For all your mods that have a demo video that says we need to install "GCFScape," is it necessary for it to work?
Because I'm watching other mods where the demo videos show how the mod works and that's it.
Does that mean the videos where you show how to install "GCFScape" require it, and where the steps for installing GCFScape aren't shown, does that mean the mod doesn't require it?

I like this mod but why the 33% downgrade of the tier 2? If possible could you reduce it to 15 or 20%? Or remove this downgrade entirely? I would prefer to play through the maps with various tiers of weapons not just tier 1

It basically has a chance to change your ammo pile into a random tier 1 weapon when you encounter an ammo pile in the middle of a campaign or when you reach the next safe house. It means you have to constantly change your weapon especially if you have a weapon (tier 1 or 2) that's low on ammo.

Let's say for example, you reach the forklift event in death toll, you'd usually expect an ammo pile there along with other weapons right? Well this mod has a chance to change that ammo pile into a random tier 1 weapon. It adds a bit of a challenge to playing the game.

What exactly does this mode do? I have in installed but feel like it hasnt dont anything... Is there a chance your tier 2 changes to tier 1 when using an ammo pile or an ammo pile only having ammo for a tier 1? Or just tier 2 guns are less likely? Im confused but I want a mod that makes me change weapons more often

has this addon stopped working suddenly? i start to notice the ammo piles never get converted into t1 weapons at all, it DID worked before because i can tell it kept spawning the css mp5 which i always use but not anymore for some reason, this is the only mod that makes the mp5 more commonly spawned

There should be a fix where this does not apply to the Dead Center Gun Store, because it is kind of odd seeing the guns mixed up with each other

This mod will also change weapon's default skin to TLS skin randomly, such as AK and M16.

Could you make a script that changes the functionality of the upgrade pack (incendiary and explosive ammo) to standard ammo?
I mean, when you put these ammo, you just get ammo for weapons from them

How about a mod that changes special ammo boxes to just deployable 1 time (per player) regular ammo refill? They're not very useful and can actually cause more harm than good. With additional texture mod they'd make a new cool addition to the game c:

hey recently i just noticed that, when i pick up a different weapon it just deletes the current. like lets say i have a awp, and i traded it/grabbed a m16/rifle. the awp would just delete itself

I edited your code to enable mp5 in the smg variants.

I also reduced the odds of replacing the ammo piles and increased the chance of spawning two guns, since we play with the mod that only allows each gun to be picked up once (weapon unstay).

If you really want to be more picky about how scripts like these work, you can always get the file via Crowbar (or similar tools if they exist), open the script and edit it yourself. Chances are if it uses a specific percentage as stated, then you likely can find somewhere in the code where that's set and alter it to your liking.

Being as simple as "subscribe and done" is an admirable goal to set, and those who want to do more with it can learn how, as it isn't hard and can inspire you to look into creating your own stuff.

@PeopleLikeStuff Those static spawns bother me so much. I remember a couple years back there used to be all these item spawn randomizer addons by this 1 author but they have sadly since been removed.
