Thanks to Blackdog's fantastic Photobooth fix mod, I have resumed work on more mods, poses included!! I'm slowly getting back into it, as the burnout is still very real, but I am working on new stuff, Combat Pose pack included!

Is there a way to remove the weapons completely? im using two primary mods and the second weapon (Pistol, Shield, Sword, etc) still appear and completely ruin it. thank you in advance

Your two pose mod crash with Poses for All mod. Sometimes I still want to use original 4 soilders pose to take photo

Hi! I´ve the same problem than PeyoteQueen.
The game crashes at the mission photo, but also if you take a photo from the soldiers screen.

Hi! This mod is great, and is better if is updating. I just have one problem, when i take a mission photo and i select a pose, the game crashes, and the problem started yesterday.

More specificaly, to remove poses from randomly generated squad posters, go to Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\2589637478\Config and open XComContent.ini with a text editor. Then for each pose, add ",bExcludeFromGroupShots=true" at the end (after _None) inside the parantheses.
Here's an example of what it should look like:
+m_arrAnimationPoses=(AnimationName="AS_Cas_Stand_01",AnimationOffset=0.25,AnimType=ePAFT_None,bExcludeFromGroupShots=true)

Adding (bExcludeFromGroupShots=true) at the end of each line in the ini file will exclude these poses from randomly generated squad poster, while you can still select them when you take your own photo.

The solution is easy.
In the "mod" folder there is another folder called 'localization' and inside there is a file called 'localization.int'.
- Duplicate this file in the same place (for example, by copying and pasting) and you will get another file called 'localization Copy.int'.
- Rename 'localization Copy.int' to 'localization.???' being ??? the three letters that the game uses to identify different languages ​​(rus for Russian, fra for French, esn for Spanish ...).
- In the end you have to have two files in the folder, the original 'localization.int' and for example 'localization.ger' if you are playing in German.

This is shorter and easier to do than to explain.

Some "mods" that add poses to the photo booth have a slight problem with the description.
The text that gives title to the pose does not appear if you are playing in a language other than English .
The cause of the problem seems to be that it does not read the multinational translation file if you are playing for example in Spanish.

I love the poses, but could there be a way to only ever use them by manual selection, not randomly appear in photos?

By the way, this may be completely irrelevant, but I forgot to mention that the [WotC] XCom 2 Community Pose Pack also doesn't show up in the photobooth. I'm completely relegated to vanilla poses.

The WOTC Community Highlander (and Alien Hunters version) may be it? They got updated generally around the time where I think the issue occurred. Since they're pretty big important mods that deal a lot with the more nitty-gritty code of the game. After all, I highly doubt something like, for example "Modular ADVENT Cosmetics" would be the root cause.

I haven't touched the mods since their release, so whatever changed, it's on your end. Check your subscribed mods and sort by Last Updated, see if anything there changed. Also, yesterday steam was being weird and wonky for several hrs, maybe something got uninstalled.

For some reason this mod stopped working. My campaign still runs fine, but all of a sudden, these poses (along with the poses from the Calender Poses Pack) no longer show up in the photobooth. Any ideas? I'll try uninstalling then reinstalling the mod to see if that helps, but it may be an incompatibility with another mod. (Though the Alternate Mod Launcher doesn't say it has any)

For some weird reason this mod caused my game to lock up at random times. I did add this during a current game however. I even went through the config folder and cleaned it out and did the usual stuff but nothing worked. No big deal.

Just did the edits and tested it--Seems to be working! Really a simple fix on my end, Thanks dude. Both of the packs work wit the same edit for each, just adjusted for the pose pack. Much appreciated! :steamthumbsup:

ok, that makes sense. So basically this mod tells the game:
- enable these AnimSets (where the poses are stored) for the following character templates:
Soldier, ReaperSoldier, SkirmisherSoldier, and TemplarSoldier.

In theory, if you want to enable these for your Allies Unknown characters, you need to add them to the list. In the mod files, you want to open up XComGameCore.ini. You will see a list of the 4 above. What you want to do is, quite literally copy/paste one of the lines below the rest. Then, change the:
CharacterTemplate="Soldier"
into whatever RM named his soldier types, so for example:
CharacterTemplate="AsariSoldier"
This should work with any of his mods that use a HUMAN skeleton; Quarians, Salarians, Krogans, Asari, Turians, etc. If they don't, they will still be eligible, but the pose won't take completely, and you'll get deformed poses (because the bone names don't align). So stuff like playable aliens and Sparks won't work because they use a different skeleton.

Yes, the mod-added races don't have any new poses. I can still create a character and just change them visually to one of the other species, but the actual 'classes' themselves won't work. I'm assuming it's for similar issues as to why the mod isn't compatible w/ SPARKs, as they are technically a different unit type?

Hey, Kexx, love the mod(s) you've been putting out but I have a bit of a technical question: I noticed that while the poses show up for all my human characters, some of the modded characters I have (Asari and Twi'lek, specifically) don't have the poses showing up--only getting the Vanilla ones. I know you don't have plans for Playable Aliens, but for the humanoid ones is there anything I can do on my end to solve this issue?
