This might be a bit wacky...

I think the maximum is the same as in vanilla game, when you set the Galaxy size to Huge. However, personally, I never used such sizes due to the end game lag. Hence why the nano size with 100 stars was added, which allows you to have decent games even when you enable xeno-compatibility and have 100500 types of pops.

What is the maximum number of stars your galaxy generates?

If you want, you can also contact me via Discord if this issue remains

Have you tried to unsubscribe from the mod and resubscribe back?
I have also tried the Steam worksop version of the mod myself and it ran perfectly fine.
Draconia Empire 4 Jun, 2023 @ 4:17am
it indicates that it is not compatible with the latest version of the game. where me and someone else can't spell a series of game plays. this is a pity though, as we are extremely far along with gameplay using the mod.

Hey! The mod should already be updated for 3.8.* versions of the game. Are there any issues?
Draconia Empire 3 Jun, 2023 @ 6:55am
hi, doe plan on updating dis mod to 3.8.3? so yes, when can we aspect it to be available?
Aetherum  [author] 24 Feb, 2022 @ 3:02pm
yes, go to stellaris_map_extension/map/map_scenarios/ There you will find .txt files. Open them and look for line num_empires = { min = 0 max = 50 } #limits player customization.

Love the mod, is there any way you could increase the maximum ai empires on huge sized maps?
Aetherum  [author] 21 Nov, 2021 @ 3:50am
Yes… but I do not plan to active develop this mod, unless some suggestion will be provided. So it will be updated only with vanilla Stellaris updates.
Amadeus 21 Nov, 2021 @ 2:53am
Thanks! If I do it manually, will Steam re-download it automatically to "fix" it or if mod is updated?
Aetherum  [author] 21 Nov, 2021 @ 12:41am
Yea, you need to go to the mod folder and delete the habitat file. I think it is the only file in the common folder.
Amadeus 20 Nov, 2021 @ 7:55pm
@Aetherum Is it possible to enable back construction of Orbital Habitats or make it an option? I would love to use this mod but several of my custom empires are voidborn and they would not be able to expand in these conditions :(

Thanks for noticing)

The title is spelled incorrectly. It should be "Extension," not "Extenstion."
Aetherum  [author] 15 Apr, 2021 @ 10:31am
Yea, this mod is pretty simple, so it should wotk now.

But I have still updated it to 3.0.1
Druso 15 Apr, 2021 @ 10:19am
It seems still works on 3.0.1 Dick Update + Nemesis

50 is the max number - look at screens - there is slider bar
Snickle1980 27 Jan, 2021 @ 4:29pm
The description makes it seem as though you'll have 50 civs regardless of choice. :KOh:
Aetherum  [author] 17 Nov, 2020 @ 10:24am
You decide on your own how many empires you want to spawn on the vanilla maps. The maximum size of 50 AI was set due to perfomance limitations of the game, similar to maximum of 1000 stars per map - week PCs won't be able to launch such game. Of course, on the tiny map not all 50 empires will spawn, because I have also set the spawn to be on +/- equal distances. However, even in such case their amount will be higher, then with the vanilla settings. If you want to give each AI Empire 2-5 stars put all 50 AIs on tiny map, if you want to have other proportion - decrease the AI amount.
Kepos 17 Nov, 2020 @ 9:18am
Err....50 AI empires on a tiny map, did I get this right? No slider, no likelihood to spawn considering the size?

Evenly spreaded empires seem to be quite interesting, as well as for multiplayer games.
