@Corvididae Yeah I figured it had to be something with the new update, only issue is with pre ftl interactions tho so I'll just disable this mod and turn it back on later into the game. Really hope it gets an update tho!

This is an amazing mod, many thanks for creating something so fantastic. I do have a question though, is it possible to play a game and have the AI NOT ascend, just me?

This mod is currently not updated for 3.7 compatibility. Only for 3.6. Using it for 3.7 is highly likely to cause issues, particularly with any content that was added or changed in 3.7.

@Maverick It's definitely this mod for me since the issue still persists even with only this mod enabled but no others. There must be multiple different causes for this, for me it might have to do with me starting the game with my usual mods and then disabling some and continue playing for a bit to troubleshoot another issue (which wasn't due to this mod since that issue persisted after disabling it) and then re enabling them

I can exclude this mod from the spy-issue as well since I have not activated it since 3.7 but have it with primitives and other empires. With the later I can place a spy but not access the tab from then on until the envoy is placed somewhere else.

I'm having an issue with this mod breaking primitive espionage and making it inaccessible for me (simply says "can't spy on them" and grays out the tab), is anyone else seeing this issue? I found it was this mod after turning off most of my others, the only ones still enabled at the same time being L gate access, More ascension perks and Tiny outliner

@[DREAM] Anthony The reason is so you can customize your ZOFE experience, which I guess makes sense for some of them. Not everyone wants to fight the custodians or have FEs and whatnot buffed. But it does honestly feel like missing out on content, which well... it is.

despite turning off all the mods except for the Zenith, I mean mods that have acension stuff.

Answering questions here since apparently, they don't bother reporting in the discord.

If your pops turned into FE Hedonists and has given you Ancient Palaces, then there's an issue with the mods you have.

Having the Merger of Rules might resolve your issues, otherwise check your mods and then make a proper report to the mod causing the issue.

Combat Computers must be tied to specific ships, hence ZOFE has its own combat computers for their ships, it's not too much of a big deal, really.

Hello, I have two issues with the mod,
1- as soon as I have ascended, all my pops became hedonists, and I do mean ALL of them. suddenly I am in the red and everything is ruined. I have no idea why that happened, but it is terrible for the game, and my research has plummeted and everything is bad now.

2-some of the FE buildings require a planetary administration, ie. Master archive, but the mod has given all my planets ancient palaces.

Add an option where you can ask an empire to give you 1pop of every of their species if you are fanatic xenophile.

My suggestion is to make T6 weapons 50% more powerful then T5. T7 200% more powerful then T5 and T8 300% more powerfull then T5.
So if T5 = 100, T6 = 150, T7 = 300 and T8 = 400.

Similar should also be applied to shields, hull, armor etc.

this way you can still have actual battles with empires that have lower tier tech without it resulting in a just 1 shot kill everything like it is now.

I really love the mods you made :) I can't play without them.

@kolyn Hi Kolyn, i love your mod serie, however i do want to point out that perhaps the T6 , T7 and T8 weapons/ship components might be too overpowered compared to T5 vanilla.

I compared for example the standard laser weapon of T5 with T6(dark matter) T7(omni) and T8 (original) . my findings are as followed:

T5 gamma laser average damage: =189 ( i take this as the baseline)
T6 dark laser average damage= 378 (so 100% increase compared to T5)
T7 compact omni lance average damage = 2084 (1155% increase comared to T5, 477% increase compared to T6)
T8 light of arya average damage = 4368 (2211% increase compared to T5, 1055% increase compared to T6 and 100% increase compared to T7)

This makes the T7 and T8 weapons basicly 1 shot kill weapons against pretty much anything. As such you wont really have any meaningfull battles once you have T7 or T8 an honestly even the T6 are OP compared to the T5.

I think they need to be rebalanced.

Ran into an Issue. I cannot use any precognitive interface component on the fallen empire ships (battle cruiser, escort, and fallen titan) other than the carrier variant. Indeed, no other variant other than the sapient AI versions are displayed, so you cannot put the lower tier components on either. The defense outpost and defense tower do allow you to use all of the potential combat computer components. Only having an issue with the ships. I don't have any other mods messing with ships or vanilla components.

@Maverick Thank you, but highly unlikely, because this mod is heavily built on vanilla ethics and mechanics. Any expansion of such would require extra coding to account for the extra ethics/civics, not to mention potential content needing to be created or potential bugs to be addressed/loopholes that comes from having extra ethic points. The amount of work involved is probably equivalent to making another ZoFE base mod, so I guess unless someone is really willing to spend 100s of hours on a patch, I guess that chance is very, very low, not to mention the fact they have to maintain it as well.
