All you have to do is delete the wheels that are colliding with each other, then it is back to its normal self. Sadly I cant update it as I lost the file when moving over to a new PC.

That was something I built for fun but it wasn't too handy so I didn't include it, you can see what blocks were used to build it in the picture if you wish to add it on.

This is my first tank design. I really like the style on it, but now I am trying to design a main battle tank, and it isn't going well, and google or Youtube isn't giving me much, as i try to avoid mods

As it was my first tank design ever, I was just rolling with whatever came to my mind; mainly designs that didn't look like any normal tank. The only building advice I have is to try making blocky areas rounded; and flat surfaces detailed with blocks and ground down parts. Just keep practicing and you'll learn some tricks eventually :)

soldier go get the mart script from the workshop and turn in-game scripts on in advanced settings (it will automatically turn on, you dont have to do anything past that) then it should turn once (with your mouse) you turn off the rotor locks

theres a rotor lock group on the taskbar when you enter the cockpit.

Well cosidering it needs pistons in the rear to give it gun depression, pretty bad haha.
It was a decission of making something unique from the rest vs functional like the rest,
so I settled with a mix of both :papyrus:

@Ninjabread I would assume you ran it through some good tests! I know it has its flaws from its asthetics but for my first tank (thats taken my lazy but 2 years to build) I think it does alright! :papyrus:

I went to check that right after posting and there is 'Send To' setting. Not sure if it's supposed to be like that, but in solo game i had nothing to chose there.
Creators seem to build as -Me- or -Nobody- and pated creations inherit this ownership. I'd suggest pasting out of Your turret tange and changing the owner of entire grid, or simply unchecking 'Target Neutral' for Your turrets..

As of what i know, You can specify who will own the pasted grid. Propably you have it set to -Nobody-, while station is set to -You-. By default turrets shoot neutrals, and You are neutral to -Nobody-.

When I paste it in to my world, my turrets on my station start firing at it. I have tried to make another blueprint of it but that doesn't work. I don't know if this is a common issue with other people.

@rroby try pressing the spacebar as sometimes pasted vehicles have a glitch where the handbrake is stuck.

@Dakroth Glad you like the fleet :) unfortunately in survival; sub grids need to be made seperately as projectors cant project something for another grid. To be honest, a tank is more of a nice to have than a need to have for Survival, Tanks can be pretty impractical in survival and are generally more used ofr creative battles.
If you need a turreted vehicle for survival then I would suggest the RCSP Prowler as that has a turret on it as well, and it can be easily made in survival.

Though I've never had the opportunity to use RCSP creations much, they always impress me in their appearance. (I actually used the atmo gun transport thing a lot, and it worked wonderfully with a minimum of personal optimizations haha)

Question, does the primary body of the tank contain projectors for the turret parts? Trying to build these in survival generally involves an extensive amount of creative-mode spawning, dismantling and sub-blueprinting everything, which is kind of a pain. Having the sub-unit part plans built in would be lovely :)
