Description
This is the thruster damage friendly version of the ship.

"Longsword" Mark IX Fighter Prototype - A full year after the original model of the Longsword comes the first of our fourth generation craft. The Longsword has been completely overhauled to incorporate new technologies and systems that have recently become available. This craft now features a fully functional conveyor system conneting its internal components, which has been built with enough redundancy to maintain functionality in a variety of damaged states.

A connector on the bottom of the ship allows docking procedures to refuel the twin large reactors, recharge both onboard batteries, or rearm the three gatling guns at the front of the craft. This is also the first of our fighters to feature an expansive system of interior storage, accessible from the exterior through two ports located on the top of the ship. Nearby is a rear-facing camera to provide the pilot a visual on the area behind the ship. As with all our craft, the Longsword continues to feature an onboard Gravity Drive for use in long-distance space travel.

StarDev Systems Gravity Drive - These craft feature gravity drives for use with gravity acceleration gates. This should be deactivated by default. Approach the a gravity gate directly from the center with inertial dampeners deactivated, then turn on the gravity drive. Turn off the drive once maximum speed is achieved. StarDev Systems warns against activating the gravity drive in any other conditions, as once activated it may be interfered with by other gravity fields.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad you all like the ship.

@abordoli - You need to make sure that the ownership of both objects with connectors is assigned to you in order to get them to lock.

Got a bit of a nOOb question because I don't make small ships...I'm also facing the same issue with many of the other small ships that I am finding in "exploration mode"...

How do I connect these small ship "ejector/conectors" (odd as they report as being a "conector" in systems, but are listed as an "ejector" when you go to grab the item to build one) to, say, a station or large ship's connector? I get them physically close together as they seem to have the same size circles, but they're not turning yellow and I'm not geting the ability to "lock".

Thanks in adevance to anyone that can assist.

-Cheers

I found your ship, but accidentaly destroyed both wingtips when trying to dock/haul it back to my "base"...so I'm here to get a pristine copy. Cheers for the contribution!
