I'm currently working on the addon itself, since right now it feels rusty on a few parts. I did however leave some documentation on this discussion page on how to make a RotgB map as well as the KeyValues the entities will accept.
Honestly if you want me to make more / improve upon the current maps you can just poke me about it, just in case I forget about it again.
Also, the exclusive gBlimp path suggestion is actually not that hard to implement. I might get working on that after the small addon overhaul.
1. There is something really charming about dev textures that I can't quite put my finger on. Don't worry about putting actual textures on the map, because I think a simple gray tower/neutral area and an orange path for the gBalloons to follow is good enough (at least texture-wise)
2. I worry that no new ROTGB maps are in development anymore, maybe because the developer got bored and decided to move on to something else, maybe it's because the developer simply can't for whatever reason, who knows. A suggestion to put out there from me would be to provide a guide for the community on how to properly build and script ROTGB maps in Hammer.
(A bonus suggestion): I think making an exclusive spawner and path for gBlimps may not only add opportunities for insane ideas and creativity, but also add a much needed challenge to the maps.
