uses same power as doors, they are however advanced doors, and keen doesn't use that door type in any of their doors, it's only a modders door type because it has extra functions like rotation settings. can use as many as you want
xoham 22 mrt om 12:50
Does the door take a lot of power? Ordinary sliding doors work when the grid power system is loaded but the rotating ones become disabled. Is there an issue with having multiple doors on the same grid? Love it otherwise.

@Morndenkainen What is this "Lag Profiler" thing you are using to find what is causing your server to chug? Just the F1 menu stuff? Or is there something more in depth with more info?
MagicMarker 1 jan om 2:46
Love, LOVE, *L*O*V*E* this door!
If a better door is even imaginable, it has yet to be invented! Thanks for sharing.
nukeguard  [auteur] 13 nov 2024 om 13:30
If you could provide screenshots of this evidence, I can make a ticket with keen about it
nukeguard  [auteur] 13 nov 2024 om 13:29
Keen doesn't actually use this door type in any of their blocks and probably aren't concerned with it much, it's a modders door type only so far. I'm not doing anything special on the door, the door block itself is labeled as airtight, so it should never leak, so I don't know why it's lagging like that.
Morndenkainen 13 nov 2024 om 13:26
I really like this mod, It's awesome for server play because it keeps noobs from blowing out your ship's O2 constantly and cuts down on having to BUILD airlocks. Problem is, every time I do a lag profile on a server, these blocks show up as a disproportionately large percentage of the lag that the grid generates... Why do these create so much more lag than a regular door? It's not like it's doing anything special. Is there some constant call to detect which side of the block is currently airtight?

The lag profiler reports say these things create more lag than assemblers and refineries...

I boosted the speed, by 50 on both and I am loving it!!! Thanks for making a solid mod!!!
TK_Over50 30 sep 2024 om 11:19
Thanks!! I didn't think about that!!
nukeguard  [auteur] 29 sep 2024 om 7:05
put the inset light above it and then extend light into airlock space
TK_Over50 29 sep 2024 om 6:44
Thanks. I could use a touch more light in there. Or, an adjustable light.
nukeguard  [auteur] 29 sep 2024 om 5:36
no, that's a texture and keens effects
TK_Over50 28 sep 2024 om 6:48
Is there a was to turn up the light luminescence?
TK_Over50 28 sep 2024 om 6:47
Turn it up???
nukeguard  [auteur] 25 sep 2024 om 15:43
4 speed settings for the 4 separate doors, 2 for large and 2 for small. Idk how fast you can go, not tried.
TK_Over50 25 sep 2024 om 9:46
I absolutely love this Mod. I would like to know, if I edit the SBC to speed the opening operation, will I mess up the settings? Is there a eperate configuration file? Will the mod see the edit as an error?

The default speed is 100 and 130, what is the max (without breaking anything, including myself)? There are 4 speed sections. 2 for each door, (section 1 & corner). Is there a ratio or formula that I should follow?

