Playable Ripto

Update: Ripto's scepter now has a new behavior. The shadowflame fireball flies faster and now splits into 6 shadowflame fireballs at the cursor position and will home in on enemies as long as they are in empty space where they have a line of sight with the enemy. The fireballs can go through tiles, but they lose their homing ability when going through tiles and will only fly straight.

Get ready to play as Ripto, the fan favorite Spyro villain! This is an unorthodox Spyro mod, but there's more to Spyro mods than just playing as Spyro. Show the orange dinosaur sorcerer some love! Requires MrPlague's Authentic Races mod installed in order to function. Credit goes to MrPlague for his MrPlagueRaces mod.

Ripto starts off naked upon creation, but he will have his cape outfit in his inventory. He'll also have a familiar wig to make headgear invisible and a ruby staff as a starter magic weapon. When he's selected from the "female" slot, he'll use another one of his hurt sounds. There's no other differences. Both hurt sounds are from Spyro: Reignited Trilogy.

Ripto's weapons are available in hardmode and his outfit is available in pre-hardmode. Go to a Mythril or Orichalcum anvil with 10 gold bars and a large ruby to craft Ripto's Scepter. A crafting station isn't needed for Ripto's Claws and all you need is 10 souls of night. For Ripto's Cape, you can craft it with 5 silk at a loom. Ripto can auto jump when you hold down the spacebar.
