It had the old id as dependency and needs to be updated

Just a quick thought, if Weapons Core is a dependency, shouldn't it be added to the dependency list? That way players who sub to this mod won't wonder why its broken if for whatever reason they don't already have Weapons Core?

I mean its not a big deal, just thought I'd point it out in case you get that eventual problem as dependencies automatically install with the mods.

i was doing a modular tank with multiple turrret swap-in, swap-out and notice a few thing with the mod here:

1) SG turret pre-build projection are reverse, the projection show the barrel facing foward but once place the barrel face backward (Those i have use are Vehicle 14.5mm CIWS Turret, Vehicle 50mm Burstcannon Turret, Vehicle 122mm Assault Gun Turret, Vehicle Missile Turret) have not check the other turret nor the LG version atm)

2) SG Missile turret wil only have one barrel firing all the missile instead of each barrel firing their missile.

Ah I was going to give them new particles and sounds and fix a lot of the issues like the large grid missile launcher only firing out of its first muzzle, which I do not think I can do with server overrides. Or do you mean there is another way. I am still new at this and I know that there is a lot that I do not know.

There is already a weapon core version with weapons modified to work with it.its uploaded by Ash like snow, with full permission from the original author.

You do not need to reupload models.

There are actually multiple ways of making mod edits without ever having to touch the original thanks to the dependency system

Hello Chipstix213,

I would like to know if it would be alright with you if I lifted a few of the models and made a weaponcore mod with them, crediting you of course? The only thing similar would be the models, I would be writing new .cs and .sbc files for them and using particles and sounds that I made. It wouldn't be for survival, it would be for the Starcore Combat Servers. If it is ok, then message me back on what would be an appropriate way to credit all authors involved in this project. If not then then I understand and will curb my enthusiasm.

Well the weapon restrictions are for balance to prevent weapon spam. If you can get round it but not paste the ship sounds like a weapon core bug.

I wanted to add a 75mm High Velocity Railgun on my ship, but it can't be next to the other guns, which would ruin the design I was building.

could you make a version where the space required between weapons is removed? Its really annoying and can just be circumvented by placing the weapon first and placing other weapons around it. however, when the ship is placed, the weapon can't spawn. Please remove the minimum weapon spacing or make a version without it. Thanks!

could you maybee a bit more specific on what make syou think that it isnt working correctly for you?
all you said so war was "its broken, somehow" which is as helpfull as throwing a barrel full of oil into a fire in an attemt to extinguish it.

The weapon core version will likely have some turrets using different definitions because of how weapon core works

as far a s i know the different versions can be exchanged for another, but never take different versions into a save at the same time only one at a time.

Hi, does this use the same weapon block and ammo ID's as the original mod?

Hi guys. First at all, thx for this great mod.
I'm trying to config the 75mm railgun to decrease the time to reload and energy costs, but i'm not sure about how to do that. I override the values in the CoreSystemsServer.cfg with these values, but the behaviour of the weapon during the reload is the same:

First, great job with these. Always been a fan of this weapon pack, so it's great to see them get a WC-and-texture update. Second, any chance of reducing the placement size of any of these on large grid? I'm thinking especially of the CIWS turret, which I would actually use if it took up 1x1x1 space instead of 3x3x1.

When placing the 50mm small grid cannon, the actual orientation is opposite that of the ghost image. For example if I place one aiming up the resulting turret aims down. If this affects shooting as well you have a REAL problem. Check this.

do these guns employ the overheating mechanic? I've noticed some WC modpacks don't address overheating at all, and there's nothing in this description about it...

Chipstix, a suggestion, split off the designator turret when it's done. Otherwise we're all going to have to do work to blacklist that specific block in MES / NPC Weapon randomizer configs. And you know we're ALL using the NPC weapon randomizer.

Otherwise we'll have NPC grids spawning with a designator turret where an actual turret should have been occasionally.

Getting a weaponcore init failure for LargeTurret14mm causing WC to crash. Much appreciate your work on this, i've heard good things about the original but I never used it. Yours is my first run and it looks good until an npc comes at me with the above gun crashing my weapon system. I'll get more details and edit/add them if possible.

You should find that the NPC Expansion no longer has any specific version listed as a dependency, so you can use whichever Grand Weapons mod you want with it :)

the problem with the oki npc expansion is that is automatically also add the non wc oki version because it is set as a depndency. so we ned a dependency free or altered version of it

Having a bit of an issue, the 50mm Burstcannon turret seems to fire its rounds a couple of degrees to the left of the actual bore angle, meaning you have to aim far to the right to hit what you're aiming at. Not sure if this is a bug specifically from this version or if that carried over from the original.

First priority is getting all of the models retextured lol. Many of the weapons are already using certain WC features, such as overheating, or features that were previously handled by Whip's Railgun Weapon Framework.
