Description
This is a complete rework of Left 4 Bots (v1). It has pretty much the same functionalities of the V1 but they have been improved, plus some new functionalities have been added.

Please note: the goal of Left 4 Bots has always been to make the survivor bots more human-like, not to turn them into super zombie killing machines.

The addon gives them some functions that the vanilla AI was missing, like defib dead players, scavenge gascans, deadstop special intefected etc, so their combat skills are also improved but they can also fail and fu** things up, sometimes. But isn't this part of the human behavior? :D


What changed?
Almost everything.
The bots are more active while executing the orders, they can attack and shove infected and scavenge items.
The lead order has been completely reworked and it will work on most maps, including finales.
Now you can order each bot to follow another survivor or to go and hold a certain position.
Bots have weapon preferences you can change.
Bots can complete all the official campaigns on their own, look HERE (in The Last Stand campaign you also need this: NavFixes).

What didn't change?
The fact that L4B doesn't replace the vanilla AI, it simply adds some features to it.
L4B can make the bots execute your commands, throw nades, defib dead players and do some other stuff that the vanilla AI can't do (not always successfully though) but for most of the time it's still the vanilla AI controlling the bots, with all its known defects.

i think you need to set "team_min_shotguns" to "0" and then they won't pick up any shotguns. so long as you also have the shotguns removed from their weapon preferences.

cause if "team_min_shotguns" is set to 1, then 1 single bot will ALWAYS pick up either a tier 1 or tier 2 shotgun when they are close to one. if you set it to 0 and then remove the pump/chrome shotgun from the list, they should only ever pick up the tier 2 version i believe

How can i make it so that the bots never pickup pump shotgun? (none chrome)
I tried removing them from weapons but that didn't really work

the "manual_attack_radius" only works if "manual_attack" is set to "1" once that is set to 1, then you can adjust the "manual_attack_radius" to higher or lower. if lower, then the ai survivor bots will only attack infected that are within that range (example if you set that range to 100, then they will only shoot infected that are in that are in 100 or lower range, at least they should only shoot them when within that range and if the common infected are "agrod"

if "attack_wandering" is set to "1" then they will shoot any none agro infected that are within the "manual_attack_radius"

i might be wrong about this stuff but i think im right

After a bot is incapped by tank and then revived, all of them keep staying in that spot

Does anyone know if there's a setting to either stop the bots from shooting things you are shooting, or at least reduce the range of how far they will shoot things. I've looked over both the convars and settings parameters. The closest thing I've found in settings is "manual_attack_radius", but that doesn't seem to be helping much. For all I know this just covers when the bots are on their own doing a command you gave them and not for general combat.

Very little time do the bots do nonsense the ai once did not revive me in a survival map one time.
(Btw i don't have an thoughts on the bots from someone who usually play's campaign solo, i usually just don't care/ignore it)

The Convars.txt when I view it with notepad it's encoded in chinese, and is missing stuff. why?
