Also, having an option to only show the far view would be helpful—it's more intuitive for locating specific resources from the base. Personally, I don't need the small icons that appear when zoomed in.

Edit: Just seems to have a delay for a bit before it removes the display, the uraniums gone now
I have to hustle a lot at work atm but the error is now confirmed and im working on a "big" update
changing the way the overlay is printed from ground up
my testing branch does already work, but I still struggle to print the Text onto the resource fields
I would guess update rate is too high but uneducated guess.
I play on huge map and ground pen scanned for a while, I'd say 1/6 of my map has underground veins. When ever I click on scanner or deep drill, in 1x speed it tanks from 60 fps to 20. vanilla has no perf. hit.
even when using a tribal start, I get 0.004ms to 0.001ms for the prefix

keep in mind this is with a neolithic colony no scanner nothing at all in the map when i add it gets worse
I also renamed my Patch so there is no possible scramble with potential other Mods that also use the HarmonyPatch name :)
