While labeled as a JP localization, it actually is the full mod, and does include English text as well.

Thank you LokiCharms for that! Was able to manually paste that fixed code in and now notifications appear again (thank god). So much better than endlessly scrolling through worlds looking for layabout workers

The only file that needs updating is the 00_message_types file to make it work with 3.2

Here is the updated file I use. It's simply a merging of this mod's file with the current vanilla file

Also, delete the bak file in that folder. bak files mess with the game reading the actual mod file.

sadly getting purple error probley interfering with other addon. idea for reminder is nice but not worth other mods icons getting ruined.

I haven't found any place where the bak file supposed to be, but i merged with the current txt, and updated the mod.

Hey, Maniac here, the previous caretaker of the mod. I'm playing some Stellaris again after a hiatus of a couple months, and thought I'd check up on this mod. I noticed the additions to message_types.txt from 3.0 haven't been merged into the file. Also the messages_types.txt.bak file still is the same folder as message_types. I've noticed in the past that Stellaris, unlike other Paradox games, reads bak files like normal text file. This had the potential danger that the game could read the bak file instead of the text file you actually want it to read.

It used to work with construction finished in general. Causing notification upon planet, ship (not fleet! individual ships), starbase, starbase module, outpost, mining station, and research station finished. Disabled that part, because it spammed the shit out of my screen all the time.

Hello! Thanks for this great mod!

I have a question: would it be possible for you to add a notification "planet has finished construction of a building"?

I've found it very annoying to miss that, since when the game promotes workers to specialists on building completion, it takes technicians/miners/farmers and doesn't shift clerks to these actually useful jobs.

This mod cannot be achievement compatible, it is technically impossible to do so.

It alters the checksum, therefore every player has to have it in a multiplayer.

Honestly i don't know. Logic would say yes, because it does not alter any of the direct game values. But remember that this is a paradox game. I would give a try.

To me there is no such thing. The only difference between this mod's and the original is a hidden effect, that meant to grant cooldown on selling artifact to collector, but it doesn't work. I don't know if my mods overwrite it, or yours, but in vanilla game this used to be a function that was later removed.

Checking the mod reveals, that the mod were supposed to give notification when the modifier ends, but since the modifier was removed from base game it can no longer be applied, and nor the message ever shows. I could remove it, but currently it has 0 impact on the game.

common\artifact_types\!pdn_artifact_actions adds a fail message, but changes the values of the artfiacts from 1 to 10 and the reward from tier1 to tier2, and the max is from tier3.

Considering the number of ships, and buildings i make it would be a LOT of it. But the proper parts are in the old mod. You need to edit the message_types.txt in the common\message_types folder. Another person did it earlier.

Really enjoy this mod. Sadly, 3.0 seems to have caused a pink error glitch. Hope it gets updated at some point.

Seems some cache problems. Maybe old mods fucked up something with the temporary data. I have ui overhaul dynamic, and there is no problem with it.

Edit: I have solved it by doing this:
Go to (C:Users%username%)DocumentsParadox InteractiveStellaris and delete the following files:

dlc_load.json

game_data.json

launcher-v2.sqlite

mods_registry.json

everything inside last_mods={ } in settings.txt

It is not directly related to this MOD, but not entirely unrelated, since it is also notification for convenience.

I did not created the original mod, and i'm not not sure, if i can make it happen. I simply updated the mod for the new patch making the difference in files, that are present in the vanilla system as well. But i take a look into t. By the way the removal of those notification was done in a pretty lazy way so it's easy to restore.

I think making them optional would be nice. (re-add planetary construction, ship complete as disabled by default and can be enabled by the edict)

+ crime notification would be convenient (early notify for 10+ and shortage notify for 25+ crime would be suitable for most cases, I think)

I found it frustrating to see the constant messages spamming. I used the simplest solution to remove it so, if required, then i can easily re-add it. By the way the mod checks each planet every month for update, and ignores planet, that are building stuff. So if you know, that more buildings will be required, then fear not, because in a month you get the message.

I was not very happy that the planetary construction notification was removed as that was a major reason I even found out about the original mod. Thankfully its as simple as adding the pdn_events text file from the original mod back to the events folder.

I don't know enough about modding to know if you could have removed code to stop this from working, but thanks for not doing that if it was an option!
