DARKSPACE v2.9 - For Stellaris 3.10.3 (and above)
v2.9 is a very important update, involving a huge rework of internal scripts/code, many improvements, new content and much more.

DARKSPACE v2.9 MISC CHANGES:
- Added a DarkSpace icon in front of origins for a better overview when playing with other mods.
- Added a DarkSpace icon below the name of all Civics & Ascension Perks for a better overview when playing with other mods.
- Added a missing description that the "Xeelee-Brain" must be built around a black hole.
- Rewrote all origin events.
- Rewrote many misc events.
- Rewrote many other systems/effects/events

- Spectrals & Certus cost now 2 civic points due their power (together with the 3rd new 2-point civic "Cyberpunk").
- Fixed "Genetic Assimilation" AP being available for pure hiveminds, because it doesn't work for purged pops anyway.
- Fixed the Gray Tempest origin not being able to add the Nanite-trait after gamestart.
- Fixed an exploit that made it possible to open the Nomad menu as non-Nomads to get free resources.
- Fixed a bug with automatic Manpower Growth (Nomads) not adding the actual 1 or 2 Manpower every 2 years (technology "Interstellar Society").

- Removed Origins: Solar Flare, Certast Cluster, Intergalactic Isolationists(1+2)
- Removed Localisation: German files for every content (it takes too much time to maintain 2 languages).
- Removed unused code, localisation and pictures.
- Removed some custom ships from the 3d ship browser.
- Removed the "Gray Tempest" origin from being able to use the "Replicators" Ascension Perk (too strong combination).
- Reduced the mod size a lot by compressing many texture files.

Civic Certus:
- Costs now 2 civic points.
- Changed the civic bonuses.
- Have now an own tradition - "Eternal Union"
- Removed +5 starbase capacity from their perk "Pathway of our Empire" & it requires now the destroyers technology.

SUPERWEAPONS (MEGASTRUCTURES):
- Requires now a new rare resource to fire - "Concentrated Antimatter".
- Each perk adds a new building for the empire - "Focused Particle Accelerator" to produce it.
- Income + stockpile is shown in firing button + situation log tooltips!
- Removed both old ways of how firing the Superweapon megastructure(s) and added a non-DLC dependent way that works in EVERY system!
- Warning: The changes above are NOT savegame compatible!

NOMAD UPDATE (ORIGIN):
New Population Limit: "Crew Capacity"
- Starts in v2.9 with 250.
- The value is visible in the Nomad-UI & has its own tooltip button for details.
- Can be increased with techs, a perk, a civic, & traditions.

Addons:
- Added a mechanic that automatically establishes communications by the AI if a Nomad empire visits their border.
- Added a way for "Savages" to join/leave the GalCom.
- Added a way for "Savages" to gain intel on empires (new button nearby of opening the Nomad-Administration).
- Added a new perk to increase the population limit - "Boundless Horizons" (+200)
- Added a new repeatable technology to increase the new "Crew Capacity" modifier.
- Added a civic for cheaper "Recruitment" decisions.
- Added a civic for a "Star Cult"
=> not gestalt, not, megacorp, must be any kind of spiritualist
=> higher unity income, faction approval, reduced tradition costs by empire size, -0.5 growth
- Added a civic to reduce empire size from Manpower.
- Added a civic for +2 monthly Manpower growth.
- Added a civic for pirate/raid gameplay.
- Added a civic that increases the new "Crew Capacity" (population limit).
- Added a civic for genocidial gameplay.
=> has military and growth bonuses
=> huge opinion reduction from normal empires
=> bombing non-artificial planets to 100% will turn them into nuked or broken worlds = rewards with unity OR minerals
- Added a new tradition called "Dynamic Industry", its focus is industry & a new ship class that works as large mobile shipyard.

Misc Changes:
- Planet Desintegrator = construction is now cheaper
- Origin bonus = Increased additional ship upkeep (energy) from 5% to 10%.
- Tradition "Cosmic Voyagers" - Changed the icon.
- Tradition "Starseekers" - Changed adaption effect from "+10000 Resource Capacity" to "+25% Survey Speed".
- Tradition "Starseekers" - Changed +25 Nomad Housing (adapt) to +15.
- Tradition "Voidborn" - Changed Empire Size Reduction from -15% to -10%. Replaced +10% Shipspeed (adapt) with +25k Resource Capacity.
- Changed localisation for the resource modifiers & the origin.
- Changed the steady increasing of the required points to fully grow a Manpower pop (multiplier from 0.07 to 0.1).
=> This means pops will now grow a bit slower, but this can now be offset by selecting a new civic.
- Blocked several Vanilla civics from the origin.

