@General Pie Not going to update because I no longer play Stellaris. Should be compatible but I haven't tried it. Load order doesn't matter, this mod doesn't override files.

@Baka Racker I've just tested it. It can be drawn. You have to research genome mapping and meet a primitive planet before you can draw it.

@BurningRaptor It's worked for me so far, although I generally end up having to cheat myself the tech as it never seems to come up in the draw. I am using it alongside Giga and ACOT, so that might be skewing the chance for it to be an option.

The pre-req tech requires that you know of a pre-sapient species, with the flag "found_presapients". Even though I know of some pre-sapient species, since I didn't actually survey the planets they were on (they're in other empires' territories, so that's not allowed), I can never get the pre-req tech.

Might I suggest using the has_met_primitives trigger instead?

YES THANK YOU SO MUCH i have mods that let me create new species but they always start at stone age so i could never enlighten them quickly hindering my precursor games this fixes that problem right up.

One feature I am looking for is to get some more out of primitives. Maybe deliberately keep them down and use them as slaves. Like get 1 miniral for every pop on it and past industrial 0,5 alloy or something like that with the occasional event trigger that costs some money to keep them down.
Adding that would be a good addition to this. Giving you the choice of either being a benevolently advance them or ruthlessly exploit them.
Maybe even add the nuance that when they try to advance you have 3 options. Either do nothing which means it's possibly successful or could lead to civil war which reduces pops and resources. Regulate and support it which makes them always successfully advance and makes them more likely to try and overthrow you if you stop your support and surpress it which keeps them as they are but is most expensive of all.

How does it work? I built observational post around primitive planet but it only has vanilla options for interaction with primitives. There is no option to advance them :(

I am not sure but think this is broken, as in the mod menu multible files appear whilst what looks like the main one says "Missing descriptor file".
