Hi Cray935,

Just wanted to say thank you for making this mod. I loved playing with it pre 2.2. I can't wait to see what comes out of your updated one for 2.2! If you need any help, I am happy to lend my pathetic modding experience to the project.

Thanks again!

Thank you :)

I made a very stripped-down version that only really includes the ability to make pre-sapients and stone age primatives: https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1618263789

@AFK people just can’t read, yet they lead countries lol
Ghost Fox 5 janv. 2019 à 5h34
@Mizati
If it worked, would we be telling someone who complained about an infinite loop of faulty triggers that it's not supported?
GoblinEngineer 5 janv. 2019 à 5h11
@Ancient Gatekeeper I haven't actually tried to use this mod since the update, does it work?
AncientGatekeeper 1 janv. 2019 à 15h37
No support for 2.2
Because of limited time in RL and major changes in stellaris 2.2 I decided to stop this mod line. Maybe I get the time to start a new line of this mod, may be not. I encourage all the active modders to take over the mod's idea and bring it back to life for the upcomming patch :)

@Atokirina
What does the first blue line of the description say again?
Atokirina 1 janv. 2019 à 13h41
Causes an infinite loop of faulty triggers here

StunningKaiser 15 déc. 2018 à 15h08

Tubercle1801 15 déc. 2018 à 7h45
Thank you, Cray935 for making this awesome mod. I love the life engineering aspect of it. I'll play around with the files and see if they work for 2.2. Let me know if that is cool. Cheers for making it in the first place again!
Roger 12 déc. 2018 à 1h11
sucks to see this mod wont get any updates which is understandable due to many things.

I do hope a serious modder can take over this awesome mod.

I really appreciated on what you did for a long time, Cray935 :) I had much fun with this mod along with Enhanced Gene Modding.
Siets 11 déc. 2018 à 10h43
It makes me incredibly sad that I can't take those snobby fallen empires and turn them into stone age primatives anymore...
Skill Less  [créateur] 10 déc. 2018 à 11h13
hey guys, I know this seems to be painful for us all but as AFK said. I don't have much time to keep this mod up-to-date. Hopefully another member of the modding scene wants to bring the mod back to life :)
BillBaraka 10 déc. 2018 à 9h57
Please, oh Cray935, update this glorious Mod!
Ghost Fox 9 déc. 2018 à 5h26
Yes, what does the first blue line in the description say, again?
boo! 9 déc. 2018 à 5h07

"This is an issue of the other mod ;)

However if you can use the console, use the "research_technology" command to get the "len_tech_life_engineering" tech."

Bless you, mod maker. I love this mod as I tend to run a lot of bio-engineering empires and use the Ethics/Civils mod in cojunction, but I noticed that I could not find your mod as a perk. But again, thank you for providing a solution fix for this.
Mr.Akibrus 7 oct. 2018 à 16h11
k
Skill Less  [créateur] 7 oct. 2018 à 14h56
jepp, it'll end some years later by itself.
Mr.Akibrus 7 oct. 2018 à 14h55
how do I get past Hibernation do I just wait or?
Vlad_1492 5 oct. 2018 à 20h50
Thanks for the response. Looks like landing a small colony crew and setting up facilities will do it then. More species for the God-Emperor!
Roger 28 sept. 2018 à 2h43
Does this mod work with the custom species/ race mod?
Skill Less  [créateur] 27 sept. 2018 à 11h11
no
Vlad_1492 26 sept. 2018 à 17h08
Is there a way to *not* clear all the tile blockers when placing pre-sentient life?
Skill Less  [créateur] 29 aout 2018 à 3h29
This is an issue of the other mod ;)

However if you can use the console, use the "research_technology" command to get the "len_tech_life_engineering" tech.
Shoka 28 aout 2018 à 18h14
Life Engineering doesn't have it's respective perk when using Ethics and Civics overhaul without Traditions. The ascension perk is commented out in the Ethics/Civics mod; and since this mod requires that perk if they're both installed, you can't get into the Life Engineering.
Skill Less  [créateur] 25 aout 2018 à 3h31
aye, so I don't need to switch to planet scope then.. thanks. I upload it in a few minutes :)
geebo 24 aout 2018 à 8h41
It created seperate species, but they didn't have a portrait or a proper name, and I couldn't gene mod them. I fiddled around in len_lef_project_events, and found it worked when I used this for the create_species section

pop = {
create_species = {
is_mod = yes
name = this
plural = this
class = this
portrait = this
traits = {
trait = len_trait_promethean
}
homeworld = planet
}
}
geebo 20 aout 2018 à 8h14
Thanks I'll test it when I get a chance.
Skill Less  [créateur] 20 aout 2018 à 3h37
Consider it fixed now :) By the way the mod just sets the homeworld, there is no clear setting for the preference.
Skill Less  [créateur] 20 aout 2018 à 1h50
Thanks, I'll fix this soon
geebo 19 aout 2018 à 14h20
I think I'm getting the same error as corrupt_element. I've had 2 games with non-machine factions, and no matter what species I put on the tile it always produces a promethean version of my main species. Also the while the promethean species created is one of my primary species it has the same planetary preference of the species I put on the tile.
Skill Less  [créateur] 12 aout 2018 à 11h42
@The New Meta thanks for the clarification. I didn't know that it's enough to trigger the completion events. Good to know that we can "cheat" observation missions, too :)
Depraved Arachnophile 11 aout 2018 à 6h07
Found out theres actually event ids in the event files (go figure), and using the "event" command, along with the id to advance a society, I can skip through almost any stage AND activate any event I want.
Skill Less  [créateur] 11 aout 2018 à 1h07
@corrupt_element thanks for your report. do you encounter this issue only as driven assimilator or can your reproduce it with other species, too ?
nadesammich 10 aout 2018 à 12h53
Playing as driven assimilators, I used the promethean project on a planet full of cyborgs (not one robot pop on it) and on completion of the project, it spawned my main robot species and gave it the trait. Not a big issue, until I started having all of my leaders die from old age after applying that template to my entire empire. Kinda a weird bug
Skill Less  [créateur] 27 juil. 2018 à 9h22
I'm afraid no.
Depraved Arachnophile 26 juil. 2018 à 18h22
Is there a command to instant-complete a society advance? The first few ages (stone age-iron) are a bit of a bore-fest, and I want to skip through them.
Depraved Arachnophile 23 juil. 2018 à 14h43
oof looks like I have a hibernating species to wipe out.
Skill Less  [créateur] 23 juil. 2018 à 13h48
I believe it is a year. But some people mentioned that it does not work everytime. I did not find the issue though
Depraved Arachnophile 23 juil. 2018 à 13h39
It seems to be fixed. Also quick question, how long does it take a hibernating speices to awaken?
