sad this is dead, seems like the best combine sniper rifle mod compared to every other one out there, it just has a few annoying quirks about it

While I do think that overall, the weapon is a great and an accurate representation of the weapon in the game, I would like to see an option added in for an overlay that's accurate to the scope
crosshair on the model in the game a-la previous Combine Snipers like this one:

I believe the laser's origin point could also be changed to better reflect the model, as the Rifle's laser emiter is likely the small protrusion right above the barrel with a blue dot in it.

I also think that scoping while overlay mode is turned on that the Laser's position should be centered to right under the scope.

This gun would feel a lot more reasonable if you could only fire while scoped so it could only be used as a long range weapon and so the laser giving you away is always a risk. As it is, it's easier to just use it as an instant kill close range weapon and no-scope people up close.

Very cool and vanilla feeling weapon, my only problem is that the "Sniper Ammo" must be used to collect in sandbox mode while all other HL2 ammo pickups happen on touch.

I don’t know if you do requests TankNut but if so could you add a feature to the sniper to use the last weapon used key bind? I mean it somewhat works but only happens once. And also could you add the default crosshair for using normal mode? If you don’t do requests I apologize for this message. But anyway good mod 10/10

Great mod, man. I love how accurately this recreates the npc_sniper as well. Could you maybe add a console command like csniper_reset_settings or something like that incase someone messed with the commands/settings and couldn't remember the default settings? thanks.

Then I think the only reasonable option left is that some other addon is deleting the projectile when it's fired. Any other method would undoubtedly cause some kind of error and be detectable because of that.

No, nothing is mentioning csniper_bullet and there is only the firing sound. If I shoot a wooden box, it doesn't break and there is no damage left on it.

Are there any other weird lines being printed into the server console when you fire? Something mentioning csniper_bullet specifically. Otherwise check if there are any errors popping up while TTT is loading.

Another question would be what sounds are specifically playing? Do you only hear the firing sound or does it play the sonic 'boom' as well? Are you running any mods that might add 'things' to the player that the bullet could be hitting when it's being fired?