NEW CONTENT
Cyberpunk Civic
- An online/consume society, but better technology, costs 2! civic points like Spectrals & Certus
=> cant be removed, non gestalt, must be some degree of materialist, multiple origins blocked
=> has 1/1 en/decryption, but pops have higher CG upkeep
=> Building "VR-Complex" (max 10) provides Netrunner jobs for planet-wide bonuses.
=> building "Arasaka Subnet" (max1) provides Edgerunner jobs for empire wide bonuses
=> has army type of strong Cyborgs

The Shadows Civic
- Focus on cloaking combat & espionage.
=> only with FirstContact-DLC, can not be xenophile
=> can use a spy operation to destroy decloaking stations
=> higher base intel and cloaking

Small changes.

- Further balance changes to some origins, civics, perks, megastructures & planets.
- Added an offset to the location of the Formless event system.
- Added trigger flags to the scripted trigger for core systems. (has_star_flag = chosen_system/formless_system)
- Removed all custom Unbidden portraits.
- Fixed the bug that the Humanoid shipset was called "Organic".
- Fixed minor localisation errors.

Mod updated for Stellaris 3.10 (but works for 3.9.3 too).


DARKSPACE v2.84 MISC CHANGES:
- Galactic Core can now be disabled in the gamesettings at gamestart.
- Merged the two megastructure perks into one - "Age of Empires".
This is probably not savegame compatible!
- Removed old unused Nomad content.
- Finishing a Superweapon megastructure now gives all others a total war CB against you! (requires a new save)
- Crisis Perks do now not reduce opinion against FE's anymore (they were annoying).
- All origins that use the "Interstellar Portal" structure to reach the galaxy (starting in a cluster) have now the other portals correctly surveyed.

- Nomads = Fixed FE's being able to use Nomad-Gates (they shouldn't).
- Nomads = Added empire size reduction to "Voidborn" tradition, removed the +5% Alloys bonus.
- Spectrals = Fixed the Galactus being able to use Rays on neutral colonies (Primitives).

DARKSPACE v2.84 BALANCE CHANGES:
Some origins, civics, megastructures have been adjusted.

- Intergalactic Isolationists origin - Removed the ruined ringworld system.
- Utopia & Arcane origin - Adjusted blocker costs (cheaper) & amount. Colonizer cost reduced from +200% to +125%. Removed any habitability trait at gamestart.
- Phoenix Empire origin - Adjusted blocker costs (cheaper).
- Apex Industrie - 2nd stage from 250CG to 200CG, max stage from 500CG to 450CG
- Other smaller changes to different content of the mod.

CHANGED LOC FILES - only relevant for translation mods
- Added cb_ds_stop_nuke + wg_ds_end_threat_nuke with desc
- Added dsS.9.a + dsS.9.a.desc
- Added ap_ds_aoe + more below it.
- Loc error - The Anti-Spiral resource/icon wording are switched. # MS DESC

Mostly fixes!


DARKSPACE v2.83 MISC CHANGES:
- Added is_ds_gc_star = { is_planet_class = pc_gc_star } scripted trigger.
- Added flag check elec_artificial_quasar_star for PKs - cant destroy this planet (Electroids Species Pack).
- Added tech requirements to some ascension perks.
- Added custom districts to Certus planets & Kompass station, while fixing the capital building issue with it.
- Removed the "Science Lab" from the Vi & Utopia origin.
- Nomads have a now a new modifier after a fresh gamestart (as Savages) to have a slow ship repair.
Savages have also an edict to repair hull points.
=> Because the base game doesnt allow the "Repair Fleet" button anymore, no idea why.
- Removed the "Idyllic Bloom" civic for Hyperflora origin. (Gaia & Hive worlds can still be terraformed to Hyperflora worlds.)
- Spectrals Origin (Synthetic Gods): Reduced the cost of the first 4 steps of the Anti-Spectral.


GRAY TEMPEST (ORIGIN):
- Jobs that produce Nanites now generate less Nanites, but can scale up like Metallurgists.
- Gray Tempest ships have now reduced hullpoints and a higher buildcost to compensate Stellaris' many cost-reduction modifiers.
- Gray Tempest ships received section changes & the titans are now a bit stronger, but can only be built 5 times now.
- Can use the crisis perk now only later in the game.
- Sanakan cores (crisis path) get their power increased dependent on the game year.
- Sanakan cores (crisis path) are now 100% stronger when ACOT/Giga is installed to compensate for the large numbers of said mods (can not promise that its enough).
- Can not terraform Nanite worlds to Gaia worlds anymore (was an oversight).

WARNING: Balance for Sanakan-Cores is NOT done. The new mechanic to scale with the passed game years is a bit hard to predict, especially with other mods. Feedback is appreciated!