I have this on every build, I really don't want it disappearing or blowing a hole in my ship. Trial and Error has Clang in it somewhere!!! Thanks in advance.
nukeguard  [auteur] 24 sep 2024 om 17:39
I appreciate the applause :-) Glad you like it!
SpaceKitteth 24 sep 2024 om 10:27
I really like this door.
GloBeast 9 sep 2024 om 18:34
Fan-flipping-tastic! It's a must. Well done!
nukeguard  [auteur] 3 sep 2024 om 17:48
OH, I forgot to change the logo on the other one!
jetblade545 2 sep 2024 om 21:26
just wanted to let you know you used to different logos on the outside for the straight vs the angled door, personally i like the one on the straight door more.
nukeguard  [auteur] 23 jun 2024 om 10:34
yep, this is a time, space, and air saver mod. :-)
Solarwind 15 jun 2024 om 23:37
vanilla airlocks have two settings you got the double door waste tons of air cos you go in and out a lot are you set up an airlock properly in vanilla with timer blocks or scripts and it's so f****** slow and speed up if want to work
Teknodweeb 7 mei 2024 om 12:50
Love it, use it every time I play!
Max Thruster 24 apr 2024 om 23:27
A "Can't do without this" Mod. Thank you.
nukeguard  [auteur] 14 apr 2024 om 18:39
Thank you!
CosmicBob 13 apr 2024 om 20:24
An absolute must have addition to the base game. Incredibly useful for any pressurized builds. It literately makes it impossible to accidentally depressurize when entering or exiting. Crazy something like this isn't in the game already.
Great work!
Lampglow 12 mrt 2024 om 3:25
Excellent! No fiddling around with vents etc.
nukeguard  [auteur] 2 feb 2024 om 15:09
also, did you unlock it through progression if you have that on?
Abisius Xarvenius Carbensius 2 feb 2024 om 14:47
@goof goobernicus
did you add the mod to your worlds modlist inside the world options after subscribing to it?
Real Spamton G. Spamton 2 feb 2024 om 14:32
I dont find anything new in my game called airlock or rotary
PaganPilot 3 dec 2023 om 23:53
Agree with the others. Been using this for years and it is just critical to most games.
Cablife 28 nov 2023 om 8:26
This is the BEST QOL mod for space engineers. I don't understand how this isn't in the base game.
Mr. Pestbird 2 nov 2023 om 5:38
how can this not be in the base game. this is so awesome! thanks alot for making it.
Hazy Skies 7 okt 2023 om 11:36
Random idea I thought of while looking at the ingenious design and reading the addition of the 'L' shape versions. Would be pretty neat and useful to also have a close-able one sided version, which can be used for:
- A very compact and restrictive holding cell for detaining prisoners or other individuals.
- Allowing use as a purely decorative teleporter pad/chamber, Borg alcove, etc.
- Extremely minimal escape pod (hold on to those rails tight!).
- Guessing games ("What in pod #3?") or hiding places.
- Some kinda janitor's closet? I dunno.
Dr.Nuke 17 jun 2023 om 8:20
Just found this. It is awesome! Frankly, this seems an obvious miss by Keen. Really should be part of the vanilla game. Thanks for making our lives a little better! Great work.
nukeguard  [auteur] 17 apr 2023 om 12:55
which one causes the problem
EncryptedNeko 17 apr 2023 om 12:28
it is conflicting with mods used in the eternity build sense the last update i know it cause i removed 1 by 1 of each mod until i found the one causing the problem
nukeguard  [auteur] 15 apr 2023 om 17:12
This mod is not broken, works as it should
Abisius Xarvenius Carbensius 13 apr 2023 om 3:38
@DiZ_1989
yeah there where some probs with the bot not aiming at the correct subpart, which also did not let them complelty finish building them.
besides sometimes bots wanting to pass from both sides or movign i na way that they get stuck on the edge of the door they are able to pass them now.
DiZ_1989 12 apr 2023 om 21:37
@Abisius Last time I used AIEnabled, the bots couldn't navigate the door. It just sat there and kept opening and closing it. I assume because the door probably registers as closed either way to remain airtight, and the bot can't tell the difference.
DiZ_1989 12 apr 2023 om 21:35
@EncryptedNeko It works fine for me.
EncryptedNeko 12 apr 2023 om 14:55
this mod is broken
Jack Schitt 28 jan 2023 om 19:23
Love this! I won't play a game without it. IMO the devs should implement this in to the vanilla game. They've done that before with great mods like this.
Abisius Xarvenius Carbensius 12 jan 2023 om 1:29
@nukeguard
i did notice that depending on the stage of the door its relativ specific where you need to aim to build the door, which is causing some hickups while building stuff using the repair bots from ai enabled https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2596208372 once the middle part comes into existence.
Lead Hail 4 jan 2023 om 18:48
more than likely, a little while later I noticed other issues, apparently my Dedi Server hasn't been restarting like it's been told to, did a manual restart and everything is good, sorry to bother you.
nukeguard  [auteur] 4 jan 2023 om 18:13
sounds like a physics issue possibly
Lead Hail 4 jan 2023 om 17:45
Is anyone else having issues going through there door? I can walk in from one side no matter if open or closed but not the other no matter if open or closed.
nukeguard  [auteur] 27 dec 2022 om 10:21
there is a sound, it's not loud, just a 'sounds like a broom on a floor' sound
Bobbarækus 27 dec 2022 om 3:36
This is a great mod, it adds a lot of functionality over the standard doors and airlocks.
But is it just me, or does the door have no sound effects? You'd think there'd be a "swoosh" or something when it turns, but I can't hear anything when opening/closing it.
