Could take some time though, and from what I've been hearing Paradox has some fixing and tweaking to do on this new version.

You're welcome! :)
I've started on the new Lite, thankfully I currently have some time available. This time my goal is to make the new Lite expandable, it will have more content than the old Lite, but less features than ATW 2, and later I should add other features as add-on mods, like the custom star system templates and possibly a modified version of the dynamic habitability.

Thank you alot for this mod, it was the number one on my list. I'm looking forward to the one you're cookiing for 4.0. I might wait for it (Lite or ATW2) to be ready before trying Biogenesis.

I will not be updating this mod to Stellaris 4, it will remain available for 3.14.
Hopefully I will be working on a new version of Lite for 4.0, changing vanilla style and art without changing mechanics, with possible add-ons later.

Glad people are still enjoying it! :)

I'm actually planning on doing a new version of Lite, keep the compatibility, even improve it, and add more alternatives to the 9 vanilla habitable classes, besides the uninhabitable.

Thank you a lot for maintaining your mod. I'm starting a new run after a while and it's a real pleasure to use it. Great Compatibilty, well thought, well made.

Thank you very much!!!

Try now.
If you don't see the enlarged planet pictures, use Planetary Diversity's Planet View mod, or as an alternative the UI Overhaul Dynamic mod.

no work
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 3/set./2024 às 4:05
I will try
Saint-Roch 2/set./2024 às 9:48
No please no, don't abandon this great mod... it's by far my fav "aesthetic" one...

At least, would you make a small mod to use your Planets illustrations & View ?
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 14/jul./2024 às 8:15
This mod is no longer being developed, I will try to keep it updated as long as there are no major changes required, otherwise it will go outdated.
Give the new version a try:

Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 10/jul./2024 às 11:05
Why don't you try it?
羊驼兄 9/jul./2024 às 5:57
Is it works now?
Dr. Quackers M.D. 6/jun./2024 às 9:56
will it work with Real space new frontiers?
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 11/mai./2024 às 9:45
I have updated the mod to 3.12
Please report any bugs.
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 28/fev./2024 às 11:50
I've updated the mod to 3.11 yesterday, and should also have fixed an issue with terraforming toxic worlds (it was missing).
Anakin1773 24/fev./2024 às 10:38
Alright then, thank you.
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 24/fev./2024 às 7:59
@Anakin177, it should not, because the textures are the same resolution as the vanilla ones.
Anakin1773 20/fev./2024 às 19:19
@Lex Peregrine

Question for the mod team, does this mod have any negative effect on FPS?

My system consists of:

CPU: Intel 13600K
GPU: ASUS 6500 XT
RAM: 64 GB DDR5 CL30
STORAGE: 2 TB Crucial P5 Plus

I'll probably stop posting patreon links here, unless its specifically related to Lite.
UltraLore 19/dez./2023 às 16:38
Nice
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 18/dez./2023 às 5:42
Maybe as an origin. It may be worth it if I give some unique bonuses to the planet class. Currently you will find them usually orbiting gas giants, go figure ;)
UltraLore 18/dez./2023 às 3:21
will the photogenian class be an option in ATW 2.0?
UltraLore 14/dez./2023 às 13:16
noice
UltraLore 9/dez./2023 às 7:46
understood
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 9/dez./2023 às 4:38
But keep in mind, this is not Planetary Diversity, you will only have the 9 vanilla worlds to choose from, they just have different names and some different looks too, and the mechanics will be a bit different. I should add more choices as Origins, but for now I am not planning on increasing the number of homeworld choices, it would need UI changes and bring incompatibilities with other mods.
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 9/dez./2023 às 4:35
I hope so :) At least in beta, I might be able to leave terraforming mostly alone and do bigger changes on a sub-mod, as for the deposits its not a critical feature but isnt that hard to do either, so that leaves a few minor issues to tweak. Another possibility is leaving some of the marginals uncolonizable and enable them one by one in updates.
UltraLore 8/dez./2023 às 9:12
also, do you think the mod can still be finished by the end of this year or is that out of the question? (not that im demanding you to speed up, you can take how long it needs to release)
UltraLore 8/dez./2023 às 9:11
got it
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 8/dez./2023 às 7:16
Actually I also noticed that, the texture you see was adapted to the vanilla savannah surface portrait looks, but since I made it greener it no longer matches. I've updated the texture to a more diverse look. Most planets that have different biosphere options also have slightly different textures, so in the future if you terraform just to change the biosphere, you should see the texture update, unless the different biomes don't really look that different from orbit in which case I decided not to recolour the texture, but there are only a few of those.
UltraLore 8/dez./2023 às 3:04
will the savanna planet have the orange tint everytime or is that customizable?
UltraLore 27/nov./2023 às 4:12
nice
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 27/nov./2023 às 3:25
As an origin it is possible. It may work in a similar way to the ocean paradise origin, you get a super-terrestrial version similar to the homeworld you select.
UltraLore 27/nov./2023 às 2:57
will we be able to have a super-terrestrial as a homeworld?
UltraLore 24/nov./2023 às 7:43
i see
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 24/nov./2023 às 6:55
ATW 2.0 (aka Lite 2) will not be using the Temperature zone planet modifier, nor the Hydrosphere probably, but it should keep the Biosphere (like in Lite 1) and the new Atmosphere modifier. I'm also hoping I can make some changes to the species traits system I worked on, so species receive habitability bonuses on worlds with the same biosphere as your home, or penalties on worlds with different ones.
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 24/nov./2023 às 6:48
One possibility on my mind, is to have low habitability worlds (like the panthalassics) be uninhabitable, but allow them to be colonized after either a mega project or terraforming, which will convert them to one of the vanilla pc classes with a different texture and modifier. If you have the aquatic trait, you can change a panthalassic to an ocean and colonize underwater.
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 24/nov./2023 às 6:42
I have yet to determine how I will include other less habitable worlds in the new Lite 2.0, because including them will require new planet classes and further changes to habitability tables, terraforming, etc. Lite 1.0 only has the vanilla worlds with new textures, but for 2.0 I am hoping I can add more content. I'm working on the habitable conversion code now, so I will figure it out soon.
Lex Peregrine  [autor(a)] 24/nov./2023 às 6:39
First their frequency is likely to be reduced, second, there will no longer be a habitable submerged world, at least not in the new version of Lite. To keep compatibility with vanilla, you will only see the submerged world in the Ocean Paradise origin, while Aquatics can colonize underwater every world that uses pc_ocean (Megalopelagic and Archipelagic classes), this way I do not have to make changes to the origin nor the trait, which would lead to incompatibilities.
UltraLore 24/nov./2023 às 5:07
how will panthalassic colonisation work? since (based on other versions of ATW) they are very common but a bunch of them are either not colonizable or not terraformable, will that change?
