Sucks because its really good assets
Also square textures can never be really well optimised, because you can never fully utilise the repetition of paterns in textures (like in your example the brick or the roofs) unless you divide faces which in turn adds to the triscount.
Sure for some it might be worth it having these, but for others having that extra variation of buildings outweights that extra detail when zoomed in (which can't be seen without zoom mods). I'm in the latter group. I'm perfectly fine with the fact that some creators choose to make super detailed high resolution stuff, but if there's a chance to get those buildings at a lower resolution, I'm gonna take it. I'd love to have these houses, but not with such large textures. My 24 GB RAM are about full and I know the other creators I love have many more stuff I'll want (plus my own stuff). ;)
If i can make a suggestion of what to do at some point in the near future:
Please can you make some High Density Georgian Terraced Housing (housing and buildings that dominate Inner London)?
@Avanya, although this comment is not against to your comment, please excuse me if it bathers as I know how valuable moder you are. And finally sincere thanks to @Macwelshman and @Avanya for their great contribution to the wonderful community.
And perhaps a 'light' version wouldn't be such a bad idea...
Another Thank You for taking the extra time to provide the building stats and details (not many of the newer creators make that extra effort and their assets get overlooked)
Could you make a 1024x1024 texture version of this?
Btw if all the levels are the same buildings, you might want to mention that in the description. With the Loading Screen mod that would mean only 4 different textures would actually be loaded and shared, meaning lower RAM usage for the whole pack. Ofc that's only relevant if they're the same textures. :)
