Ripto from Spyro: Reignited Trilogy (and the classic Spyro: Ripto's Rage) is here to conquer the universe! For fans that have always wanted to play as Ripto, this is a perfect mod. Ripto NPCs use an NPC version of Ripto's Scepter. The NPC Ripto's Scepter will fire a projectile that arcs more to correct an issue with NPCs aiming over targets' heads. You start off with a regular Ripto's Scepter found in the ship locker. Ripto's Scepter and NPC Ripto's Scepter can also be crafted at Ripto's Spell Table or dropped from Ripto NPCs. The scepter looks good used with Ripto's Magic Barrier and Orb Techs. Other spell weapons are cast from Ripto's Scepter, but have different icons to tell them apart. Don't dual wield them with other "Ripto's Scepters" or it'll look funny, put them in separate slots. Phoenix Spell is inspired by Terraria's Phantom Phoenix, and Ripto's Magic Wings are inspired by Jim's Wings and Nebula Wings from Terraria. Ripto's Scepter is a one handed weapon that uses alt attack when using Shift + mouse click.

This 'race mod' focuses on Ripto and not his whole species. The only difference between the "male" and "female" slot is Ripto uses a different instance of him saying "ouch" when hurt. Spell armor and the EPP spell icons are based on the Nebula buffs from Terraria. Ripto has custom scan descriptions and special dialog when talking to another Ripto (WHAT! A clone of ME?!), and different dialog when speaking to other races. There's no plans for dungeons. Ripto is just starting out gathering followers to help him take over planetary castles. Ripto mostly stays in his castle ship. What better castle to keep as a permanent residence than one you can take with you across space to conquer the universe?

Ripto ambush events were removed in an earlier update due to some people finding hostiles too tough and/or disliking NPCs randomly showing up. Ripto and his minions randomly beam in while you explore on a planet. One ambush event is hostile, and the other is friendly. These ambush event NPCs will despawn when far enough off screen or if beaming off the planet. Non-event NPCs are still in this mod, but they can only be spawned with admin commands. Like event NPCs, they have weaker and stronger versions of them. Unlike event NPCs, they won't despawn. If you play as Ripto, NPC Ripto and his minions will think you're a clone. Ripto's Wing Spell glows in the dark and it and the vampire wings have realistic flapping animations. I recommend the flight spell tech while wearing them. Orb techs function close to how they function in the Ripto's Rage boss battle. There's also two new orbs: Ice and Dark. Ripto's items are crafted at Ripto's Spell Table, Ripto's Potion Table, and Ripto's Magic Loom. Ripto's ship uses "castlewalls1", "castlewalls2" and "cobblestonebrick" blocks for the background walls as well as new ship objects. Ships created before I updated to the new ship layout will have the original walls, objects, and boosters, but you can replace them. SAIL, locker, and fuel hatch are moveable (except for ships created before I made them moveable), but the teleporter, captain's chair, and boosters are normally unbreakable. Use /admin in the chat commands, then put /entityeval object.smash() with the cursor over the object you wanna replace/move.

There's other mods depicted in the screenshots and videos, most notably Castlevania, Viera of Ivalice, Starry Planets, The Angels of Starbound, Suspicious Spa, ITA Dragon Temple, the Alrune, the Callistan, the Draconis, the Harpy, my Primatex mod, Nostalgic Greenery, Monster Sounds, Warframe Parkour, Blood Mod Reduced, among a couple others I can't name off the top of my head. I recommend Combineable Augments mod if you want to attach combined augments to Ripto's EPP spell back item.

Credits:
Nebulox: Made the luas that I used for Ripto's scepter and gauntlet claw/bite weapons. Luas came from Rin and Relics mod and Bare Fists mod. He also shared tech luas with me that I used for the Orb Techs.
Lyrthras: Lua help for Ripto ambush events to control how NPCs spawn, enable my potion breath weapons to consume itself as ammo, and for Ripto's scepter to use a Shift + mouse click alternate attack.
Silver Sokolova: Letting me use assets of Shattered Alchemy mod, like Mind Vision and Invisibility potions, etc. Also shared ambush event files.
Omeruin: Used an angel shield from the Angels mod to build Ripto's barrier shield. Omeruin and Silver also shared the ambush event files with me.
Aegonian: Elithian Races mod author made the invisibility behavior for Silver's Shattered Alchemy mod. Enemies can't see you when invisibile.
ProblemVacancy: Created the purple Glitch ship addon that I used to build Ripto's ship in its current state.
FutaraDragon: Orb tech's electric barrier comes from a shield from Futara Dragon mod. Futara's fullbright pixel shader helped me make magic wings and spikes of Ripto's crown fullbright.
Cyan Sky Knight: Saturnians Race mod author. Allowed me to use the baton gun weapons to build some of Ripto's spell weapons. Most have been altered to add more uniqueness.
Olaroll: Author of Universal Winged Flight that I used for Ripto's flight spell.
LordAlmira(LorDinDong): Made the designs of both sets of pirate costumes and the vampire costume. I got permission over Twitter to use them for this mod. 😀
