These are the best! I use them for far-away power to pump and wastewater and to jump dead areas or a couple of buildings before there is need for full infrastructure.

I adore this. I personally use Customize It! to set the upkeep to 80 (under the abstraction that you're importing power from buried cables along the highway, as it generates power out of thin air), and add a small noise generation. That way, it's identical to a wind power plant in cost over time -- technically *more* expensive than wind power per MWh -- but still has advantages in aesthetic, footprint, reduced noise pollution, up front cost, and reliability.

I think the 3 MW is balanced as-is relative to the wishful thinking of Colossal Order's wind power plants (which are at least 33% to 50% more powerful than in reality). If a user wants to rebalance this to be a more realistic 2 MW, then the power generation of wind should also be adjusted to a peak of 4~6 MW instead of 8 MW. So I advocate against changing the power generation in the base stats.

Thank you so much for making this!!! Amazing mod!
Also great for making detailed suburbs!

This. Is. Game. Changing. It is tiny, doesn't need a road, and has decent power that lets you start neighborhoods without needing to run power lines, or fire up your water and sewage without needing a wind turbine. Just...THANK YOU!!

This amazing asset has changed my gameplay. I would have a very difficult time playing Cities Skylines with out it.

gives too much energy for a substation

@Zircon - Those big grass patches are Fine Tall Lush Grass by pdelmo. The theme is Monte Belo and some of the shorter vegetation, believe it or not, is actually from the ParkLife expansion. They've created a subset of trees for ground cover and they're actually quite nice looking.

The LUT's probably Owl's cinematic 1 and I've done a bit with the FOV and lighting with post-process and Relight.

great way to add power without two many powerlines. great for residental neighborhoods as well as parks.

What is the mod the trees and grass you have on pictures please please?

@landandskygirl - FYI, if you're not using a custom set of icon images, a UI icon is generated from the position of the preview when you import the model. I sometimes do it a few times to make sure it looks right, lighting, time of day, etc. It's the little details, right?

@ [BA] Scar. Thanks! I guess this is somewhere between a substation and a transformer box. But I see these quite a bit in the region where I live (which is also pretty rural).

But Quite Good Looking Nonetheless

Small, no extra props, good UI icon. You're the best 200hertz!

@sffc - You're welcome! That was the idea.
sffc 7 Thg06, 2018 @ 1:17am
Thank you! Looks useful for powering isolated remote buildings without needing giant power lines.

Like the look of this.thank you
