Really sad to see this not in the new versions. I loved those ocean planets that were completely water.

To quote the second sentence of the description: "No longer updated, will remain as a legacy mod."
Pitlos Tails 14 Nov, 2022 @ 8:59am
will you ever make an update for this mod?:(
Lex Peregrine  [author] 2 Apr, 2022 @ 8:52am
Hi Brant-Flir! Thank you for your praise! Please keep my new mod All These Worlds in your sights, you currently do not have the option to colonize the moon or Mars right away, but its planned for the future. I will be resuming work on it very soon!

Somehow this works again in 3.3.4 for Sol System, except for Luna and Mars, unfortunately. This was a great mod with the way you could colonize the moon and mars right away, and the regolith buildings. Made an Earth start very fun. Thanks for making this mod Lex Peregrine.

Any way to get the Subterranean Colonization as a Sub Mod? That is one of the Features I enjoyed most with this sub-mod

“ Compatible with Stellaris 2.8. No longer updated, will remain as a legacy mod.”

not work
Lex Peregrine  [author] 1 Sep, 2021 @ 10:22am
@Legendary Hunter: sorry I only saw this now. Unfortunately this mod is no longer being updated and most content is already merged with Planetary Diversity, which does make Sol system more realistic than vanilla, as several planets have proper classes, no molten mercury or toxic venus for instances.
ItzRaiden 26 Aug, 2021 @ 6:45am
Hi, just a quesiton about the mod.

How realistic/accurate is this mod with our home system as of now? Because I saw some of your screenshots and I am very tempted to add this into my planned YT series

@LokiCharms: Nice to see you're still around ;) We should talk on discord!
Lex Peregrine  [author] 9 Jun, 2021 @ 11:22am
@136672820: There's a new mod comming, but it will not be for Planetary DIversity. Most of my content is already part of Planetary DIversity, and im working on something different.
1366727820 9 Jun, 2021 @ 5:28am
Thank you for your reminder, but I want to know if there will be another new mod, which is a new version of PLANETARY DIVERSITY New Worlds Module
LokiCharms 8 Jun, 2021 @ 4:21am
1366727820,
If you read just a few comments down from the author you'll have your answer.

