If you guys are still on Arma I'd like to ask that you revisit this map. Maybe bringing it to standard of most maps that are currently on the workshop since the lighting just doesn't work, verts are messing with the terrain that it makes AI pathing impossible and a general SATMAP update would do this map wonders. This is like the only Sangin map on the workshop worth using but it just needs a touch up

Great original map and finally fixed for A3. Thanks for the hard work. I see someone on SW has added a version with fixed signature.

I think the reason why this map requires the Apex DLC is that it was built by erasing Tanoa (the DLC map) and using desert terrain in its place. All this resulted in the game thinking that we need Apex to run the map, solely because the publishers didn't build the map from scratch. Furthermore, there's little to no benefit that came from making a map this way, because as some folks have already stated in previous comments, the lighting is completely f*cked (it was thought for Tanoa) and the water has weird, purple reflections because, again, it's made for Tanoa. It's very disappointing, because not having Apex means not being able to play on a 5x5km map that takes very little from the original DLC.
Frankly, I don't know what was going through the minds of the publishers when they pulled this one. Hope this helps.

getting 30fps in editor, 20 after placing a warthog from OPTRE down and just driving around. Not sure what causes that compared to the other maps i have loaded like lythium

Anyone know why this requires the Apex DLC - I have seen almost no cases of a map ever needing a DLC to work unless it is actually the DLC map.

The bisign of "Hesco.pbo" seems to be broken as it's giving me an error.

That and the Hesco walls take 1 RPG, sometimes a grenade or two and then the wall completely disappears.

The brightness of the map now is insane, I have to use colour correction scripts just to make it playable, playing on the map for two long gives myself and others a headache after a bit. Hopefully it get's patched in the future. Also as JGaz has said, some other terrains I have in my modpack have a real messed up looking sky with this map loaded.

There is a problem with framedrops if you place Darter drones and AI groups. I made a ticket, it would be nice if you can give some input.

I crash whenever I try to open this map and this map only in singleplayer through missions or editor. Works fine when opening via LAN tho.

Do you have any idea why the AI team members can't cross over the "rock fences" and the dense vegetation areas (where lots of grass/bushes placed). I've experienced this issue only in this map. You can't send your AI members to the fields surrounded by even the lowest rock fences. They say just "No can't do". It can be really frustrating when you would like to play missions in SP mode in this map. (In Editor mode, I tried to place AI units into the problematic areas, and see what happen when I give the "MOVE" command anywhere on the map, but they just stucked, and can't move from there. - No can't do.) Thx for the help.

Hiya!

Fun map! Found a minor terrain bug on it. At position [790,2677,6] there is a totally unnatural terrain "pyramid", about 2.5 meters tall. Probably an artifact of the terrain data, but still bothersome.

Very dense. Good variety of types of firefights. Keep it up, sir.

I am not able to use the map because I don't have APEX. It would help out a lot if you could just get rid of that requirement. I don't really see why you would need it for a map anyways...

This map removes the Sun from Takistan and derived maps. (The Sun on Sangin is present though).
