Localization and Tooltips

  • Updated localization strings (In English) for all languages, remember translations go below ESAP in the load order.
NOTE for translators: you can use a "replace" folder in the "localisation" folder and it will guarantee that the English lines are replaced by your translation, any language can go in the "replace" folder, of course it has to have the same structure (file name)_l_(language name).yml and saved in UTF-8 with BOM.

Relevant features

  • Settlers of the Galaxy
    Allows you to gain 33% research progress towards the Wormhole Stabilization technology. It unlocks a new edict and new policies.
    • Must have at least 3 planets.
    • Grants access to the Cornucopia Beacon edict that increases amenities and stability for 5 Years in newly colonized planets.
    • This perk also allows Settler Policies allowing you to Customize your Colonizer Ships and how many pops you can bring on your expansion journey or focus your New Worlds Research efforts.
    • May not have The Most Serene of Realms Ascension Perk.

  • edict_esap_cornucopia now displays correctly.
  • ap_esap_gov_GC_3_desc:0 Fixed from -entend- to -extend-
  • mod_shipsize_colonizer_hull_mult:0 "Colonizer (Non-corporate) hull hitpoints" is no longer used since it only affected normal colonizers and did not include corporate or lithoid colonizers
  • mod_shipclass_colonizer_build_speed_mult:0 "Colonizer build speed" added, it includes all colonizers.
  • mod_shipclass_colonizer_hull_mult:0 "Colonizer hull hitpoints" added, it includes all colonizers.

Relevant features

  • The Beautiful Bureaucracy
    Government Perk. Planet Stability increases by 5 for each Government Perk unlocked (including this one).
    • Non-Gestalt empires: Specialist jobs (including robots) produce 2 additional unity.
    • The Great Echo is the Gestalt variant of this perk, it has similar effects.
    • For Gestalts: Complex and Simple Drones produce 1 unity.
  • Transcended learning now applies leader levels correctly.
  • Pop category - drones fix, -modifier_category = pop- now goes above triggered modifiers so it applies modifiers correctly.
  • Settlers of the Galaxy no longer grants an extra colonizer, instead it unlocks extra settler policies (you can customize how many pops you want to load in Colonizers, fewer colonists = more new worlds research and viceversa ) and the cornucopia beacon (an edict that increases amenities in newly colonized planets temporarily for five years).
  • Fixed _ct2 diplomacy, country_command_limit_mult is no longer used, is now command_limit_mult.
  • Quantum entanglement communications (Technology from AP Secrets of the Universe) now grants -12% empire size from pops instead of the old +20 admin cap, effectively granting a similar effect and making that tech equally useful.
  • Fixed ruler traits appearing on all empires without the fanatic egalitarian perk (more testing needed).
  • This update is fully save game compatible unlike the first 3.8 update.

  • Fixed ap_esap_gov_hive_4_desc -grat echo-. is now -great echo- in the description.
  • ap_esap_gov_GC_3:0 "$Consciousness Nodes$" (Flavor text for Gestalt’s Imperial Prerogative)
  • ap_esap_gov_GC_3_desc:0 "New flavor text for description.
  • Localization for new modifiers, edict and policies were added (currently just English), I'm uploading English string lines for other languages tomorrow.

Hello everyone! The 3.8 update comes with a lot of changes:

Relevant features

  • Psy-Cyber-Bio path merges are no longer handled by this mod for various reasons, but the most important reason is compatibility, this would allow mod combinations that were not possible before and the mod will be easier to maintain this way.
  • ESAP Bonus perks for Evolution (Artificial Procreation), Cyborg (A Thought in the Circuit) and Psionic (Mental Suppression) are still available and only requires that you start the vanilla perks’ appropriate tree in order to select them, these bonus perks no longer require any ESAP “ultimate evolution” perks and are no longer restricted between each other so you can select all bonus perks if you wish. (If you install a mod that merges paths of course).
  • ESAP no longer replaces 00_ascension_perks.txt, even though the reasoning behind it was to have a more organized ascension list, the tradeoff was causing incompatibilities with other ascension mods, which nowadays are quite common and fun to have active at the same time.
  • ESAP still overlaps three vanilla APs: ap_imperial_prerogative, ap_executive_vigor and ap_transcendent_learning, all related to the Government Ascension Path.
  • Revised Government Ascension Path, it now has built-in compatibility for Unique Ascension Perks and Worthy Ascension Perks and !Reworked Advanced Ascension.
  • Updated AI weights and slightly balanced certain perks
  • esap_general.1 now has is_triggered_only = yes so it doesn’t trigger every in-game day, this improves daily performance a bit.
  • Adjusted Self Realization (Fanatic Egalitarian perk) and The Art is War perks, even though you can’t level up those traits the base modifier is higher to make them worthy, also it works with and without Galactic Paragons DLC but obviously is better with the DLC since you can pick your own perks.
  • Updated economic categories with new game version and also keeps economic categories from other mods (Like for example Gigastructures).
  • Reworked trait code in traits folder, this requires further testing so some traits grey out if they are council traits but is fully functional.

  • Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese added (not actual translations but localization entries so is easier to replace for translators).
  • ap_esap_gov_1_tooltip: no longer displays edict length but rather edict funds added.
  • ap_esap_gov_GC_1_tooltip: no longer displays edict length but rather edict funds added.
  • ap_esap_gov_2_tooltip: fixed typo from -Leader Experiance- to -Leader Experience-
  • ap_esap_gov_3_tooltip: better explains that you get -50% baseline Empire Size from Colonies and further decreases this by -10% for each government perk (including this one).
  • ap_esap_gov_3_corp_tooltip:0 better explains that you get -50% baseline Empire Size from Colonies and further decreases this by -10% for each government perk (including this one).
  • ap_esap_gov_GC_3_tooltip: better explains that you get -50% baseline Empire Size from Colonies and further decreases this by -10% for each government perk (including this one).
  • ap_esap_gov_machines_4_desc: fixed typo from-grat echo- to -great echo-
  • Replaced all instances of §YControl Perk§! with §YGovernment Perk§!, so it is consistent with all civs and easier to understand the synergy between government perks.
  • Updated fanatic_spiritualist_2 perk and fanatic_egalitarian_2 perk, reflecting correct increased benefits.
