I installed this, but then it destroyed all my defense stations as normal, like the mod was not even on. It was very irritating

Hello Dominator, your Assembly mods "in the war" I am extremely interested in. I've been interested in modding in Stellaris for a long time, but I only started doing it fully in the last month. By myself, I only learn the basics of modding, but I have already analyzed some of your mods by updating the Planetary Guns. Can I take some of the ideas/code from your modpack to bring your ideas back to life in 2.8, combining them with my idea of Stellaris of the future. Sorry for my English I am not know in very well. Can I try publishing them again?

Is it this one that is broken? This mod only preserves defense platforms like starbases. If you're talking about slots on starbases and defence platforms, that's a part of the Starbase Improvements mod, and it is a result of Paradox changing the way they do section templates. I'm working on fixes for that that I'll be posting later today or tomorrow at the latest, and can support them there.

Fallen empire support may be broken. I think you need to have

instead of

last i played was on november 11, and its seems the last time the game was updated was november 4th. it was still working then. so it shouldn't need to be updated.

Hello, I was unable to see the menu in game for v2.5 (just started a new one so unable to check if it's actually working). I replicated them mod in private with a new descriptor and it works fine, so I think the only change needed is in the descriptor...

Okay does anybody know why it is not working? my stations just get destroyed like in the normal game. I dont know if it only happens with the Progenitors in the Ancient cache of technology mod or if it is happening all the time because no one managed to destroy a base other than them

As DPL isn't fully compatible with Zenith of the Fallen Empires
This should be enough for compatibility when it comes to country types and shouldn't conflict with anything

Currently the mod doesn't interact with ZOFE's Ascended Empires or those who have renounced their ascendancy, resulting in some platform shenanigans during total war

Notice I did not include if check on the has_global_flag = eac_aw_dpl_fallen_awakened_allowed, unlike eac_aw_dpl_actions.1 and eac_aw_dpl_actions.1000. This is because these events deal with waking disabled platform back up, and already filter to only run on disabled platforms.
If a fallen empire manages to get a hold of a disabled platform with the option off, whether through conquest or the user turning the option on and back off again, then those platforms should should still fall under the wakeup logic instead of sitting there unrepaired for all eternity.

I'm not sure if the Fallen/Awakened Empire option is working correctly. The starbases get disabled, but never "wake back up".

I looked at the events and saw that
eac_aw_dpl_actions.2, eac_aw_dpl_actions.3, eac_aw_dpl_actions.4, and eac_aw_dpl_actions.10 still trigger on owner = { is_country_type = default }, instead of also checking for fallen empires like the eac_aw_dpl_actions.1 does

I'm just starting a game with it and looking at the options, it shows 360 days for the timed negative modifier, however it only displays as 36 days, is that supposed to be, is it just a visual issue or technical as well?

Added the option to turn on for Fallen and Awakened Empires. When turned on, all FE/AE platforms will switch to going disabled and any new ones created will as well. Turning off the option will stop new FE/AE defense platforms from switching to disabled but any already set to disable will still behave that way as there is no way to undo the set disabled setting.
