--------------------------

This is an update of Tyrus's 1440p UI Overhaul for Stellaris for version 2.*

Uses his and Dr. Maple's work, all credit to them. I just made it work with the latest version.

Original 1080p Overhaul: http://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=684509615

Any problems, let me know. Also open to feature requests if you think something could use some extra size to take advantage of the resolution.

Below is Tyrus' original description. All images belong to him.

Warning: This mod is for use on 2560x1440 resolution. If you're having issues with windows being unusable, your resolution might be set incorrectly in your in-game settings. Please make sure your resolution is correct before commenting about the mod not working for you. Thanks!

Overhauls the UI to scale for 1440p resolution. Made this because everyone hates scrolling. Extends most windows to minimize that annoyance.

Ok, done updating this for now. Orrie's doing a decent job of it lately, and I havent played the game in like a year, plus frustration with the stupid new launcher has killed my desire to keep this updated. Check out UI Overhaul Dynamic.

Been a good couple years, glad to have helped anyone who used the mod.

Yeah, they've f**ed with the launcher again, I can't get it to work either. I'm basically done fighting with these morons at Paradox. We'll see if they fix things soon.

*edit* I managed to get it going with the launcher update, but only by uninstalling THE LAUNCHER via add/remove programs, and then going and deleting all settings for it as noted in this post on the paradox forums...

New Launcher Will Not Let Me Use Mods [forum.paradoxplaza.com]

What a huge pita.

Hello. On the launcher it says "!" required 2.3. I enable it anyway, but doesn't seem to do anything in-game.

@Bullet25 - I just loaded it up and it worked fine for me. The UI files havent been changed since October 2019, so you must be having some other issue.
Bullet25 31 Jan, 2020 @ 2:09pm
Still causes crashes in the newest version. Any chance this might get updated?

Just an FYI... as many of you may have noticed, the new launcher is garbage. Uploading mods is semi-broken, and trying to deal with it is just a nightmare. Plus 3.4 launcher downloaded mods get unpacked, thus becoming unusable to previous stellaris versions. I wont go into all the problems (there's a thread over on paradoxplaza and a few here).

Good news, despite some small ui changes, this verision still works with both 3.3 and 3.4, so I wont be updating it until pdx fixes their launcher/mod issues, to preserve comptibility for people who dont want to upgrade to the 3.4 garbage. For those who do, you can just ignore the compatibility warning... it seems to work fine for now.

Nothing's changed with the mod wrt text size. Check your UI scaling option in the game settings.

Fleet cap thing was adjusted last month per request (I do keep the changelog going and accurate.)

No way I can try to stuff all the info stellaris throws at you into a smaller than default resolution, that would just be painful to deal with.
Jin Shepard 18 Aug, 2019 @ 7:51am
A lot of the text is really small, I cant remember the mod doing that a year ago
Hopit 9 Jul, 2019 @ 7:25pm
I've noticed that after my fleet cap goes above 1000, it starts clipping out and I can't see my maximum fleet cap without hovering over it

Could you please make an UI Overhaul for smaller monitors, like 1024X768 and 800X600?
