out already, a ped path connected to the platforms is required in order to provide access. This was a design choice ... i might change that in the next update ... until then, connections to ped roads won't work (technically).
Marconius 31 Jan, 2023 @ 8:35am
Is there a good way to do crossings with this? I'm trying to make a very simple station where there's just one connecting pedestrian road, and people just walk over the tracks to get to the other side.

So far this is the best I could manage:
https://i.imgur.com/xbEoc3D.jpeg

I had to build a path under the tracks, because they wouldn't use the crossing otherwise. Tried just building a little path on the other side so they could get to the platform, but that didn't seem to work.

I also can't seem to change the appearance of the actual crossing, which was an option in other LRT roads. Also had to add a little segment with no fence, because the fence was halfway overlapping with the crossing otherwise.
Marconius 31 Jan, 2023 @ 7:21am
Where's the link for the pedestrian path? It just says LINK without an actual link...
Mr. Nigerian 2 Jan, 2023 @ 4:17pm
link for that tram
clus  [author] 27 Dec, 2022 @ 9:22am
@ StarrWulfe haha ... ;) Thank you very much for your kind words ! :)
StarrWulfe 20 Dec, 2022 @ 4:27am
@clus, you're the real MVP.

Thank you so much for your networks and constant updates!
clus  [author] 18 Dec, 2022 @ 7:54am
@all - AN stable will most likely throw you an error ... AN Alpha works fine.
clus  [author] 18 Dec, 2022 @ 7:17am
@all hello ! Just a qick FYI, I did update the "base LRT -networks". This was a "huge" update, therefore its most likely that there might be issues, which I havent found yet...
pls report anything you´ll find, which could be an issue. Thanks in advance.
I´ve also put a quick guide together in order to "explain" some added features, usable via the AN mod.

This is the hottest shit. Love it so dang much, thank you for your amazing work Clus.

Np ;)
Lyjo Fachman 29 Aug, 2022 @ 12:57pm
Hi clus, I guess I didn't read the description properly, it does say "the station tracks work with the Reversible Tram AI Mod by Sway". in which case, that's amazing, thank you for your response
clus  [author] 29 Aug, 2022 @ 2:57am
Hi.
Looping tracks, in order for the trams to turn arround, is the vanilla tram game mechanic, as you might know already ;).
...but with the help of sway's "Reversible Tram AI - mod" you can counter that...
The mod provides the train/metro "track change behavior" for trams (turn arround/change direction on a bidirectional track)
These station tracks make use of his mod, therefore, they could work as a terminus.
Lyjo Fachman 26 Aug, 2022 @ 3:25am
I noticed something strange but it makes sense. With these elevated tracks, is a looping track the only method to turn cars around? The DLR in London (for example Tower Gateway Station, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tower_Gateway_DLR_station) uses a single-track terminus for bidirectional trains.

Do you think you could consider making such a terminus station? Standard vanilla asset, just something so the termini don't resemble ground tram loops. Doesn't make sense to have such a loop elevated, takes up a lot of space, looks ugly etc.
Yozora Wickerbeast 23 Aug, 2022 @ 11:30pm
That's completely understandable. I had a hard time understanding exactly what to do based on the still images and instructions and I think something like a gif would be very helpful.

I do very much enjoy using your assets in my cities though and thank you for the hard work and dedication that goes into it.

Hope you have a good rest of the week. Stay safe!
clus  [author] 23 Aug, 2022 @ 2:45am
Hi. Sry, but from my point ot view, its hard to imagine what you've done at your end...or haven't done. ;) ... but If I'll find the time at the weekend, I might add a gif or so ... maybe that'll help.
Yozora Wickerbeast 22 Aug, 2022 @ 1:26pm
Hi, I'm having a hard time connecting the walkways you mentioned to the station. I have the station built over the road, raised 9m using Fine Road Tool. The ends of the walkways aren't disappearing and blending with the platform, or the walkways that are parallel to the tacks on the "Bridge" mode of the asset.

I have tried connecting the walkways with all three modes, and nothing seems to be working. Any help or suggestions would be very appreciated!

It's very appreciated, can't wait to see/use them sometime soon.

clus  [author] 15 Aug, 2022 @ 6:57am
Hi.
An island station(s) was/is actually planned ...
... but it'll still take some time to finish it. I am currently focusing in the completion of a lot of other unpublished work and my time is, unfortunately, very limited atm.

