Update 1.2.8 - Better pet stats

After more testing, we realized that most regular captured monsters were still very weak, even with good armor. So we've scaled them up a bit to match the threats around them.

  • Health regeneration now works for new creatures from other mods (+0.5 hp/sec v.s. 1.2 hp/sec for vanilla creatures). The lower regen setting is because some mod creators prefer to set their own regeneration rates.
  • Extra health scaling for pets is +42% of base health + 12 hP.

Update 1.2.0 - Rare Monsters

55 Rare variants of unique creatures are 5 X more likely to be encountered in the wild (from 1% to 5% chance)!
Most of these have abilities laced with elemental power!
This should raise the challenge a bit more and help you complete the rare pet collection quicker.

Pro TIP: Pets captured on bounty missions are even stronger than those caught in the wild.

Patch 1.10.5

  • Mini bosses Shockhopper MK 1 and Dreadwing drop ores at their respective tier (titanium or durasteel) and have a 50/50 chance to drop diamonds or their figurine.
  • Harmless cats and dogs wild have triple health regeneration.
    Additionally any new cats and dogs you find in the wild will have three times as much health (to prevent accidental killing during capture and increasing their longevity as they travel with you. You should still be Very careful when capturing them however; as they spawn with a much lower level than surrounding creatures.
  • Crew members have a health regeneration of 3HP/s (up from 2HP/s from Vanilla). This value will only change if no other mod loaded earlier has altered the value.

Update 1.1
The mod now grants improved rewards for combat in a tougher universe:
  • Enemies and some chests drop about 50% more pixels.
  • Vanilla Bosses drop all their regular drops on defeat. No more having to replay that 30-minute mission for a one-in-ten chance to get that rare weapon or action figurine trophy!
    Additionally, they drop much more pixels.
  • Ancient vaults have about 70% more ancient essence for you to loot!
  • Vault guardian bosses are guaranteed to drop two Microterraformers
  • The final mech boss fight has some additional loot.

Patch 1.0.5
Lowered health bonus of Ixodoom to 50%
This is due to Nuru's event of not breaking the shell not triggering otherwise.

Lowered dungeon vault guardian hp bonus to 100% (taking into account the scaling at that point of the game).

Removed slow health regen from Heli Cultist and hostile humanoid NPCs. This is due to a glitch where the former wouldn't get slain properly otherwise.
