Filled graves deal damage to legs when running over them. Cool mod, but kind of unusable because of this

I have to concur. Something has to be added, like the non-traversable or injury-option. Had a long and very good run just now, but died from just turning after applying a spear to a grave. Sure, I could just respawn and use debug mode to get were I was before, or disable the option of dying to spear traps altogether. But it's a hassle. There are more player friendly ways to tackle this.

or maybe an option to make graves/speartraps non-traversible for players? so that you *can't* walk over them?

could their be an option so that instead of players instantly dying, they just get a serious leg injury? cuz it feels too cheaty to just turn off death but feels too broken to die on a trap you *just* loaded just by turning around

Would you consider making a setting in sandbox for the spear to not instantly break, but instead use the spears durability. Someone had made a mod for this in b41 that did that, but i think it just make more sense for it to be a base mod feature

Not sure if its possible but the ability to add stakes to the hole instead of only spears would be awesome.

Also I'm going to need the console.txt after the bug has been triggered. Are you on discord? Might be easier to send the console.txt.

Ahh I think they are modded spears ("improvised spears" made from tree branches). Could that be the cause?

@F1tgal911: I can't reproduce the issue you're describing. Which game version are you using? What kind of spear have you tried to remove? Vanilla spears? Basic wooden spear? Spears with knife and such? Modded spears?

Removing broken spear from graves results in error messages. The broken spears aren't removed. Any tip?

@Slalt: Ok, I had a look. Basically the `IsoZombie.knockDown()` method takes only a boolean parameter, which should indicates from which position the zombie is getting knocked down (from behind or not). Whether I set this boolean to true or false, zombies get knocked down on their back. Unfortunately there's not much I can do about it, so if it's important to you I guess you'll have to submit a bug report to The Indie Stone.

@Slalt: Hi, it is not an intentional change. I guess TIS changed the behavior of `zombie:knockDown()` in B42. I'll see what I can do. Thx for the heads up.

Hey man, just a quick question. In the original B41 mod, when zombies walked over a grave without a spear, they would get knocked down face-first. Now, they fall on their backs. Is this a bug or an intentional change?

I'm asking because the old behavior in B41 allowed for a significant strategic advantage.

se você desmarcar a opção sandbox que faz a lança matar o jogador você vai tomar dano se passar por ela mas nunca vai morrer a mesma coisa acontece com o zumbi nem ele nem você morre o mod só funciona com o zumbi se você morrer também ao passar por cima da cova só vale a pena usar isso com outro mod que salve o personagem caso contrário é pedir pra passar raiva

During server setup the options for Spear Traps are not found, i also tried 3 mods for Sandbox options in-game, Change Sandbox options, ChangeSandboxOptions2 and Change Sandbox options (by Star), but none of those work, sooo, i can not turn them non-instant-lethal...

The spikes wont show in the hole as they should but tiles away from it, this because the mod seems to require having double sized textures on, can you please make it work on the normal textures? since i cant have the double for performance reasons.

could you please change the damage it does to the player cause when you set up traps next to eachother and try to fill in the hole next to them theres a really good chance your player will just decide to walk into the traps when it's trying to forfill a task the amount of saves ive lost trying to make a spear trap but the player dies is annoying could you maybe change how much damage it does to a player so its a bit more forgiving or maybe change the hit box so it isn't so big and so easy to die on any changes would be appreciated

idk if its the mod but the texture for a grave/spiked grave is invisible meaning you can be walking by and fall easily into it. lost a character instantly from one spear garbage mod do not download not worth it

Dont use this you can die in a second just standing it as well as you can still die from one fucking spear in the ground. subcribe if you want to lose your 1 year world from being a giant idiot

@mthoms: This mod could apply random injuries to player walking over graves, assuming you disabled SpearTraps.SpearTrapsKillPlayer in your sandbox vars. If you didn't, the players would get killed when walking over a grave, not just injured. But all these behaviors can only happen if the player walks on some world object named `EmptyGraves`, so I really doubt the behavior you describe is caused by this mod