When will this be updated
Lex Peregrine  [author] 22 Apr, 2021 @ 5:39am
No
hongying 21 Apr, 2021 @ 9:39pm
Is this mod 3.0.2 working properly?
TheDestroyer 20 Apr, 2021 @ 4:14am
Oh, that indeed looks good.
Lex Peregrine  [author] 19 Apr, 2021 @ 6:11am
Here's an example of what I meant with new render for the planet info screen. [c10.patreonusercontent.com] The texture is from NW, using a new atmospheric haze effect. You can find every planet class with a screenshot showing both texture and render a few posts down on my patreon page.
Lex Peregrine  [author] 19 Apr, 2021 @ 6:06am
Vanilla worlds never looked this good! [c10.patreonusercontent.com]
Lex Peregrine  [author] 19 Apr, 2021 @ 6:04am
No it will be an alternate version, it will use both new assets as well as PD art. 90% of the planet textures are new or from NW, also 90% of the planets get new renders on the planet info screen (asteroids and stars are the exception, as well as special cases like shattered worlds etc), but shortly after you colonize a habitable world you get to choose where in the planet to build the colony, from a list of a few possibilities if the world is multi-biome, and this is where PD assets come in, along with other features. There's a lot more info on my patreon page, no content is hidden, I do not require donations to show you my progress, and when I get a beta version working it will also be free.
Watchman 18 Apr, 2021 @ 4:57am
What that mod is going to be about, if it is going to be fully compatible with PD?
Lex Peregrine  [author] 18 Apr, 2021 @ 4:45am
Yea, new mod is coming, but that one will not be an add-on for PD. As for New Worlds, its basically merged with PD.
Watchman 17 Apr, 2021 @ 2:34pm
Ok, thanks
Just some "new mod" was mentioned, that's why I am asking...
tilarium 17 Apr, 2021 @ 2:21pm
No longer updated usually means no new verisons
Watchman 17 Apr, 2021 @ 2:19pm
So, wait a sec, there is going to be separate version for 3.0, or no new version at all?
Lex Peregrine  [author] 17 Apr, 2021 @ 6:02am
Thank you Regingleif!
XBP Amou 16 Apr, 2021 @ 3:43pm
ok, ty for your efford!!! love your mods! ty!!
Lex Peregrine  [author] 15 Apr, 2021 @ 10:11am
Before anyone asks, this mod will no longer be updated, and I will leave it up as a legacy 2.8 mod, for those who do not patch and keep using the same version of PD as well. Two reasons: Planetary Diversity has already added most of this mod's planets and the few exceptions are not worth the effort of updating right now; Im working on a new version and do not have time to keep 2 different mods. I ask you to check my Patreon page on the red button above, you dont need to donate anything to look at all the screenshots and info I've posted about the new mod.
Lex Peregrine  [author] 15 Apr, 2021 @ 10:07am
You're welcome! :)
ChartSkyWalker 15 Apr, 2021 @ 9:42am
Thanks for All modders
Lex Peregrine  [author] 12 Mar, 2021 @ 2:09pm
The terraforming candidate has to be present to allow uninhabitable worlds to be terraformed. This mod is in the process of being assimilated into Planetary Diversity, by now most of the original features have been disabled in favor of replacements being added to PD. I also have not decided yet if I will keep updating this when the new DLC comes out, as I need to keep focusing on the new mod.
dixiearistocrat 11 Mar, 2021 @ 7:40pm
nvm i figured out about the marginal worlds. but im not getting options to terraform hot reducing worlds. for some reason.
dixiearistocrat 11 Mar, 2021 @ 7:10pm
HI FOR SOME REASON I NEVER SEE THE IRRIDIATED OR WARM MARGINAL WORLDS THE OCEAN WORLDS ETC. I SEE SOME OF THESE BUT NOT ALL WHY IS THIS?
Robotic Caretaker 10 Mar, 2021 @ 12:06pm
I went to the planetary Habitats mod and found this a mod to dissemble a Hab so if I want I can build a Underground Colony
Lex Peregrine  [author] 10 Mar, 2021 @ 12:01pm
You too!
Robotic Caretaker 10 Mar, 2021 @ 11:57am
OK, well again thank you for your time. Have a good day!
Lex Peregrine  [author] 10 Mar, 2021 @ 11:55am
Yea from what I understand, when you build the mega-structure, it changes the planet class to the planetary habitat, thats why the terraform link no longer works, and there is no code on Planetary Diversity's side to remove my modifier. The two features (underground colonies and planetary habitats) dont play well together, and I believe Planetary Diversity may be adding a variant of the underground colonies soon, so this is another feature of NW that is going away in the future.
Robotic Caretaker 10 Mar, 2021 @ 11:48am
But the Underground Colony Candidate modifier is still on Luna
Robotic Caretaker 10 Mar, 2021 @ 11:47am
It is a mega-structure you get at the start of the game that you built on barren worlds and airless worlds. Then the world turns into a Barren World Habitat that you can colonize but with severe damage to max districts.
Lex Peregrine  [author] 10 Mar, 2021 @ 11:39am
There may be yes. Do you mean you built an habitat on Luna? I dont recall exacly how planetary habitats work, but they dont play well together.
Robotic Caretaker 10 Mar, 2021 @ 3:58am
It is not letting me terraform even though I have terrestrial sculpting. Is there a incompatibility between this mod and Planetary Habitats, because I built a colony on Luna. I checked the game the hab is the problem because it lets me terraform Europa, thank you for your time.
Lex Peregrine  [author] 8 Mar, 2021 @ 11:10am
You can only build them in worlds where the Underground modifier is found, like Luna and Europa. But you must still terraform them, so you need Terrestrial Sculpting. It will work as if you're terraforming to the same planet class, but in the end it will change to an underground environment you can colonize.
Robotic Caretaker 8 Mar, 2021 @ 4:19am
Hello how does one build underground colonies?
Lex Peregrine  [author] 6 Mar, 2021 @ 10:23am
@Snoopy Lion: I found the bug and fixed it, thanks!
I also have disabled my changes to the Hothouse, it will now be uninhabitable. Dont forget to choose to give Venus the terraforming candidate modifier at the start of the game, that also changes Venus to a Hothouse you can later terraform.
Snoopy Lion 6 Mar, 2021 @ 9:36am
After some testing, what happens now is that the planets do load correctly, but the moon, titan, and europa do not get their candidate modifiers, I assume disabling NW's stuff is supposed to look like that though?

Venus with the mod on also turns into a 10% habitable hothouse planet with 15 city districts, not sure if the latter is intended behavior.
Lex Peregrine  [author] 6 Mar, 2021 @ 8:34am
Mod has been updated.
@Snoopy Lion: thanks for the report, can you check if this still happens with the new version? I have disabled NW's sol system query in favor of the one from Planetary Diversity, so the sol system should now be using PD code only.
Snoopy Lion 6 Mar, 2021 @ 8:23am
I'm having the same problem. I'm not sure what exactly is causing it, but it happens even when the only mods I have on are planetary diversity and this one.
Einstein von Brainstorm 4 Mar, 2021 @ 1:17pm
HI. In Sol is a Bug. After start new game Triton, Europa and Titan completely lost textures. They are black or invisible and cannot be select.
