@91AR AnkGrooger Per Valve the owners of Steam themselves mod authors do have copyright to their own mods https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Mod_Content_Usage

Well, @AnkGrooger, people are pissed about their items being bootlegged by other people. creators spend a lot of time making items, when some person re-releases it weeks later, with no credit, or anything. It is just shameless, and is a problem everywhere. I do agree with you on mods being broken, and fixed by other creators, but ultimately, it is the original creator that has the power over the item, because they were the ones that originally made the item.

I see im about a year late to this. but DraygoKorvan "rights" and "copyright" doesnt cover mods. If someone takes credit for it you cant say its "copyrighted" or "patterned". under the official copyright law act of 1988 patterned or copyrighted material may only be copyrighted/patterned for organizational use/global interaction.

Therefore, a mod for a game doesnt count as copyright. Plus its in steams TOS that you obviously have the right to it, but you cant stop others from claiming credit. I could if i wanted to but i have honor in my work. Plus you cant stop other people from uploading copies of your work if you even wanted to.

The amount of copyright claimers i see is rediculus. You may never see this as this is a year old, and its a shame about this mod as me and my friends enjoyed doing big fleet battles (we use this version now, some SE updates have broken it a bit however).

nbp 28 Apr, 2021 @ 8:32am
hi you upload this mod to mod.io plz sir
ManedWolf 31 Oct, 2020 @ 7:15am
That's GREAT !

Now I just need to know how to build watercrafts and waterships that float, and submarines that float and dive without water getting in.
Tsubasa  [author] 13 Sep, 2020 @ 12:51am
Whoops, imma add your name in there, sorry bout that
DraygoKorvan 29 Aug, 2020 @ 8:40am
Regardless if he talked to me or not, he cannot claim rights to my work.
Tsubasa  [author] 29 Aug, 2020 @ 6:30am
i thought he talked about it to you did he not?
DraygoKorvan 26 Aug, 2020 @ 1:20pm
'All rights are reserved to its original creator Bobert.' I didn't know Bobert claimed all rights to my work as well.

I tried the mod on the water and found that when the ship’s touch is on the ground, it loses buoyancy and sinks regardless of the damage, and the area that the bottom of the bed becomes a stationary object. Perhaps the formula needs refinement. I made a marine dredger and touching the drill against the bottom sank the ship itself was on the surface of the drill discharge field the ship became completely uncontrollable to sink. There may be a conflict in the calculation of buoyancy and damage. In general, the mod has the right to click.

Yes, the visual no longer works but the mechanics still works

Also Spiritplumber worked on his version which now has correct water visuals (though different from what it originally looked like)
philndoug 10 Apr, 2020 @ 1:34pm
It does still work, though, like mechanically?
I sawed your boat in half! 8 Apr, 2020 @ 11:43am
oh small grid still works?
Lystent 8 Apr, 2020 @ 10:42am
Thanks for the info! (Dang though...)
Tsubasa  [author] 8 Apr, 2020 @ 7:21am
Keen disabled CPU draw, so now this mod will not have the water visuals
Please use Klime's small grid water mod which now uses a different draw method to create the water surface effect on planet
Lystent 7 Apr, 2020 @ 8:54pm
Good to know; thanks!
I sawed your boat in half! 7 Apr, 2020 @ 6:17pm
because the weather mod messed with this, I'm guessing frostbite also did. all my planets with it are... just deleted?
Lystent 30 Mar, 2020 @ 10:13am
Unfortunately it appears as though the water surface visual is broken. No loading errors were thrown, so I do not think it is a missing texture. I also do not know if it is related to the invisible engineer bug, but I hope Keen fixes it if it is.
SpecterShift 15 Mar, 2020 @ 6:04am
thank u sir!!
Tsubasa  [author] 15 Mar, 2020 @ 5:50am
Use the Medieval Planet for water mod made by Ryukky; the map height needs to be lower than usual for the mod to spawn water
SpecterShift 15 Mar, 2020 @ 5:46am
It's not working?
VectorMane 6 Feb, 2020 @ 7:48am
The ice comments everyone sees is from people who don't know how to use this mod. There will only be water on the surface of planets that support it. All planets do have water though, but it would be below the surface, in other words, dig yourself a hole and find the water yourself on custom/vanilla planets.

Do ctl-f8 and look under the ice
t301 15 Sep, 2019 @ 3:26am
Hi, I activated the mod and spawned an earth planet, but nothing happens, no water at all, only ice. What am I doing wrong?
Nickus Dickus 31 Jul, 2019 @ 1:36pm
This liquid water mod must be a bitch to code for... I guess that's why it got taken down. I bet Space Engineers 2 will have flowing rivers and oceans along side proper orbital mechanics...
Brisket 26 Jul, 2019 @ 7:24pm
I'm a C# Developer, I could try looking at it a bit later. It'd be good to see this thig going again.
Tsubasa  [author] 26 Jul, 2019 @ 9:10am
You just need to download Ryukky's Medieval Engineers World from the Workshop. He has already updated his workshop files, you only need to download that world directly without any additional modifications.
XXX_SniperSlayer42069_XXX 25 Jul, 2019 @ 5:27pm
Do you need to create a new world for the water to work?
LeapedSiren97 24 Jul, 2019 @ 5:55pm
Saw too many ice comments
LeapedSiren97 24 Jul, 2019 @ 5:54pm
Probably cause people where bitching about ice
John Helldiver 24 Jul, 2019 @ 5:31pm
I wonder why the original water mod was deleted.
Novum33 24 Jul, 2019 @ 3:12pm
still no reupload 2
yellow51 21 Jul, 2019 @ 7:30am
I will maintain that one for as long as I can.
yellow51 21 Jul, 2019 @ 7:30am
@Tsubasa Once my reupload is done you can put "[Redirect link to working mod in description]" on this mod's title.
yellow51 21 Jul, 2019 @ 7:28am
Keep meaning to reupload it. Will try to do so today.
DeAnti 19 Jul, 2019 @ 3:47pm
thankx terd ferguson.. and thank you for re upload youre a boss!!!
yellow51 19 Jul, 2019 @ 12:36pm
Will have a more official unofficial version out later, working on new water textures and sounds.
Ryukki 19 Jul, 2019 @ 12:29pm
Medieval water world is working again! :D
Tsubasa  [author] 19 Jul, 2019 @ 10:58am
Unfortunately at this point the water mod requires a specific solution
If you want to use the water mod on other planets:
- open Ryukky's ME world
- remove the planet from the mod list to delete it (or alternatively use SE toolbox)
- spawn in your favourite planet and paste it exactly where the original planet is

though for the time being I suggest you just use Ryukky's ME world to reduce unnecessary hassle
Novum33 19 Jul, 2019 @ 10:56am
i was trying to use terra aqua
Tsubasa  [author] 18 Jul, 2019 @ 8:55pm
@jacof33 use the Medieval Engineers' planet WORLD made by Ryukky, replace the Experimental Water Mod (or a deleted mod with red numbers) with this mod; Directly installing this mod does not magically spawn water on a planet.
Novum33 18 Jul, 2019 @ 3:36pm
it didn't work when i started a world with it:steamsad:
yellow51 18 Jul, 2019 @ 7:18am
Maybe, but not much because I have just started learning C#.
Tsubasa  [author] 17 Jul, 2019 @ 9:11pm
Really? that's amazing to hear!
Will there be any changes to the codes?
yellow51 17 Jul, 2019 @ 8:57pm
I will have a better version of the Water Mod out tomorrow sometime. Making better textures, so it's a little more realistic.
