Ok, done updating this for now. Orrie's doing a decent job of it lately, and I havent played the game in like a year, plus frustration with the stupid new launcher has killed my desire to keep this updated. Check out UI Overhaul Dynamic.

Yeah, they've f**ed with the launcher again, I can't get it to work either. I'm basically done fighting with these morons at Paradox. We'll see if they fix things soon.

*edit* I managed to get it going with the launcher update, but only by uninstalling THE LAUNCHER via add/remove programs, and then going and deleting all settings for it as noted in this post on the paradox forums...

Hello. On the launcher it says "!" required 2.3. I enable it anyway, but doesn't seem to do anything in-game.

@Bullet25 - I just loaded it up and it worked fine for me. The UI files havent been changed since October 2019, so you must be having some other issue.

Just an FYI... as many of you may have noticed, the new launcher is garbage. Uploading mods is semi-broken, and trying to deal with it is just a nightmare. Plus 3.4 launcher downloaded mods get unpacked, thus becoming unusable to previous stellaris versions. I wont go into all the problems (there's a thread over on paradoxplaza and a few here).

Good news, despite some small ui changes, this verision still works with both 3.3 and 3.4, so I wont be updating it until pdx fixes their launcher/mod issues, to preserve comptibility for people who dont want to upgrade to the 3.4 garbage. For those who do, you can just ignore the compatibility warning... it seems to work fine for now.

Nothing's changed with the mod wrt text size. Check your UI scaling option in the game settings.

Fleet cap thing was adjusted last month per request (I do keep the changelog going and accurate.)

No way I can try to stuff all the info stellaris throws at you into a smaller than default resolution, that would just be painful to deal with.

I've noticed that after my fleet cap goes above 1000, it starts clipping out and I can't see my maximum fleet cap without hovering over it

Added/fixed compatibility for change in NSC2 (New Ship Classes) starbase view. Started to do it myself but halfway through I was like, why am I re-inventing the wheel? And just included CaptainX3's old version of it instead. Still looks fine if you dont use NSC2 (why aren't you?!)

Wasn't as bad as I initially thought. If I missed something, let me know.

Note that the planet screen is still not touched, as it's still such a huge mess. I started using some bigger planet mods anyways. Hopefully governors/sectors get fixed soon and I can play again...

theres a few screens that need scrolling added, a lot of the same leader is a prime example, the planet view too

@RaidSoft - Never played multiplayer, so never noticed! Anyways, think I fixed it. (Grr at no console in multiplayer... hellish for testing!)

I noticed that when playing multiplayer, there was a button with an incorrect position in the bottom right corner, players or something? Can't remember which one it was.. Thanks for all your work as usual on this mod :)

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to have the features tab just open by default (wtf are they thinking, hiding this stuff away, seriously?) Maybe modding the main window and just removing the popout or something, I don't know... ugh!

No, I'm not supporting external exe's (interesting as they may be.)

Easy enough for you to make a bookmark in your browser for http://127.0.0.1:28053/timeline and use the mod that way.

Plus there's a very straightforward way for his mod to overwrite any mods (including that screen) from this or any other mod without any kind of compatibility patch.

Is the Edicts window supposed to be expanded too? It is showing up the same size as in vanilla for me. I've tried unsubscribing and resubscribing the mod as well.

It's still a tiny window, it shows when you click on the trade route map mode. If you have many stations it will need to scroll a lot. Please check if you could make it large like the others.

That one doesnt change any rules, just embiggens the layout somewhat, though on my screen there seems to be a lot of empty space below the main area. Still, it's better than default and works fine with the rest of this mod.

Maybe see if there's ideas in that one that could be used in a re-do for this one.

There is a lot of unused horizontal space in the interface and the portraits of the pops are too small. Is it possible to increase their size and make the planet interface larger on the horizontal?

No, all that is is a darker background for part of the ship designer that his 1080 version uses. This one just uses default backgrounds, so it shouldnt make any difference if you have the compat patch installed or not.

It would be great if the planet view was just wayyy bigger on the population view for sure, Is there anyway to make it auto expand the jobs when you click on the population tab? I have so much screen and it puts it in this littel box where i can scroll through rows and rows just to find a job. Thanks for you work.

Yeah, the icon name is something probably assigned when they compile the build, like the icons are stored in the IDE as an array and written out with programmatic names. Means they probably added another icon somewhere before that shifted the conventions or something. Maybe? *shrug* :P I just know debugging my own code is bad enough, having to live through someone else changing the parent code base and borking your code in the process is frustrating as hell. :P

That exception is what happens when Paradox changes the name of an icon for no reason (it's the exact same icon), and then I miss one of the references to it while working on this without enough sleep!

Swatted that, the floating union button, and the left edge issues. Will keep playing around with Policies, Ship Building, and Planet views. That default Planet window really seems cluttered to me... obv it's been a while, since I kinda miss the metagame of strategically placing buildings for bonuses and stuff hehe...

can confirm the same issue at a glance all techs I have been CTD seem to be tier 2 or tier 3 at this point. Took a look at the mod code and I can not pin point the issue. I can also confirm disabling the mod here resolves the problem so might be a broken link in the code somewere.

been having the same trouble as Stormshadow. I also kept getting crashes when opening the tech view, and just like Stormshadow, the Off-World Trading Company was one of the options when i disabled the mod.
