massive props to these mod devs, i fear to think of all the work they'll need to do to bring it inline with the 4.0 rework. if you can afford to support them, please do! they didn't ask me to say that

I cant really play the game without this mod anymore as so many of my favourite empires depend on the new ethics and civics and such cant wait for this to get updated

Appreciate all the hard work the mod team puts towards this. I find this mod greatly improves my Stellaris experience, enhancing the game in a way that makes it so much more playable. Def worth waiting for.

As a lot of you may expect, the mod won't be updated to 4.0 shortly after the release

We will take several months (3) to readjust everything and catch up/polish as we have been doing the later months waiting for the release, and we will re-publish the mod with a more streamlined, perfected and polished code

Please, do not spam "update pls" "update when" etc, or i may disable the comments until we have it ready

Evolved will survive 4.0, but as said, we will take some months for it, thanks for the waiting

@Wurstmeister @hamzanuseibeh Bad luck i guess - evolved is designed as a standalone and all things work on themselves and with compat to people that request it, and no, there won't be separated submods of just an authority or whatever (and i do not allow separating content from evolved in any way or shape)

Oh. Huh. Sorry about that, I guess a mod somewhere is changing more than I thought it did. Guess that's running 50 mods for you.
On a related note, I think the mod can run into an issue with cybernetics upgrading: Pops get turned into a random species on 'upgrading'- That said, it *is* a vanilla issue; but the patch for it made by another modder doesn't work with Evolved.
I'm only guessing though, and I'm not even sure if Evolved also tackles that issue with inbuilt support. And again, it could just be a weird interaction, but since Evolved influences ascensions heavily, and being the only one on my list to do so, I figured it's likely the culprit.

Appreciate the mod, but is there a way to get the planet screen back to vanilla? I somewhat miss being able to see the entire picture- They've good art, and it's a shame for 1/2 - 1/3 of it being covered up.

We know there are some midgame crashes but atm all the efforts are put on 4.0

I've run 5 separate games with this mod both on its own and with Giga and its causing a consistent crash around the year 2300 across all of the games. The game load file remains usable after and allows you to play through another 10 years or so and then the game crashes out again. Is there any work for a patch at the moment or are you just waiting for 4.0 to drop?

Update: It's UI Overhaul. For some reason the compat isn't working for me. It does say that it is out of date, so maybe that's it.

Hey, when I load the game with Stellaris Evolved - Alpha active, I don't have the ability to click play after selecting a nation, create nation, or random. The button is just not there. Like, blank. I have UI Overhaul, and the UI Overhaul compat. I followed all installation order guidance. Any advice? Thanks.

Can't wait for more compability with Real Space. While most of the Stellaris Evolved content plays well with RS and I would say it would be the most immersive combo ever, there are few minor bugs that I guess would be easy to resolve for exprienced modder. :WhiteWolfFunny:

I LOVE about 80% of what this mod adds. The Hivemind civics, origins, etc. all make the game feel really interesting. There's so many more options to roleplay, especially for my main empire which is a hivemind that can't quite be pulled off in vanilla.

However, I believe it would be great if you reconsidered the anchorage overhaul! It kinda shins my ability to get my fleet capacity up. I also don't like the split between alloy and cg districts, partly because planet automation doesn't work well with it. I'm not a fan of the removal of science districts from habitats either; the megastructure districts feel too niche in usage as well.

playable fallen empires mode has a problem, we need fanatical ethics to make fallen empires, but because of the 1 point left, this mode forces us to use the points, so we cannot create fallen empires. Can you fix it?

The Perfected Mastery trait (bio ascension species trait) doesn't seem capable of selecting higher tier traits of the 'base' perfected traits (ie, mineral output, etc). I've levelled it up and a few of the base traits and when I see a pop with Perfected Mastery with that trait enabled, it is only ever the first tier one. Not sure if that makes sense