CHANGED LOC FILES - only relevant for translation mods
- Added "ds_nomads_repair" + "ds_nomad_repair_only_once" into the Nomad loc files. (below "# Edicts")
- Added "nomad_savages_repair" + "nomad_savages_repair_effect" into the Nomad loc files.

Synthetic Gods (Origin) rework & more!

REWORK: SYNTHETIC GODS (ORIGIN):
WARNING: The rework is not to 100% done. I plan further additions like a crisis declaration by the AI (GalCom), balance changes & inbuilt compatibility for other mods.

New:
- Added "Lifeseeder" ships to create primitive civs when not owning the ApocalypseDLC for the colossus weapon.
- Added new selfmade ship models for all ships.
- Added many new sections to all of their ships.
- Added a new edict to remove all starbases outside of the cluster after harvesting the galaxy.
=> Easier to seed new life in the galaxy.
- Added a new progression system with smaller perks that unlock technologies & abilities.

Changed:
- Reworked the entire code for the crisis path.
- Reworked ALL event / script code for SyntheticGods & Spectrals civic.
- Reworked ALL texts, events, descriptions & tooltips have been changed.
- Reworked the model of the "Anti-Spectral" megastructure.
- Reworked the entire mechanic for the "Intertemporal Accelerator" megastructure (superweapon that nukes systems).
- Reworked the origin initializer (cluster outside of the galaxy).
=> Cluster is now closed until the Nier tech is researched!
=> Opening the cluster will inform all countries in the galaxy (necessary for MP).

Removed:
- Removed "Supercomputer" megastructure, because it wasn't useful anymore.
- Removed unused content, techs, triggers, effects and icons while the rework (but added many new).


REWORK: SPECTRALS (CIVIC):
- Removed all bonuses the civic had.
- Added the edict "Multiverse Compiler" - opens a custom UI to use skillpoints in 5 different nodes (can be reskilled at any time).

In this custom UI you can now use skillpoints for different bonuses. Each node has an own focus:
> AKIRA = War
> ALITA = Society
> ARZON = Neutral Node
> AXON = Megastructures
> AXIS = Specialists


DARKSPACE v2.74 MISC CHANGES:
- Origin Xeelee & Constructor Ark - Receive now deviancy/crime job to counterbalance the high rate at high pop numbers.
- Origin Xeelee - Fixed starting income for machines (was too high) & starts now with 2 fewer pops.
- Origin Arcane & Certast - Adjusted starting districts of Arcane ringworlds.
- Perk "Gods Vengeance" is not visible anymore when playing Gestalt.
- Made the Spectralic shipset not playable until its rework with custom models for ALL ships types.
- The "Kompass Citadel" can not be cracked anymore by all common Planet-Killer Weapons.
- Reduced energy upkeep of the "Xeelee-Brain" megastructure.
- Removed the different model for the crisis engine (NemesisDLC) - it will be added as seperate mod.


CHANGED LOC FILES - only relevant for translation mods
- Changed ALL entries in the Spectralos loc (localisation/Spectrals/ds_spectrals_l_LANGUAGE.yml). Any translation mod has to re-translate the ENTIRE file!
- Added d_ds_control_center + d_ds_control_center_desc to the main loc.

DARKSPACE v2.77
Added a new custom GUI for the DarkSpace settings at gamestart.
The GUI above also includes a button to see the latest DS changelog (Steam)!

DARKSPACE v2.77 MISC CHANGES:
- Superweapons have now a bigger range when using the OverlordDLC mechanic.
- Hyperflora origin - Trait debuff reduced from 75% to 50% & nerfed the -100% habitability on non ideal worlds to -25% (it made early expansion sometimes too hard).
- Arcane origin - Arcane ringworlds have now -100% Pop Demotion Time to make early game job changes easier.
- Utopia origin - Adjusted the starting districts & resources.
- Halo origin - Fixed starting districts & jobs. Sorry that it was bugged!
- Ark of Constructors origin - Adjusted starting population (-2).
- Phoenix Empire origin - Starts now without the Research Lab (has already 2 jobs unlocked).
- Xeelee origin - Starting deposit produces now some energy for a smoother early game.
- Requiem origin - Starts now with more solar systems like a real FE & changed origin initializers
- Vero civic - Leader lifespan again increased to +100.
- Regluated Consumption civic - Extra food upkeep reduced from +50% to +33% to make the civic more beneficial (for 1 civic slot).

Localisation Changes:
- Changed trait_ds_hyperflora_desc

DARKSPACE v2.76
Quick hotfix for savegames that include the now deactivated "Synthetic Gods" origin.
It should now not cause a crash anymore when loading the save with the newest mod version.

The settings at gamestart will tell you DarkSpace version v2.76. If you see this number, the mod is up2date.
