because i forgor to get anti gray/lead defenses up ahead

when they sometimes went off the track when spawning in they went back on track
also i almost died to a blimp due to poor defenses on the blimp entrance

Actually, considering the age of this map, it's possible that it's still using the old pathfinding system. I'll try to consider updating this map at some point to use the new pathfinding system.

god damnit im pretty sure i used the DRGbase version of that one on a flatgrass revamp and now the map is broken

i dont know how to regenerate the navmesh it might just be regenerating immediately

Did you regenerate the navmesh? The map already has a meticulously-designed navmesh, regenerating it causes the map to break completely

ITS FUCKING BROKEN THE GBALLOONS PHASE THROUGH THE GOD DAMN WINDOWS AND I ALMOST LOST BECAUSE THE GBLIMP PHASED THROUGH THE FUCKING WINDOW
AND I DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH SAWBLADE LAUNCHERS TO DEAL WITH THE ERROR GBALLOONS

Just go ahead. It's in a different engine anyway, I don't think your map will be at all similar to this once you're done.

Piengineer12, not sure if you're going to see this, but BTD6 got a Map Editor, I was planning on turning some RotgB maps into BTD6 maps, but I decided that I should get permission. This Map Editor has no description thingy, just the title of the map (so unfortunately I can't credit you (Unless I make the name just Heatwave, then I should have enough characters to credit you maybe (title of the map can have 40 characters in total))). So, if you want to, I can make BTD6 maps that are just RotgB maps (I just would need your permission (don't want to steal work from people (or something like that))). Well, anyways, hope you have a great day!!!

The map is three years old, mute buttons weren't the norm back then. I'll consider adding one sometime in the future.

Hey, I'm very late to reading the update log for ROTGB but I saw that you added gBlimp paths! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication and I will definitely play around with this new toy.

I'm still alive haha. Honestly I actually forgot RotgB existed for a bit, which is why nothing was happening.

I'm currently working on the addon itself, since right now it feels rusty on a few parts. I did however leave some documentation on this discussion page on how to make a RotgB map as well as the KeyValues the entities will accept.

Honestly if you want me to make more / improve upon the current maps you can just poke me about it, just in case I forget about it again.

Also, the exclusive gBlimp path suggestion is actually not that hard to implement. I might get working on that after the small addon overhaul.

Two things about these maps (and maybe even maps published after this comment)

1. There is something really charming about dev textures that I can't quite put my finger on. Don't worry about putting actual textures on the map, because I think a simple gray tower/neutral area and an orange path for the gBalloons to follow is good enough (at least texture-wise)

2. I worry that no new ROTGB maps are in development anymore, maybe because the developer got bored and decided to move on to something else, maybe it's because the developer simply can't for whatever reason, who knows. A suggestion to put out there from me would be to provide a guide for the community on how to properly build and script ROTGB maps in Hammer.

(A bonus suggestion): I think making an exclusive spawner and path for gBlimps may not only add opportunities for insane ideas and creativity, but also add a much needed challenge to the maps.

The 2.0 RotgB update broke it, you need to press the auto-start button twice to disable auto-start. I might come back to this map to fix it though.

Nope, it's just that everything is dev textures because I have considerably awful taste in art, so I didn't bother to give everything proper textures.
