Unlock achievement "House of Doom" / Desbloquear logro "La casa de la fatalidad"

A continuación les mostraré como desbloquear el logro "La casa de la fatalidad" de forma manual, ya que el juego está bug y no se puede desbloquear de manera convencional. Esta solución está basada en comentarios de los foros de steam. Creditos a los diversos autores / cooperadores: GR34TD3STR0Y3R, Elthrael, DozER y Xazuki.

Step by step - English

First I recommend you configure the "quick save" button in the options, since this is the way I used and it worked for me. Once done, follow the steps below:

Go to episode E5M6: The Underworld and find the secret exit.
Make a quick save before entering the portal.
Minimize the game.
Go to the directory: user \ USER_NAME \ Saved Games \ Nightdive Studios \ Quake and find the file named "0.sav".
Open the file "0.sav" in notepad (or any other text editor).
Search between lines 4350 and 4400 for the word "e5sm2", as shown in the following image.
Change the word "e5sm2" to "e5m8" and save the changes.
Load the saved game.
Cross the portal.

Doing the above will unlock the achievement but the game will crash. To avoid any type of error or problem, I recommend you close the game, return to the text file, change "e5m8" to "e5sm2" again, and save the changes.

Pasos a paso - Español

Primero te recomiendo configurar el botón de "guardado rápido" en las opciones, ya que ésta es la forma que yo utilicé y me funcionó. Una vez hecho esto, sigue los pasos mostrados a continuación:

Ve al episodio E5M6: The Underworld y encuentra la salida secreta.
Haz un guardado rápido antes de entrar al portal.
Minimiza el juego.
Ve al directorio: usuario \ NOMBRE_DE_USUARIO \ Saved Games \ Nightdive Studios \ Quake y busca el archivo llamado "0.sav".
Abre el archivo "0.sav" en bloc de notas (o cualquier otro editor de texto).
Busca mas o menos entre las líneas 4350 y 4400 la palabra "e5sm2", tal como se muestra en la siguiente imágen.
Cambia la palabra "e5sm2" por "e5m8" y guarda los cambios.
Carga la partida guardada.
Cruza el portal.

Al hacer lo anterior desbloquearás el logro pero el juego crasheará. Para evitar cualquier tipo de error o problema, te recomiendo cerrar el juego, volver al archivo de texto, cambiar nuevamente "e5m8" por "e5sm2", y guardar los cambios.

@Damian 1989 Exactamente, así mismo. Se pusieron a cambiar los nombres de las entradas y mapas, y olvidaron volver a vincularlos con los nombres actualizados. Al final el logro no sale porque la línea en sí no existe en el código original.

¡Me funcionó el fix, gracias! Asumo que sucedió lo siguiente: Steam para validar el achievement busca que el juego cargue el nivel "e5m8" porque ese formato/código de nivel es similar al que tienen los demás niveles secretos del Quake:

e1m8: Ziggurat Vertigo
e2m7: The Underearth
e3m7: The Haunted Halls
e4m8: The Nameless City

Pero como el episodio Dimension of the Past tiene DOS niveles secretos en vez de uno, les cambiaron el formato:

e5sm1: The Forgotten Castle
e5sm2: The House of Doom

Por eso, como Steam busca un nivel secreto llamado "e5m8" pero el nivel secreto se llama "e5sm2" el achievement no funciona correctamente.

Que grande, funciono! Para los que no les aparezca la carpeta Saved Games (como a mi) usen la barra de navegacion en una ventana y peguen la ruta: C:\Users\NOMBRE_DE_USUARIO\Saved Games\Nightdive Studios\Quake