Regarding single versions ... I haven't thought about those, but the idea/use case is even better, than an island version. ;) I'll add it to the list. Thanks for the suggesion !
StarrWulfe 13 Aug, 2022 @ 9:23am
Any chance you could make an island version of your station tracks here? And/or a 1-way version where we can use AN to put the station on whichever side we'd like?

I'd like to make a modular passing station with LRT where diverging routes get their own platforms as seen with quad track metro and train stations.
clus  [author] 24 Jul, 2022 @ 11:09pm
Yep, these tracks could be used for that ... but those "updated" stations wouldn't look that good, because these tracks always have "extra mesh" visible ... plus the platform height is lower than on train station tracks ....
Wazdr 20 Jul, 2022 @ 7:34am
Possibly a crazy question, but can these be used with the unlock function of network multitool to upgrade station tracks in elevated train stations to make them LRT stations?
aguaacrobata 7 Jun, 2022 @ 4:29am
Excellent! Looking forward to them!
clus  [author] 6 Jun, 2022 @ 11:31pm
Np ... sometimes (as seen in this case, haha) I am not the fasted "answerer" too ... time is very limited and I am not arround here every day. ;)
Btw ... at least one of your suggestions already found its way in a "project" ... next LRT roads will have one or two grass - foundation - options ;)
arsnyan 31 May, 2022 @ 8:23am
So, in conclusion, I'm glad you've found some of my suggestions reasonable and it's okay if everything stays the way it already is now. I'm just happy you've responded. So, yeah, have a good one! :)

P.S. I do find myself being somewhat rude sometimes cause I was getting myself in situations where people find me rude when I talked in English, although to me it was fine. So that's why sometimes I do warn people about that x)
arsnyan 31 May, 2022 @ 8:21am
Hi! So, I've only just now saw these messages (thx to work :/) and I'm really glad you've replied. Thanks for sharing technical details, I guess I understand most of it. I only don't understand what's the problem with grass, cause AFAIK this game uses alpha maps to use grass on the networks, and you pretty much have networks with grass, but whatever.

I appreciate your response, it's okay if you don't want to or just find it too hard to implement these things, I guess I could one time manage to do it myself, especially since I know Blender (I just have reaaaaally low-end PC, so it's a pain in the neck to make assets for me). But also thanks for sharing technical details, it's really nice of you.

BTW, your grammar is good, English isn't my first language either hehe, and yeah, I do get how hard it is to type such long messages on the phone, since my original message was written on my phone too lol

(Part4 )
I don't publish the more complicated creations and just use them in my own city...
To cut the last part a bit shorter... even AN has its limits ... and I've almost reached them. ;) With the highways which i am currently finishing, I definitely reached AN s limits.
There were more thoughts I wanted to write down ... but its so hard to do that on a mobile ...this here took so long, that I've lost some of my thoughts during this whole writing here.
Btw ... I hope you could "literally" understand most of it here, because the damn german "auto correction" kicked in all the time ... Therefore feel free to keep my typos and grammtical issues. ;)
Kind regards
clus  [author] 29 May, 2022 @ 11:38pm
(Part 3)
... you'd need to use glass props in order to cover these networks ... that would be "okayish" to achieve an "ok" result, but it also would lead to a lot of other problems ... for example...how networks in the game handle these props.
This is something that I can t change... I don't want to go in to more details, because I am writing on a mobile and additionally there's definitely not enough space for that here in the comments section. ;)
Just to add one more thing ... The same counts for hedges btw.
So overall ... I wouldn't like the "result" of those "creations" and because this couldn be anywhere near to "ok", a lot of peoples (who don't know the details how theses things are handled by the game) would definitely complain about certain things, which in the end, I couldn solve in any way...
I try to do everything as user friendly as possible ... Thats also the reason for these very long descriptions ...
clus  [author] 29 May, 2022 @ 11:28pm
(Part 2)
So ...regarding your ideas/thoughts..
1. As you've already pointed out, I can very well publish what I want ... well and thats the strongest point of all ... because I only do what I like and especially what I want to use for my own city.
Thats the only reason why I started to learn how to "work" with blender etc. I wanted to have things, that weren't available in the WS... and I sticked to that ever since.
Thats also the main reason why I usually dont do commissions... there are ofc some exceptions to this rule ... but that's usually always the case in life. ;)
2. Technical "things" ...
The game has its limits ... sadly. :/ to give you an example ... "glass" doesn't work for networks. I absolutely would love to do any modern/glassy looking pedestrian networks, but that wont work....
clus  [author] 29 May, 2022 @ 11:19pm
Hi ! (Part 1)
First of all ... ;) thanks for your long analysis and your ideas ! I always appreciate something like that ! Thats way way better than just a "I don't like it" for example . ;)
Secondly... this is anything but rude... ;) Its straight forward and I appreciate that as well ... how would I otherwise be able to know, what you re thinking ?!
Btw ... I am not a person who feels be threatened by everything ppls are saying to me ... sadly this is the case for many peoples these times (well everybody should do what they think its best for them) and it sure prevents some persons to talk about certain and important issues, because they think that they can't do it, because they re always afraid, what the reaction of their "talking partner" could be..... but I can very well live with that and I especially think, that it is so important, to be able to speak openly with and to each other...
arsnyan 28 May, 2022 @ 4:03pm
some greenery (bushes, hedges, ivy, trees in case if it's a road asset), maybe some metal facades and stuff like this. The roofing can have lights, stained glass. All the shapes can stay the same, but the materials would differ (or have AV variation).

