is it just me or the axe kind of weak? my cactus rib (expanded wood working) club I made early in my tribe naked brutality run is doing more damage then a stone axe I recently made even if it has more durability

I don't know about wealth but you might be interested in "Ignorance is bliss" to prevent unfair raids by advanced factions

Is there any other mod that interacts well with this one to control wealth growth? Having to fight against 15 raiders with assault rifles with my neolithic tribe is a little silly... only way to survive becomes buying weapons or taking them off of dead raiders and then your own tech becomes obsolete

The (lead) heavy club seems to be OP. I don't have the Royalty dlc so I can't compare it to other blunt melee but the only thing I've come by that is an improvement is laser swords (from VE laser weapons.)
Later game needs a good blunt weapon like this but for early game this should be nerfed a little (unless blunt is secretly way worse than the DPS and armor pen shown.)
Also it is described as 2 handed, but you can equip shields with it.

Not really sure what the point of the light club is. It's weaker than a piece of wood unless it's made of uranium. No quality means no chance of being better.

i subscribed this mod, played 3 playthroughts... unsubscribed. THESE FIRE BOMBS HUNTS ME IN MY NIGHTMARES. The total reason of my demise. Later in game spawns like 20 people with fire bombs and the whole map starts burning.

Here to complain about the shiv .... a 44% chitin shiv has 10.44 dps or so .... my excellent plasteel knife is 10.55 ......

yeah this sub-mod is irredeemably broken. Weapons display no quality, and shivs are significantly better than master crafted proper weapon.

The especially problematic shiv I mentioned has a 0.6 second cooldown because the chitin material has a 60% cooldown modifier. Maybe that's the thing that's busted?

The shiv is definitely broken, it's a super cheap weapon that easily outpaces swords and knives. It shouldn't deal 8 damage every .6 seconds.

is there a chance you can add javelin-thrower / spear-thrower like weapon that have vary long ranged and good dmg but need high/vary high shooting skill to hit. maybe need long bow research to craft

Shiv's have a cut cooldown of 0.6 and stab cooldown of 0.9. This is a both too fast for melee attacking and not the advertised speed so either it's an unintended update, or something is broken.

This is xml only, so theoretically it should work with 1.4 unstable.

Pleaaase buff the sling, it's insanely underpowered. IRL, a skilled slinger can hit a target with the same energy as a .44 Magnum.

When I look at the dps under the Melee damage area, the numbers are moving constantly for the dps slot, is that a bug?

I think clay pot should't be use chemfuel as the material because chemfuel is way further tech for tribe to use, I suggest we should make some raw fresh for bio-oil in order to craft this weapon.

Heavy club it too strong, actually better than warhammer made of the same materials. Is there anything I'm missing?

I feel these weapons need a balance check to make them fun alternatives instead of cheaper, stronger weapons that require less research, as they are now. I can't justify these being stronger than other weapons.

Not sure if this is intended, but it looks like all of these weapons aside from the sling are missing the neolithic weapon class. NBD but it causes them not to grant the mood buff for wielding a preferred weapon if you have the corresponding ideology. Was able to fix it myself by editing the def but thought you should know! Thank you for all the great work!

That heavy club is no joke man! Boy o boy, it was really fun beating the snot out of raiders with that thing. The high damage means plenty of permanent damage going on! Very satisfying weapon lol

Could you change the recipe for fire bombs? Most tribals don't exactly have access to chemfuel, which means the fire bombs are only really useful later in the game, where you might as well use molotovs.

What? No, this is not how it works. I don't care about the bug because I can't fix the bug, because I'm not responsible for the CE patch. CE people are, they patched it.

I have big 'This mod is CE compatible' at the top so people don't come here asking if it's CE compatible. I don't care about CE, I care about not having to answer the same question 50 times a day.

There is a bug when you craft sling ammo you use up the resource but you don't get the ammo you crafted. Is this a combat extended mod issue or a tribal weapon expanded mod issue?

Are slings meant to hit through a shield belt's shields? Thought maybe it was intentional but then I didn't see it anywhere in the item description. Mostly they bounce off armour anyway but it seems they consistently go through the shield.
