I tried to make sure the base looks like a medium conveyer junction, the design sizes/concepts are from the original mod.

Thank you for letting me know that, thats my bad and def a stupid user error lol, small grid was the only thing i didnt try because i assumed based on the blocks size and connection size that it was for large grid but thanks for clearing that up for me

After further checking i actually cant put any of the vehicle turrets on a grid cause they wont snap including their regular turret counterparts, I.E, the regular 50MM burstcannon turret also wont snap to large grid blocks

Hey so im having an issue where the Vehicle 50MM BurstCannon wont attach to blocks, im trying to put it on large grid blocks and it doesnt attach at all, ive tried putting it on a conveyor connection and cargo connection and it just refuses to snap to the block at all. I can free place it but then it would fly off the grid the second i moved my ship

Thank you for keeping this alive! But i think now it needs an update to the new Block Menu structure. And question: Are they supposed to be included in the progression tree?

I may have some time to give this some attention in the near future. I've been considering whether Vanilla+ and/or DynamicArmor may be worth incorporating into this mod, but that is a larger project that may need to wait for later this winter. First things first, some bugfixes maybe? This is what I've collected so far from some quick baseline testing.

1. 50mm small grid fixed muzzle flare wrong location
2. 14.5mm small grid fixed muzzle flare wrong location
3. 50mm large grid fixed muzzle flare wrong location

These all seem to be related to when Keep messed up muzzle flare mapping with the warfare update, I remapped them, and then they undid their screwup and so screwed these up. What other bugs are you guys encountering that you'd like me to try and fix?

Hmm, didn't know about that adjuster. I think with that and block limiter I have what I need. Going to take your advice and go that route.

Yes I'm saying additional permission is required for use of these assets.

Generally I disagree with server packs the mod adjuster is great for most things. Probably not when frameworks are involved

The original OKI bundle has a clause for general permission to use the mod. Was asking here since that was on the original mod page to get permission from this mod. I believe Chipstix, you did the retexture and seff did the rework. I wanted to get permissions all around.

Are you saying I should get permission from Okim to use this material on this mod in addition to the general use clause on the original mod page? I'm down to get whatever perms needed, just not totally sure who all to include.

No uploads without the express permission of the original owner. This mod exists because okim allowed the re model.

Could I create a modified version of this with some rebalance, and only the fixed and casimate?

The one maintained by ash isn't broken. Especially as ash maintains weapon core

Im having a issue were all the weapons aiming radius is stuck at 4mm. I need help i dont know if its a bug with the other mods i have or something.

@ogrimdooh I don't have an issue with it, and I don't think Okim does either, but the models used in this have been modified by Chipstix, and I think he prefers no re-uploads. You might try getting the original models from Okim's original upload and replacing the models in this mod with them, then stripping out the railgun framework.

There may be an issue with how this mod now interacts with Whip's framework since the last update. 'Shoot property not found' for MyObjectBuilder. Hope the solution is easy, as removing this mod completely bricks my server. Cheers, best of luck.

does anyone know if the turrets in this mod auto target enemy ships like the vanilla turrets do? i love these guns on my ship but i dont wanna get 10 hrs into a build and find out my weaponry has to be all manned to work, thx in advance happy building!

Not a big deal. We removed the mod and keeping an eye on it for when you are better and feel like focusing on it. We know expansions/DLC’s/updates break stuff.

I've been trying to make an effort to come back and update this mod now that Automatons is out, but I've also basically been sick in bed for the last week. There's definitely something wrong, but I don't know what it is - Whip pushed an update to the framework (even if you didn't have it explicitly added to your server it was loaded as a dependency) and I think it broke something. I haven't had the chance to talk to him yet, but in what little testing I've managed I haven't experienced crashes - but guns firing backwards, shells exploding right out of the barrel, and other awfulness.

Only reason why we are suspecting this mod is that we get a bunch of Railgun framework errors and then it mentions a OKI gun and then crash. Once we grind off the OKI guns from the ship, we can then stay logged in and no longer crash to desktop.

The framework will be loaded in all cases because it is a dependency there is no need to add it manually.

Without the crash log it's impossible to know if it's actually this

Has anyone come across an issue with the server crashing when using this pack? Seems that when we print some ships that either have these guns as apart of their blueprint or if we add these guns onto a ship, the server will eventually crash. Now it seems to be an issue with the OKI guns and a Railgun frame work. We were getting this issue before the framework was added and then we added Whip's Rail Gun Framework and same issue. Anyone know what is creating the issue?

I am unable to manually control the turrets. They only work when the designator marks a target but even the designator can't be manually controlled. I had weaponscore installed but I uninstalled it.

Not sure if this is unique to me, I have been getting a strange bug where a world with the mod would load just fine for the first time, but crashes just after loading the second time. It is a empty space map with no other mods enabled.

I would post the error log but Steam is probably not keen on a 2000-line message...

@moriarty187 As far as I am concerned you can do what you want; but I am not sure that I am in a position to grant permission to anyone. The models, while originally by Okim, have been modified/updated by Chipstix for compatibility with skins. They're who you'd need to talk to for re-using them, probably.

I think you mean intellectual property permission to rework the models was given from the original creator.

Without specific details steam policy is clear on this point, no reuploads

I would suggest looking for the mod adjuster script by ash like snow.

Because weapon core is only compatible with weapon core weapons. There is an alternative version by Ashlikesnow

You would have had a on screen notification that the pack was not compatible