Pedestrian pathways have the same problem of using corrugated boards, I'd add an option with flat concrete roof (with slight incline to move water away) and option to use glass and/or railings instead of fences (like a separate AV variant)

In case of an lrt road with 1 way car lane, I would make grassy tracks and instead of using simple fences, I'd use hedges. Also, I think there should an inverted version like the one's with asymmetrical road with bike path.

If I ever sound rude please know that I didn't mean to and I ask for forgiveness in advance cause sometimes I just write things this way without understanding that it's rude.
arsnyan 28 May, 2022 @ 4:02pm
First of all, I really like your work and I'm not in the right position to judge harshly your work cause it's pretty much free assets that take your personal time and you can do whatever you want with it. But I hope you'll find these useful or reasonable to implement.

I'll start with the fact that your promenade road and 3 lane road look really modern and nice to be in. I think they're cool and they should be the least standard for your new assets. Otherwise, this is where inconsistency comes from. You have some modern assets and some (like this for example) look old and uninviting. I imagine this could be a thing irl but since you start to use AV, you could add options to make it look better.

So what I don't like about it. Well, corrugated boards, stained concrete, metal fences like in prisons. This exists in pathways assets too. I think it'd be nice to use glass, bricks, somewhat clean concrete,
clus  [author] 23 May, 2022 @ 11:28pm
@Chris6d Thanks! :)
@Buildcraftguy Sry, but I have to ask... what exactly did you do ?
This network here has stations on the grd - and the first elevation ... they're both meant to be used (connected to) with my LRT tram tracks, which can be found in the collection above ...
Buildcraftguy 22 May, 2022 @ 7:53pm
@clus, Tried using the ground version to attach to the station, still has the fence.
Chris6d 22 May, 2022 @ 3:59pm
A version with a road underneath would be awesome! Great work
clus  [author] 22 May, 2022 @ 8:37am
@BierPizzaChips
Thank you for the little tutorial you did in your epsiode. I´ve added your video to the description ... hope thats ok. :)

heres the link to his channel:

@All
The tutorial part can be found at the end of the episode.
clus  [author] 22 May, 2022 @ 8:34am
@flamasstica You could watch @BierPizzaChips s Episode ... he did a great job explaining, how these stations will work. Its explained at the end of that epidsode. :)
@Ventru These are specificially designed to be used with my LRT tracks ... you´ll find the tracks in the LRT collection on top of the assets description.
GrumpyZade 22 May, 2022 @ 7:02am
We need biffa to do a video on this lol
BierPizzaChips 22 May, 2022 @ 2:50am
@clus: I can confirm that the red roofed station in this video is now running perfectly fine with three segments fully in use by the cims: https://youtu.be/vWfhNrYkP6c
Many thanks for that update, I apologise for not mentioning this in the video since i missed that update by only a few hours during video production; but i mention this update in the description.
Ventru 22 May, 2022 @ 1:46am
Great asset. Which tracks can I use to connect to ground level? When I use these ones I'm getting this weird connection next to the station end.
