Still planning updates? Mirrored props would be useful for wider one-way and divided roads, and for full quadrant crossings.

Strange - unless you have another mod with the same shortcut the menu should definitely open, I haven't seen this one before so I'm not sure. If you start a vanilla save unmodded apart from this pack and rwy replacer does the menu open?

That shortcut is to open the Railway Replacer mod menu which isn't included in this prop pack but is a required mod - are you certain that you have that mod (and its dependencies) enabled for your save?

Not that I know of at the moment; I may add a set with the barriers up to this pack as separate props at some point but not sure when exactly

A month or so maybe, it's such a small update compared to the other stuff I'm working on that it hasn't been a main priority. These were made with an older image editor as well, so it was also a little inconvenient to update the textures.

Flashing isn't possible with the shader these use, but the brightness will be improved in an upcoming update, along with some extra light attachments for detailing!

The only thing i wish you would do about this mod is make the light color alittle brighter and make them flash like you did with your new rail side signals. That would it look amazing.

They are assets, so as long as they are enabled in the content manager they will always be available in any savegame.
In order to replace the barriers that are automatically placed at road-rail intersections, you'll also need to have the Railway Replacer mod enabled in that save, then use the shortcut Shift + Alt + P to open its menu and change the different railway barrier sizes to one of those included in this pack.
In order to place them as standard non-functional props, simply search 'railway barrier' or something similar in Find It and they will appear.

These barriers are assets, so there is no reason a game update should affect them in any way.
As the Railway Replacer mod that places them at crossings on has not experienced any issues with the update either, they should have all RWY functionality and behaviour.

Feel free to check out https://cslmodding.info/asset/vehicle/#color and https://cslmodding.info/scripts/#prop-shaders for a bit more info - note that only one shader may be used on a single mesh, and that props (which these barriers must be in order to be placed automatically) do not support submeshes and therefore must be a single mesh and therefore use a single shader.

Those use the vehicle shader which supports flashing lights, these use the traffic light shader which does not. As I mention 4 comments below, barriers that flash on demand are not currently possible.

Question??? How is it that we can have strobes on Firetrucks and Police cars but can't get a flashing sequence on these level crossings?

The shader used to do that is different from the traffic light shader these use, so at the moment there is no way to have the lights blink and also only turn on while a train is crossing. If I were to use the method Spence used there, the lights would flash constantly rather than just while the barriers are down.
If I do find a way to achieve fully realistic behaviour I will definitely update this pack, unfortunately as of now there is no such way.

@Strategy Nerd The "DOT: Regulatory Signs" pack comes with a pedestrian crossing sign with a rapid flashing beacon and its a prop. I'm pretty sure you can make the lights flash.

It's fixed, oddly when I used it with the BIG road packs, It wouldn't work on the regular small roads, but work on the others. I started making a new city, accidently made a crossing and it worked. I think you should look into it still, It happened on all of the presets.

This is almost certainly a one-off bug if the other barrier works normally, although I can take a look - which barrier is it?

Issue with a barrier - One of the barriers are stuck down (in animation, though vehicles appear to go through them still) while the other one operates normally.

so it appears something is wrong with the railway replacer mod, as my gantries are all forced to vanilla regardless of option selected, is there a workaround anyone knows of?

It's always possible to place additional signals manually - I didn't find the added complexity of a fourth pack to be worth the benefit, as larger signals than what is provided are rare.
